Hey guys! I hope you’re doing absolutely incredible💚 These shopping challenges are honestly my favourite! Thank you for another incredible video, as an Australian these are so interesting to watch💚 Sending love and good energy to you all 💚💚
Hi Family Freedom, I hope you all had a wonderful holiday, thanks for sharing.😍 Very impressive shop, your Home Bargians looks really good in London. Hopefully they all follow suit up here in Scotland lol... I must say i love the Glebe Farm Oat milk and buy it all the time from there Farm, as its made in this Country.🌻🐞
Love connecting with you guys too, thanks for always interacting with us. I always say this (sorry) but I love these type of videos like I love home bargains and B&M, need to go again soon. Bob trying to decipher what’s an “essential” item and Katie and JoJo trying to sneak other stuff in what may be not essential. Looks like you got an “alright” amount for what you paid though there is a lot of variety also but I do have to say (like you said) the Asda looked a lot more and better variety Just keep rising everybody!! #freegang #livebutnotlive #freedomfamily 💚
Oh I would love a shop like HB in Ireland, that shop here would cost double no problem. We don’t have Asda, Morrisons, HB, Farmfoods etc. great video 😊
There are really some very good bargains to be had there! I think you are fortunate in the UK to have not been hit as hard by inflation as we have in California! I enjoy your videos very much! 💕🛒
Great challenge! I think you did really well there. I’m sure you could make a few meals with what you found..but maybe you’d still need to use some ingredients you already have at home to bulk things out.
Another way. We been saving. Living in $30-50 weekly is by planning your main meals & snacks. We write down what we would love to eat that week & all the ingredients. Figure which is on our budget. We do allow one want aka snack bc we don't want to feel limited but yet we know we are. It just makes us feel good & excited to know we get 1 reward.. But literally planning the meals breakfast snack & dinner. We don't normal do lunch. Bc we eat later in the day.. So our snack is like lunch. Do this helps keeps our cost down. We don't forget anything & we are able to plan more healthy meals. Living in a small space as well helps us keep organized. ❤❤Could you guys agree to a weeks planned meals & snacks & stick to it? Its not easy sticking to it lol we sometimes rather the burger & fries over a healthier option that would take longer to could .. But if we do that to much. The food might go bad. So we challenge ourselves to stick to the planned meals. 😊
Hey, thanks for your comment and for sharing your tips and tricks for saving money by effective meal planning, it sounds great and I'm sure it could lots of other people who read it 👍😊 We dip in and out of meal planning, as our plans throughout the week can always change last minute, so we're not always able to stick to them, but when we do it definitely does make things easier 😊
I’ve started planning what I’ll be putting in the freezer already for Christmas time. I usually don’t do it this early, but I want a chilled out Christmas for a change. Have to clear it out first and defrost. But then I’m thinking of doing a big lasagne and a few curries and sticking them in takeaway style storage boxes, some mince pies to freeze early. Cause my family like them fresh, but I don’t want to be stressed.
Love this food shopping video. Something similar by me would probably be a Walmart where they have a food section as well. Would definitely be curious if it was enough food for all of you for the week. I thought the prices were very good.
loved this video... wauw you are so good with budget........... please please do a day/week eating daily dozen from dr Greger. #livebutnotlive from the Netherlands Joyce and Andrew
Im not vegan but i absoutly love linda mcartneys veggie sausages and that is really cheap for them will definitely have a look in my local home bargains for some! Have a great day guys
I work in a cafe and we do a vegan full English and we use the Linda McCartney red onion and rosemary sausages they are even better than the original super tasty!
Be careful to read ingredients lists. Some vegan sausages are encased in calcium chloride; not suitable for digestion. Highly inflammatory apparently! I think they’re the hect sausages that have it.
Hey Katie, Bob and JoJo. Quick question for Katie. I will be making your vegan parmesan cheese tomorrow and just wondering do I store it in the fridge or just in a cupboard?
Hey Annette, that's lovely to hear! All of the ingredients are cupboard ingredients so it probably could be stored in the cupboard, but we do tend to store it in the fridge for extra freshness. Enjoy! 😊
@@FamilyFreedom thankyou. I am going vegan and just finished my first week of vegan meals. Don't feel as "heavy" after eating which I am putting down to not eating any meat. Looking forward to trying lots of meat/dairy free meals
This was great. I'm from Liverpool, so I usually say Home & Bargain, instead of Home Bargains, since it's what it was first called when I was little. I also love the shop in general. It's great to get all kinds from food and drinks (including snacks), to cleaning products and health care products, like hand wash, hair care products to pet care, and even loo roll and tissues. It's also great for gifts and greetings cards as well. I usually get cards for people's birthdays there, plus I have brought some items for presents as well. I once got a back scratcher for my dad for father's day which he appreciated. Also, when I was finishing my second year of college (I did 3 years and studied animal management), I got some stuff from there for my teacher. I had got him a card and a key ring which said 'world's best teacher' on it from card factory, but thought at the time that it wasn't enough. I also got him a key ring with some tools for playing golf, since I knew at the time he liked playing golf (it had a ball marker, a pitch repairer on it, and a mini blade on it). I also found a set consisting of a flannel and 3 little bars of soap shaped like golf balls, so I got him them as well, and he was made up with them. The only problem with the shop (as I'm sure you and everyone else here will agree) is that it's one of the worst shops for going into when you only need a few bits and pieces, and then you end up coming out with a lot more.
Hey Natasha, thanks for your lovely comment! We had no idea that it used to be called Home & Bargains! 👍 It sounds like it has served you well for all kinds of things - it has for us too! And yes you're definitely right, the problem is you come out with more than you planned to get!! 😂 They even sell tote bags that say "I only went in for 1 thing" so clearly they know! 🤣 Have a lovely day 😃
Same cereal prices as some cereals at Aldi 👍🏼 They do fresh food! 😮 wow! “What do you have there?” -“cucumbers”. Proceeds to hold them like light sabers 🤣🤣🤣🤣 classic!
Hi from South Wales! 😊 would you ever visit Caerphilly? I’d love to meet you guys one day. The castle is beautiful, you could also visit St. Fagans which is so fun and good for those who enjoy history.
Hi family freedom hope you are well and having a good day! Live but not live: sitting on the sofa being ill,I felt so ill last night so stayed in today as didn't want to spread my bug to anyone 😂 Bob: is that good? (Beans) Katie: no!😂😂 I've never been to home bargins, looks like a great shop! Have a good day:) Just keep rising 💚🌻🌿
Hey Lana, Hope you are well and having a good day too :) Oh no sorry to hear that you're not feeling too well, we hope you feel better soon!! 💚🌻🌿 Yes Home Bargains is a great shop! They do everything, maybe look on line and see if there is a Home Bargains near you :) Just Keep Rising 💚🌻🌿

Living in Fuerteventura, don't have as much Vegan alternatives but it is definitely getting better. In saying that I rather be as unprocessed as possible and the fruit and veg here is great. 10 minutes from our house we have a huge fruit and veg shop (more like warehouse really) I remember the first time I went into it 5 years ago now, it was like a candy store for me 😊 We pay more than you guys for certain things and not all veg is always available but today I said out loud, oh my God broccoli 😂 as it hadn't been in for possibly 6 weeks, it made me so happy 😊 our cheapest beans are €1.50 😳 they were 69cent before 2020. You guys did an amazing shop.x
Hi you can have a potato and spinach curry one meal Bangs and mash 2nd meal 3rd meal chips and beans 4th meal a taffo kebab meal . 5th meal a pasta bake 6th meal spinach tartlet 7th meal whatever is left over .
First of all this HB is huge. I'm guessing there will hopefully be a taste test coming including the meals you made and how many days this shop lasted you. I've tried some bit's from the Asda essentials range and I was more or less happy with the results.
I love going to B&M and getting some food supplies, they have good snacks and drinks that are quite difficult to find in other places. They also do good deals on the tinned foods and noodles, ect. We have one in the same place as our local Asda, so we tend to stop in at B&M first, then get the remainder at Asda. I’m also obsessed with the toy and craft isle. Definitely couldn’t do this in NZ . Just done a weekly shop ( 7 days) for two adults at PnS, it was $NZ 247:80 that didn’t include cleaning products, Alcohol or toiletries.
We have two supermarket chains here who charge us above and beyond for food .. even the basics are expensive We finally got a costco in west auckland, its so far the only one in nz With the cost of living rising around the world, everything here is expensive Looking forward to next year (hopefully) we will be back in england holidaying and seeing more of your wonderful country . ❤️❤️❤️to you all
Good morning and thanks for sharing this you got pretty good stuff for your money that last me longer with just me 💖 I don't think we have a store like that here 🤔 close by prices went up 😔 take care and Just Keep Rising 💚☝️💯
WOW! I am on a large island in Western Canada and our prices are nowhere near those, even on sales and reductions. I mentally added up sale prices for everything you bought and probably would have landed near $100 Canadian, which is like 60Pounds. (And I eat mostly vegan myself) Beans are $2+ a can, Vegan sausages $5+, vegan cheese $4.50+
Wow, such a difference in price. It's interesting to know how different it is in another country like Canada. We'd love to visit the country one day 👍🇨🇦
Can you say what meals you would make with that food? I can see three, jp, beans salad, sausages sweet potato fries and salad, onion rings , potato wedges and salad. Couldn’t see anything to make a tomato pasta sauce, what do you do with the lentils and rice? Genuinely interested 😊
Hi guys omg no way in the world could you buy 30 pounds worth of food here in Australia $30 would only get you 4 things a loaf of bread is $4:50 an vegan food is more expensive over here love you guys keep rising guys love from Sydney Australia xxx
I think that’s why some people have started dumpster diving globally. Those videos are interesting, it’s shocking what companies throw away these days instead of giving to charity/the homeless.
@@FamilyFreedom I work for herons and we seem to get alot of vegan items in at incredible prices but it can be hit and miss, there's alot to look through in stores though 👍
Please make a video of Katie current hair length regrowth measurement update since her haircut by Jojo. And also make a video of Katie let's Jojo tie her long hair in bun ponytail and single braid.
Just remember driving to shop to shop to try and save doesn't mean you are saving you use that in petrol actually driving to shops so it doesn't actually work out if you have to drive shop to shop to try and get a bargain it can actually cost you more
Hey, thanks for your comment. You're right, the cost of petrol if driving between stores definitely has to be factored in when it comes to potential money saving
I love ❤️ home bargains my husband goes twice a week and also did you know home bargains have a delivery service for flowers? I was told about it and Google it and now I order my flowers from home bargains for gifts to friends and family and they are brilliant value for your money…I buy my food items from home bargains especially bacon sausage ECT I love ❤️ your haul’s

Thanks for your comment Peggy, it's really interesting to hear how different prices are there!!! 😮🇦🇺
I think that’s why some people have started dumpster diving globally. Those videos are interesting, it’s shocking what companies throw away these days instead of giving to charity/the homeless.
I feel u needed a pasta sauce or something for the pasta and a curry for the rice x😊
You're right! We definitely needed something like that 🙂

Nice!! Big love all the way from the UK :))
