Just a heads up, Mantic is coming out with a Halo miniature game. They said more info is coming in March. Keep a look out for it.

@@FacilityD20 Maybe, but from the sounds of it, it looks like it's ready to hit the market come September this year. Here's hoping.
@@FacilityD20 Straight to retail. No kickstarter. But initially, there won't be much. A starter box centered around the concept of PVP arena stuff. More releases planned after that, but won't be up for order until the first terrain box and starter sets go out to market.
Great video as always. I've never played Halo, however, those are sweet looking Halo mini's. Excellent painting video as well.

If you want to get into the games I'd recommend the Master Cheif Collection as it gives you six games for the cost of one.
Honestly made me so nostalgic. Had some really fun times stealing a ghost back in the day. Used to be able to rack of insane kill streaks with that thing in team slayer. Might print just the ghost to have on my desk…
This whole build gave me some serious nostalgia. Would love to go back to the good old days for a night to play some Halo 2 again.

@@FacilityD20 Indeed, just gotta figure out a quick but effective color scheme that also helps make the Flood models look pretty gross and creepy looking, any suggestions on what paints/colors I could use?
@chasetosh3767 I'm painting some zombies now, Army Painted Nerotic flesh, with a brown, green or Sepia wash, looks decent for something quick.

Just want to say two things. Firstly, these are cool. Secondly, they are perfect for the "xenos rampant" rules from osprey if your looking for sci fi that isnt 40k. Trust me, 20ish pound buy in and only book you need.

Those look awesome! I've been wanting to print some halo stuff out and paint it myself, gotta ask though why do you thin down paint with Windex? never seen anyone use it before so I'm curious what upsides it has

@@FacilityD20 yeah i think about how much fun itd be to have a combined force of marines and tanks and maybe a couple spartans fighting grunts hunters and elites and whatnot and am a little surprised they went with a small scale mostly only spartan game lol.
I enjoyed every bit of the video, but the whole time I kept trying to place your accent and I just couldn't. Is it a mix of multiple, or just one I haven't heard enough of yet?

Was the color that you used for the ghost purple alchemy or hive dweller purple, because purple alchemy is more of a pink color.

I'm the guy that sculpted the digital files for the Halo miniatures in these videos - Fauxhammer's article about the Halo miniatures directed folks to the community STL google drive containing the models that I and other artists sculpted, *not* the community Facebook or Discord groups themselves, resulting in a situation where folks would download the files without knowing where they came from or that they were shared strictly for *personal use only*
After some recent issues of piracy - people selling physical prints, or trying to sell the STL files themselves through fraudulent licensing agreements - the old link has been removed. I am starting to upload my creations to my Cults3D account for free as a more public platform that makes it harder for random people to steal and profit off of, but it's an ongoing process.
