Thank you for playing my favorite by the Righteous Brothers. I'm 73 yrs old and watched Bobby sing this song in 1965 on the Andy Williams show. He owns this song. No one has song it better. RIP Bobby. We miss you!!! ❤❤❤

At the ending of the song Bobby went up to a *C and then a HIGH C* which gives him a SIX octave range.

What a touching tribute you give to the Righteous Brothers, especially Bobby Hatfield, who does such a memorable rendition of "Unchained Melody." Very nice introduction, RT!

It's called "blue-eyed soul". This song is from the 1955 movie "Unchained". It is sang from the viewpoint of convict Steve Davitt, who wonders if his wife, and family will be there, still, waiting for him when he is released. It has been covered by over 500 artists, including Elvis. Unchained Melody is widely considered Bobby Hatfield's song, because of this performance!
    “Information is not knowledge.
    Knowledge is not wisdom.
    Wisdom is not truth.
    Truth is not beauty.
    Beauty is not love.
    Love is not music.
    Music is THE BEST.”

Loved yr expression of being so well pleased. Bobby is one of the greatest singers ever and this song is one of the greatest ever. When he's in partner with Bill Medley they had great songs You lost that Loving Feeling, Soul and Inspiration, For once in my Life and more. The Nightime. Is the Right Time is terrific. Best success on yr channel

The great Bobby Hatfield (RIP) owned this song after this performance! This was my first time on your channel, and I look forward to seeing more reactions. You said I could suggest a song, so how about "Love Of My Life" by Queen from Wembley Stadium, 1986? Best of luck to you in growing your channel!

Hard to believe from watching this that Bobby threw up before these performances from stage fright. Sadly Bobby died from cocaine abuse but he always managed to pull himself together to perform for us
