As a single mom who can't afford tutoring or transportation. I respect and appreciate you so much. I'm trying to teach my son how important education is and give him a better life. Thankyou, truly.
The power is within you mindset you can accomplish anything with that. Ok be more focus on helping my boy to get good good grades. And focus on studying other thing. But I been neglected to get to this education. My problem is using the calculator on the math test. I get a good score on the rest but the calculator kills my score.

For years I have had to work jobs I hate but I was always like "Okay.This is fine.I can work a job I hate.I'm tough." But I'm on my last limb and I'm sick and tired of having to work places I hate because I don't have a diploma. I'm so exhausted mentally and my little brother doesn't respect me because I'm a loser in life. And people loooooove to ask "What year did you graduate?"
I’m knocking out my math ged this week very confident only studied the basic fractions decimals ratios and just played with the formulas learned the terms E=mc2

Just took my Math test online(cause covid). I passed, thanks to these videos. Honestly, I just went over the UltimateAlgebra videos a couple times. Literally only these videos before taking my test. So thank you! I didn't really use my Kaplan book at all for it, it's easier to learn/memorize seeing someone work through problems rather than a book just spittin' facts.
@@emilyhope9234 Yes, Emily you do get monitored during the entire test, GED online testing is way more strict, You need to come in prepared and ready otherwise one simple mistake can fuck up your whole exam as they will revoke your exam.

I got my GED 2 years ago with High grades and my suggestions are as long as you have confident and basic knowledge for all four subjects go for it! Dont waste anytime doubting yourself.

I came across this because this will be my second time taking the math GED which such so since iam stuck home because of covid and my job is out for the summer i finally had the chance to study and go for it si on June 23rd 2020 i fail my test was sad got a 137 but it believe in myself to get this done so on June 30th i will be taking my test again and will study this until the day comes!!!! wish me luck

I’m taking my math test next week for the second time, I failed with 129 and I’m praying to God this time I will pass. Re-edit I PASS my math test today!!!! I did it , after my third try. I failed yesterday 141 and took it next day , today! And passed exactly with 145 yes the math part is soo hard especially if you been out of school for many years. I just got my ged today! This video covers about 90% of what’s on the test, word problems, percentage, finding x, and triangles. There is a lot of slope questions and fractions as well. This video is helpful!!

A Wise man told me if I wanted to pass Ged math and math was not my best subject learn the basics really well, like adding, subtracting, division, integers, and pre algebra! He said there will be about 50 questions and about 20 of those will be the difficult ones. If you can pass all the other ones you will be fine, so I studied and used his method even if you dont get the geometry study the best you can on the other questions. It worked. I missed some but got alot right. Remember you are allowed to miss some just make sure you dont miss the easier ones.

i find GED Social studies the hardest exam, LIKE OMG, I did my GED social studies exam today and failed by a few points, I was pissed because everything that i learned that would come on the GED social studies exam never even showed up, I watched GED Prep champions is social studies videos for revision and nothing about the constitution, the wars, amendments, laws, the movements, all of the stuff that you get suggested in the GED practice videos on youtube never came to the test, All the GED social studies test were analyzing passages, and then a few graphs, and one propaganda question, I got so pissed because i studied everything really well to the point where i knew that i would do so well on the social studies exam, i spent weeks studying all the topics, and then i find out that half of the social studies test didn't involve anything in most of what i learned. I just don't get it, I followed relied sources that helped me revise for social really well, i spent weeks revising for the topics, and it ended up failing me. i will retake the social studies exam again and hope that i pass, because i am fed up of social studies, and i hate it as a subject, it benefits nothing but failure.

Taking my math test soon, my practice score was an 137 taken last year, it's been a year of non-stop studying for me. I'm 25 and didn't pay attention in math class in particular. A mental health crisis was what caused me to drop out. You got this.
I took all four test today on four hours of sleep. It is crazy long and exhausting to take all at once. I scored 168 in the language, 162 in social studies, 158 in science, and 153 in math. I live in Alabama by the way. I dont know if the testing is different elsewhere. Also keep in mind that I did very little studying for language, science, and social studies. All of the practice tests and practice test videos showed that it all came down to reading comprehension. I focused my time studying algerbra. Language was definitely the easiest for me. It was mainly reading a super long paragraph and answering around 7 based on said paragraph. I think i had to read 4 or 5 of these really long paragraphs. The stories were long and boring. In the end reading comprehension is all you really needed. In the essay, you have to read a really long paragraph that has two arguments. The goal of the essay is to decide who has the better argument based on the facts that are presented. Pulling out information from the essay was easy, but the compiling of information and typing it down in my own words took forever. I'm not a fast typer or good speller so this one was hard to do before the time ran out. Science was a bitch. It had much smaller paragraphs than the language portion, but it was so harder to understand. I felt like a couldn't understand English while reading most of these paragraphs. I almost didn't finish the test in time because I just had such a hard time reading the paragraphs. It seemed to be mainly testing your reading comprehension and knowledge of how to read graphs. It also threw several questions at me that told me to use a calculator. I didnt have a clue on what to calculate so I relied on reading comprehension and critical thinking to guess. Social studies was a lot like language but a little harder. You had to read long paragraph and answer the questions based on the paragraph. You had to read paragraphs from things like presidential speechs and answer questions like "What did president mean from this statement?"or "What can we infer is the presidents standpoint from his speech?" It also talks about the different government branches and what they do. I didnt know which branches did what so I wish I had studied up on the basic government branches and how bills, laws, and acts get passed. I dont remember a ton of questions that dealt with the branches but it definitely would have upped my score if I had know the basics. For math it had a lot word problems, make an algebraic equation from the word problems, solve for x type problems, and graphs. I cant think of anything else about math. Just make sure you understand how to graph, make an algebraic equation, factor, FOIL, fractions, exponents,etc. During testing I would have rather have done another math test than science because your brain didn't turn to absolute mush during math. I am actually surprised I didn't score higher on my math. Just remember to not stress yourself out before the test and not overestimate the test in your head. Im not saying it was an easy test but it definitely wasn't as bad as my mind made it out to be. To all my fellow test anxiety people, I wish you luck! You got this!

I finished high school but was an English credit short so I didn’t get to walk. I regret not making that up. Math is my worst subject but I can usually do it once it clicks and I “get it”. I’m 42 and my son just graduated in May. I’m so proud of him that I want to do this and at least get my GED. I didn’t understand question 17 and I think 25 is 5 hours? Lol. I take my math ged test this week coming . I’m also taking my social test the same day . I failed the social studies twice so this will be my third time . Social studies is my weakest subject . Hope I pass the math and the s.s this week . I understand the problem and how to work it out it just seems when I test I get nervous and my head goes blank like I haven’t learned anything.

God’s Child I didn’t study for the science,math or reading . On science and math I got a 145 and on the reading 155 . Now I did study a little for the social studies and some how I keep failing . All the tests are pretty much common sense . U just got to know what they are asking .
I did homeschool high school diploma 📜 15 years ago. I went to medical field everything was going well, until I was made aware that hat the hospital I was working for was no longer honoring homeschool high school diploma 😞 not only that hospital but all the hospitals are not honoring it anymore... Now I have to get my GED honestly I suck at math/algebra etc. I just don’t get it... Now I’m here trying to understand... 😔

I came across this because this will be my second time taking the math GED which such so since iam stuck home because of covid and my job is out for the summer i finally had the chance to study and go for it si on June 23rd 2020 i fail my test was sad got a 137 but it believe in myself to get this done so on June 30th i will be taking my test again and will study this until the day comes!!!! wish me luck

I PASS my math test today!!!! I did it , after my third try. I failed yesterday 141 and took it next day , today! And passed exactly with 145 yes the math part is soo hard especially if you been out of school for many years. But is not impossible, guys keep trying you will passed too!! I just got my ged today! This video covers about 90% of what’s on the test, word problems, percentage, finding x, and triangles. There is a lot of slope questions and fractions as well. This video is helpful!!

A Wise man told me if I wanted to pass Ged math and math was not my best subject learn the basics really well, like adding, subtracting, division, integers, and pre algebra! He said there will be about 50 questions and about 20 of those will be the difficult ones. If you can pass all the other ones you will be fine, so I studied and used his method even if you dont get the geometry study the best you can on the other questions. It worked. I missed some but got alot right. Remember you are allowed to miss some just make sure you dont miss the easier ones.

i find GED Social studies the hardest exam, LIKE OMG, I did my GED social studies exam today and failed by a few points, I was pissed because everything that i learned that would come on the GED social studies exam never even showed up, I watched GED Prep champions is social studies videos for revision and nothing about the constitution, the wars, amendments, laws, the movements, all of the stuff that you get suggested in the GED practice videos on youtube never came to the test, All the GED social studies test were analyzing passages, and then a few graphs, and one propaganda question, I got so pissed because i studied everything really well to the point where i knew that i would do so well on the social studies exam, i spent weeks studying all the topics, and then i find out that half of the social studies test didn't involve anything in most of what i learned. I just don't get it, I followed relied sources that helped me revise for social really well, i spent weeks revising for the topics, and it ended up failing me. i will retake the social studies exam again and hope that i pass, because i am fed up of social studies, and i hate it as a subject, it benefits nothing but failure.

Just wanted to say I've learned more from this video than I ever have in my schooling lifetime. Taking my last 3 GED tests tomorrow, math being one of them. Math has been the hardest subject to learn ever since taking my GED classes. After watching this, and taking notes, I'm more confident in passing my test tomorrow. I appreciate this video very much! I took all four test today on four hours of sleep. It is crazy long and exhausting to take all at once. I scored 168 in the language, 162 in social studies, 158 in science, and 153 in math. I live in Alabama by the way. I dont know if the testing is different elsewhere.
Also keep in mind that I did very little studying for language, science, and social studies. All of the practice tests and practice test videos showed that it all came down to reading comprehension. I focused my time studying algerbra.
Language was definitely the easiest for me. It was mainly reading a super long paragraph and answering around 7 based on said paragraph. I think i had to read 4 or 5 of these really long paragraphs. The stories were long and boring. In the end reading comprehension is all you really needed.
In the essay, you have to read a really long paragraph that has two arguments. The goal of the essay is to decide who has the better argument based on the facts that are presented. Pulling out information from the essay was easy, but the compiling of information and typing it down in my own words took forever. I'm not a fast typer or good speller so this one was hard to do before the time ran out.
Science was a bitch. It had much smaller paragraphs than the language portion, but it was so harder to understand. I felt like a couldn't understand English while reading most of these paragraphs. I almost didn't finish the test in time because I just had such a hard time reading the paragraphs. It seemed to be mainly testing your reading comprehension and knowledge of how to read graphs. It also threw several questions at me that told me to use a calculator. I didnt have a clue on what to calculate so I relied on reading comprehension and critical thinking to guess.
Social studies was a lot like language but a little harder. You had to read long paragraph and answer the questions based on the paragraph. You had to read paragraphs from things like presidential speechs and answer questions like "What did president mean from this statement?"or "What can we infer is the presidents standpoint from his speech?" It also talks about the different government branches and what they do. I didnt know which branches did what so I wish I had studied up on the basic government branches and how bills, laws, and acts get passed. I dont remember a ton of questions that dealt with the branches but it definitely would have upped my score if I had know the basics.
For math it had a lot word problems, make an algebraic equation from the word problems, solve for x type problems, and graphs. I cant think of anything else about math. Just make sure you understand how to graph, make an algebraic equation, factor, FOIL, fractions, exponents,etc.
During testing I would have rather have done another math test than science because your brain didn't turn to absolute mush during math. I am actually surprised I didn't score higher on my math.
Just remember to not stress yourself out before the test and not overestimate the test in your head. Im not saying it was an easy test but it definitely wasn't as bad as my mind made it out to be. To all my fellow test anxiety people, I wish you luck! You got this!

I finished high school but was an English credit short so I didn’t get to walk. I regret not making that up. Math is my worst subject but I can usually do it once it clicks and I “get it”. I’m 42 and my son just graduated in May. I’m so proud of him that I want to do this and at least get my GED. I didn’t understand question 17 and I think 25 is 5 hours? Lol. Math literally has my number. It’s the only subject I feel incompetent in. Thank you for this video and wish me luck.

I take my math ged test this week coming . I’m also taking my social test the same day . I failed the social studies twice so this will be my third time . Social studies is my weakest subject . Hope I pass the math and the s.s this week . I understand the problem and how to work it out it just seems when I test I get nervous and my head goes blank like I haven’t learned anything.

God’s Child I didn’t study for the science,math or reading . On science and math I got a 145 and on the reading 155 . Now I did study a little for the social studies and some how I keep failing . All the tests are pretty much common sense . U just got to know what they are asking .

I did homeschool high school diploma 📜 15 years ago. I went to medical field everything was going well, until I was made aware that hat the hospital I was working for was no longer honoring homeschool high school diploma 😞 not only that hospital but all the hospitals are not honoring it anymore... Now I have to get my GED honestly I suck at math/algebra etc. I just don’t get it... Now I’m here trying to understand... 😔
