Looks like a practice video. The main thing is: you need is to put little water (Half a cup) along with the bag. The moisture from the water retains the wheat beans moist and doesn't burn.
@@violamoheb5313 I think foam cleaning will help. The best thing is, always use old pillow covers to avoid them getting dirty. If you know little stitching then use an old pillow cover and make the cover for the bag.
Hi Emma, just watched this and am still confused as to what is the way to use them correctly? I always put a bit of water on mine before microwaving, but had no idea about not reheating - I do that a lot! Why is that bad?

Yes that's really good advice
Please advice how to clean them?
There should be washing and cleaning instructions on them
First Aid for Life it says spot cleaning

If you reheat them and they further dry out, you increase the danger of them combusting
U r correct. My elderly neighbour overheated hers and her whole house was smelling of smoke.
Is it possible to use sand or pebbles in the bag instead?
No, wheat or rice will retain the heat far better
I've just visited my autistic son who has burns on his body had to go to hospital it upset me to see him is carers said don't tell Ur mam
I am so sorry to hear this.
After 6 times of heating you should heat it for the seventh time with a cup of water in the microwave. This is to add some moisture to the wheat.
Mine caught on fire and I'm never using them again as I have children in my house
Did you overheat it ??? I still think they are safer than hot water bottles.
