He was the greatest horse .i use to live near his stable in southport and watch him many times go down to yhe beach in southlort .wonerfull memories ❤❤
He won "ALL" those races when the "Fences" were quite a bit higher, some were 6ft etc.........We all remember "beachers Brook" etc...........made him "true legend"..........in "EVERY" way............never to be taken away. Bless him x x x x
Red Rum was the greatest i loved him five grand national races three WINS and came in second twice what a legend and in his later years a great celebrity RIP Rummy
I saw him a few years after he retired at the Midland Grand National and my friend turned to me and said he'd have this race now if they'd let him run ... he wasn't wrong, looked as fit as a fiddle ... what a legend
This horse really was my hero, I remember my granddad and my nan arguing over who was going to win the grand national, my nan would always win more races every Saturday afternoon, she would pick the names, my granddad would study the form, he said he would eat his hat the last and best race red rum won, and he welshed on the bet.
I'm his biggest fan no one knows him more than me I love him so much r.i.p rest in peace boy who was a great racehorse and I miss him because he's dead and not coming back r.i.p and rest in peace boy who was a great racehorse and I love him so much
A nice tribute to a famous horse - ein berühmtes Pferd! Some of the footage is a bit shocking - where they fall at the hurdle! What about the details of the song? Artist and release date?
The song is from a group called “Christopher Robin Alice and Ted”, released on PYE records in 1979. Produced by Kevin Parrott of “Brian and Michael” fame. My sister was in the group and sang on the record. Also recorded at Strawberry Studios in Stockport, with the drummer from the group 10CC!
1st 1st 2nd 2nd 1st. Not a bad record. Greatest National runner for sure, if not the greatest ever. Arkle perhaps? But it's literally horses for courses innit?
