🟡 Breaking News... Yesterday I reported that Renaker had five towers and a three storey office project, and Lamington a tower hotel project, due for a planning decision this week or next week. It was this week and yesterday all passed. Mcr skyline is bound to change.

Brilliant, the quality is so good but you have to switch to the higher resolution. I've never seen the interior courtyards of the Midland Hotel before, incredible. And the town hall looks amazing still in its wrapping. Familiar locations seen from unfamiliar angles, very enjoyable.

Does the name "Vision" mean anything too you? 🤔 It was a tower to be built on Whitworth Street West facing Axis. It ended up in liquidation but has recently been bought out by a development company with a history of co-operation with Fusion, the student accommodation provider. Fusion have their own plans for a tower at Deansgate South. So the company may go ahead with the original "Vision" project or may seek something different in alliance with Fusion. Something to check out?

Thanks for the update, very calm and colourful. 👍😊 St Michael's Tower, Phase 2, in your shot, has, apparently, the largest ever hole in Mcr, dug for the foundations. It's Relentless. Please note, with Viadux2 seemingly on hold after an objection by English Heritage decisions due this week (or next week at latest) concern the following:- Renaker's 5 towers and office project. 👇 1). Two 51 storey residential towers. 2). One 71 storey residential tower in New Jackson. 3). Two 47 storey residential towers in The Green. 4) A three storey office building. Also Lamington's (37?) storey hotel (alongside and including the derelict Union Bank) in Piccadilly as a "green" hotel.

Great! I worked in the CIS building for about 33 years. I was one of the last people working in it before it closed in 2020. Majority of staff worked at home due to lockdown. Then I moved into the Arndale.

Haha... I went up in the air thinking the seagulls were probably asleep cos its middle of the night but how wrong I was. All i saw was their heads just turn towards the drone and a swarm of them just started to fly. Needless to saay, it went on sports mode and straight away landed it while my colleague was getting dive-bombed lol cos he stood watching what was happening while i legged it inside

Such a familiar location, yet it looks so different from this angle. Great shot when the drone rises quickly and moves backwards. Very dramatic!

Thanks for the film. I remember pre-Arndale when a whole swathe of ancient city centre streets and roads as far as Shudehill were swept away. Plus when the Stock Exchange on nearby Norfolk St was still a functioning stock exchange. During the Jacobite Rebellion Bonnie Prince Charlie stayed on Market Street, on the Northern Side. Plus the River Tib flows under Market St near the junction with High Street.

Manchester in Sun - well I never. Super footage of the city. 😁👍🏻

This was excellent, I watched it all the way to the end. The quality of the images is superb. It's incredible to see all these (to me) very familiar places from theair, you can see things you can't see from the ground. I like the intro and outro words, and the music is very good, it heightenes the drama. There are lots of points where you could do a screen grab and put it on a postcard! That seagull was getting a bit excited about the drone!
