Smilodon: **bites Titanis**
Titanis: **shakes it off** " So you have chosen, *death* ".
Accurate I'd say and horrifying😨
@@MegaRaptorEN Exactly! 😈
nah titanis would just die immediately
@@jeanneslepeshau From a single bite? Unlikely...
It'd have to be an effective bite around the neck-sector of the Terror-Bird
I'm not convinced that they used the hook on their beaks to kill like that. Modern raptors don't do that - they use their hook to rip the meat off. Great video!
Thank You
You make a good point, since there are I believe no modern analogs for giant flightless avians for this killing technique.
However, It has always been a challenge judging hunting strategies of extinct species, so it's not certain that Titanis and it's fellow wouldn't use the break in this way. We will have to hope to find more marks of Terror Bird beaks on prey first
@MegaRaptorEN the marks could just be from eating, tho. It would be a difference of scrape marks vs puncture marks. If they're eating small horses, I think they'd just run them down or ambush them and then just pin them down with their feet and start eating. I don't think there's a definitive "death blow." Raptors eat their prey alive.
Big angry killer chickens
There are more birds than just chickens your aware of that right
@@robertjackson1813 yep
@@robertjackson1813 The beak transforms them into pecking machines or pecking demons for that matter, That's why Killer chickens seems plausible to me
Chickens:BAWK BAWK bug angry killer chickens:BAAAAAAAAWK AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA(ten thousand years later)AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
I don't exactly get the reference
The terror birds are prob my fave cenizoic predators.
I detect good taste here
Now that I think about it Terror birds are the perfect name to describe them
@@Jwfan360 They would make for great nightmares💀
@@MegaRaptorEN I've had nightmares about Jurassic Park velociraptors chasing me and killing me (on multiple occasions)
For me Disney's Carnotaur did kill me in two different dreams, or atl those i can remember
Normally you dream every night, but most dreams you can't see nor remember, except you train for it or you're a natural lucid dreamer
terror birda are prolly my fave prehistoric birds , i wish they got more recognition in paleo media (and not as smilodon punching bags, looking at you life on our planet)
You posess good taste in selecting favorite prehistoric animals.
(One the other hand, I have a hard time choosing between Terror Birds and Teratorns (I think I might go we with the Teratorns, since the ability or glide is still cool af:)
That LooP appearance also gets on my nerve indeed.
shoebill is terrorbird?
Nope, cause Terror Birds a.k.a Phorusrhacids are all extinct.
Why do the recent uploads have creatures with epic names?
@@loisthevelociraptor5401 Cause people voted most of them in the Community Tab and Titanis was my choice. MR also wants to finally get fully monetized
Excellent!
Thank You💪💪
First
So? You’re not getting a medal
@@MGMDude2-43 I just sent 10 titanis to your current location ☺️
@@Jwfan360 Yikes!
Good luck surviving the Titanis gang dude😆
Haha, I've seen the video before though so I'm first😆
So if/when I make my own Paleo-Doc, should I just let two predators end in a draw? Like Spino & Carchy did in Planet Dinosaur?
Okay I know in that example Spino won the fight but died later, my point being both parties survived the actual fight. And the fight wasn't long and drawn out or done with intent to kill
Perhaps that's the right way yh
No we want the terror bird win!
Fair enough🤣
@@sumirsookdeo9443 the terror bird won in "Prehistoric Predators". Keep in mind that one is the more respected documentary than the counterpart "Mega Beasts"
