I went to take my ged math yesterday it was my last one to get my ged I failed by 2 points it has so many of these slope questions and not alot of different type mostly these my advice is study on these more becuase I studied everything else algebra, graphs, and mode mean ect and nothing I studied for was on my test. I will retry soon but this is so confusing to me 😔
I also failed by two points and cried the whole day, even called to see if they could wave the points because my connection was messing up on the last 4 questions.
I kind of wish that the guy used a better metaphor, like "roll a ball down a hill" instead of run down a hill. I mean, the video's great but it's really distracting when I watch it because I keep thinking that guy 2 would not run down a hill faster than guy one, he'd fall and break his neck because the hill is too steep. It's the omelet example all over again (no, throwing three ingredients together on the stove isn't how you make anything, there's a Process). I'm probably being nitpicky since I'm a bit literal-minded. Really appreciate everything Test Prep Champions has done, tho,

I serious! I guess I will stay stupid for the rest of my natural born life. My goal in life was to get my GED before I pass away. But the looks of it- I won’t. Nothing ever sounds easy to understand. Idk if the have the GED for ppl with learning disabilities like ADD , ADHD. I’m a woman of a particular age and I had taken it before the changed and I think I had scored ok. I believe it was like 1990. Something like that and the passing at the time was 2220. I know I’m off with the numbers because it’s been long but it’s so frustrating
Wow Sorry To Hear That But RLA , Science, Social Studies You Basically Don't Need To Study It's Basically Reading From The Paragraphs And Answer The Questions . Go To Ged.com And Take A Ged Ready Its Basically Questions That Gonna Be On The Test And Search Up "David Cohen" Hes Great He Did A Math Review And Everything He Went Over Was On My Test You Have To Make A 145 You Can Do This
if you are having a hard time with math maybe consider a tutor. Thats what i did, i didnt know anything and would freeze when i did my first practice test.
I felt the same way when I attempted to get my GED in 2013. I failed the math ,but passed everything else. I went home and cried like a baby to my kid's bcos I just knew I passed! I scored a 390 and needed a 410! You needed total of 2250 then and I had 2260,but failed two of the math parts. It was 3 math parts then. After all this time I am now attempting again bcos this is my dream to achieve before I die as well. I am going to take my math exam Wednesday 6/15/2022 so i found this channel and tapped in! I won't give up and let math conquer me, I am going to conquer math and you can too! DON'T GIVE UP! WE CAN DO THIS!!

I failed aswell by two points and it was the slopes that got me. There was way to many!

You are so right. The test is full of slope questions more than anything.
I also failed by 2 points.. Twice!😒I thought is was fractions but it was clearly slopes. I just cant get it😮💨

So it doesn't matter which of the points you choose at all?
Nope, it doesn't. You can use any two points on the same line, and you'll get the same answer for your slope calculation.

why you change the negative answer to a positive answer? I got everything except that, thanks for the help
when you have a negative fraction like -5/-3, the two negatives cancel each other out and make a positive, hence 5/3
