  • Start up and ride aboard Ex-Translink Vancouver Regional Transit System 1995 New Flyer Industries model C40 no. 3270 which was later purchased by Pacific Western Transportation in Alberta to work in the Southland Transportation fleet. Later, this bus would be transferred to the Red Arrow Motor Coach fleet for use on the Spruce Meadows LRT shuttle service until it's retirement in 2022. This bus is now privately owned and preserved. drivetrain is the Detroit Diesel Series 50 four stroke diesel engine and the Allison World B400R5 transmission.

    I'm so happy this thing was saved, I grew up taking them on the North Shore. I was losing hope when I heard someone say there was a frame issue. Too bad it will probably never be in Vancouver again though

    I wish that New flyer didn’t discontinued New flyer D40 in 1994 is too soon.
    New flyer should have discontinued New flyer D40 along with the rest of new flyer HF Family
    Like c40,D35,D60 idk about E40&60 but other than that yeah new flyer should have done
