The sound from this keyboard is next level. It's super satisfying! It's not as loud as full size mechanical switches, but you can still hear the clicks.
Linus who earns millions yearly - Uses K70 for years
Me who earns much less - Keeps switching mechanical keyboards like a complete maniac!
Need to consider my life choices...
he's lying he uses a g910+
@@martin1649 That wouldn't make sense as he clearly states in this video that he doesn't like the Romer-G switches. Guess what switch is used by the G910? Romer-G tactile. Also, there's no G910+. There's only the G910.

I find it entertaining that Linus praises this keyboard as much as he does since the switches it has are made by Kailh but with Logitech's branding on them. I recall that in nearly every other video where he reviews a keyboard with Kailh switches in them that he typically writes them off as "cheap clones" and doesn't go any further into them.
Kailh has very much improved over the years.
In the past they _were_ a cheaper Cherry clone, while now they are definitely an equal or better option.
I'm only looking at that legendary Logitech MX518. I still long for the days when mine was not in a landfill...

"microUSB"
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooo!
Their sales will double as soon as USB-C is introduced in both the G915 & G502
Why does is matter? You just charge it sometimes?
@@frontbattles8090 A lot of devices are moving away from micro usb nowadays, for a number of benefits. Having the same cable throughout your devices will make life much simpler. Plus knowing that, you would expect LGs next gen to have it. So it is kind of like moving back a step if you buy it now. Each for their own I guess.
@@JosefHu I know but there are still no real reasons why it would be necessary to have it because 99% of the time you use it wireless anyway..
@@JosefHu so no the sales won't double or they would have introduced it already, in fact nobody except some people like you give a shit about it cause it doesn't change the device at all..

just wanted to say that i saved up and brought one so what ever i said yeh at the time it was expensive but as they say if there is a will there is a way. i got one now, sold my old keyboard and looked at my expenses and what i could save money on and i had money for it
"it's more complicated to implement a USB-C connector"
I'm not a proffesional, but I made a small board with a USB-C port on it, and it takes a whole 2 resistors to add a USB-C port over a Micro-B connector. That's it.

is it just me or is the audio quality absolute garbage on this video. sounds tinny.

Thanks for this video. I literally *had* the exact same Corsair keyboard before my daughter threw up over my entire desk (Lost an MMO mouse too). Seeing someone who had the same tastes I did give this a recommendation helped me pull the trigger on both a TKL and non-TKL tactile.
Immediately searched for a version that includes the numpad. Now I must have the G915.
9:00 Can’t you accomplish adding wireless charging by using a universal MicroUSB QI charging receiver adapter?
I’ve had the g815 which is the full sized wired version of the keyboard and may I say there is no going back after you feel this keyboard man it’s a game changer

The case that this keyboard is the actual Linus keyboard at his home setup says a lot of the 915 TKL (Saw it on one of his last videos). I have this one and I love it.
I opted for the full size clicky myself. I find myself wishing my keyboard tray was slightly wider, but other than that I love it. The funny thing is that even though I went for clicky switches, the low profile actually ends up making them make less overall noise than my cherry reds did before because I was so clacky.
Deal breaker when he said micro usb.
At this price hell f-ing no Logitech.

@@CheapBastard1988 I bought a Logitech M570 wireless trackball off eBay last year, and after about a month, the back and forward keys got stuck, I contacted Logitech tech support via their website, and they where of no help claiming user error, and it's not an uncommon thing with that trackball. If you are looking at getting the white version of this keyboard, it's good to note that the lighting will have to go through transparent black legend instead of the clear legend on the black version. That said the white has black for the legend when the lighting is off so you don't have to use the lighting to see the legend on the keycaps. I'm loving the white over the black a lot more because the lighting does shine brighter on the edges of the keycaps.

Logitech really doesn't stand for quality anymore, they have good features but it lacks in execution. There is a giant subreddit on gaming keyboards with own wiki and brands like Logitech, Corsair and Razer get shitted on continiously because of their bad quality for the expensive pricing. There are brands that offer the same, if not even more for less money. I am just impressed by their Wireless approach
