Wearing a good supportive bra can take years off your look in clothes. I visit my lingerie store annually for a professional bra fitting. This is also good for trying new styles that may have been made by a favorite company. New bras can be costly (I am 38E), but even a cotton tee shirt fits better when the "girls" are lifted and secure! In my opinion, as important as good quality shoes.💞
I recently put on weight and much of it went to the girls (36AA to 38 DD). It took ten years and more and more bras but I have plateaued hopefully. But what I have found is that some of my clothes look better without the girls lifted. Sometimes the girls throw the line of a garment off. Maybe the outfit just doesn’t fit, period. I feel like Joan must have when Mad Men moved into the mod sixties.

Yes ! I do wear the same jewellery six days out of seven 😂😂 I have over 30 per of earrings and go for my white pearl studs every time. It is so nice to see Oscar today. We've missed him. 😘

I loved that you had Oscar there! A couple of weeks ago, I wore a ecru dress with a lot of texture in it, but all the same color. So wearing white or off-white has become very trendy this summer and looks it is continuing into the fall or black and white. With the dress, I wore a pair of red Rothys and carried a beige knitted bag. Rothys are similar to the shoe brand you showed that looked like white loafers with red but are made from recycled plastic bottles. I received three compliments from different women at three different times saying how beautiful my dress was. My husband also wanted you to know that he also said I looked beautiful-but he is very kind and says that every day. In the past, I probably would not have worn that dress and would have saved it for some grand occasion. But now you have made me feel that I should wear the clothes I love that I have. A few months ago I bid on eBay for a rather large lot of vintage earrings (that are clip-in’s as I don’t have pieced ears). Many are very beautiful and a little different. I have had fun changing the ones I wear-and that has become a signature for me-to make me a little different. I do have a couple of designer purses, but I have not been using them. I don’t know why, but I will consider them again to try to elevate my look. .
Great video. I wear mostly navy, denim, gray. For fall I will add a dark berry or spruce green for color. Black washes me out so navy is my black. I do have a few accessories in color and that works for me. I need to start wearing more of my jewelry or get rid of it-great idea.

Wow I simply adore your Oscar!! I’ve always had a dog/companion most of my life. In December 2019 we had to put down my beautiful Pekinese, Yoda. He too made all those sweet enduring noises. He slept with me most of the time and his snoring always made me sleep better. Enough of that! I enjoy watching and listening to your great advice. Here in a Chicago suburb I don’t find much need for high heels or jackets (except during our winter). I understand your love of black but being over the age of 70 I don’t wear completely outfits of black. I believe it ages me especially close to me face. I think you would agree to add a bit of color close to your face, scarf, jewelry etc. like you it’s just my opinion😮. I also can’t see spending thousands $$$$ on a purse. Shoes/boots/coats yes! That’s if for now😘💁♀️

I'm certain that someone told you the color of your jacket but I will again, just in case. It's Beige and it can be described as a sandy color or it can be considered to be so many colors, depending on the pallet. It's an earth tone regardless and I love it! I think Oscar smiled when you kissed him! So adorable he is!

I always enjoy your videos. Uplifting!!! Feels like you popped in for a little visit. Since I've become a minimalist I force myself to wear something different every day, especially jewellery. Otherwise I'll definitely end up always wearing the same thing. I can go two weeks, mixing and matching garments without repeating too many items. Sometimes it's definitely unusual - creating outside the box. That way I can also know for certain if something doesn't work for me anymore.
Super tips and advice - and an Oscar bonus too! You are so sweet together 😊. Loved all your advice - esp updating your look with modern shoes, the underwear advice definitely - and I am soooo guilty of not wearing jewellery/wearing same jewellery just because I wasn't organised enough and it's sitting inside boxes etc. Am now inspired to take photos of my jewellery and make a little folder, just a few pages with all the earrings on one page etc. - that way it will be quicker to see what to wear with which outfit, thank you Frederique 😘
My problem is that I have neglected myself and my style significantly over 7 years. A result of building a business of which I'm proud of by the way, but now I've started REbuilding my wardrobe bearing in mind your fashion tips. I'm 5'4in and never thought a jacket looked good on me. I had a lunch date with my Greek friend whom I hadn't seen in a while and she loved my new look. And ... I'm getting compliments from strangers. 🤗 I love that! 🤭 Only thing is, now ... I'm totally into shopping THE RIGHT CLOTHES.

I clean out my closets and drawers once a year, which helps. But the costume jewelry…..tossed out boxes and boxes. With what I spent, I could’ve had some beautiful earrings, necklaces, etc. Now the watch thing. Need my Apple Watch, but I have been switching out the band, and I switch the face to almost anything. Great video! I love everything in my wardrobe. I find it challenging because I don’t have a colour palette that is easily defined as yours. I love print. I also like colour. I’m drawn more to injections of pinks, reds and deep mauve. Maybe a good challenge would be for you to show some basic rules for styling prints: mixing them and mixing them with different fabric textures. Like a satin floral dress and velvet shoes?
Oscar is a superstar! Great video - fun to watch. I tend to gravitate to the same few pieces of jewelry myself. I have tiny wrists, so most bracelets don't fit me well. I have a gold bangle from my childhood that still fits, and a gold cuff my mom found at a thrift shop and passed on to me that I love because it can be adjusted with a just a little squeeze to fit.

Great video! I love everything in my wardrobe. I find it challenging because I don’t have a colour palette that is easily defined as yours. I love print. I also like colour. I’m drawn more to injections of pinks, reds and deep mauve. Maybe a good challenge would be for you to show some basic rules for styling prints: mixing them and mixing them with different fabric textures. Like a satin floral dress and velvet shoes?

Oscar is a superstar! Great video - fun to watch. I tend to gravitate to the same few pieces of jewelry myself. I have tiny wrists, so most bracelets don't fit me well. I have a gold bangle from my childhood that still fits, and a gold cuff my mom found at a thrift shop and passed on to me that I love because it can be adjusted with a just a little squeeze to fit.
