I can't stress enough on why Mercedes just couldn't put on a proper foot rest for the driver seat. Also RM430k for such package feels far inferior from what they have offered in previous generations.
The price is ridiculous even when they CKD this later this year….

I would say no improvement until there is left foot dead pedal. I could not get any comfort driving glc on long journey but ended up with leg cramps and lower back pain. 😢
If that is the case how come people still buy? There are much better alternative like BMW X3
430k is crazy man! Are we going to reach 500k for this class of cars in 5 years time?
430k gets you a brand new BMW X5 45e. In fact, was offered it for 405k including a 5 year warranty, 6 year / 120k service package and a 8 year/ 160k battery warranty. That is a MUCH better buy compared to this. X3 competitor for X5 money, hilarious

CBU Mercs and BMWs always are more refined than CKD ones...try any recon C class and a CKD one...
Actually CKD BMWs ones are more reliable than CKDs Mercedes and also CBUs Mercedes. Even heard from many website that Mercedes is the lowest reliability than Porsche, Audi, BMW and Lexus

how is the refinement and built quality as compared to the NX350? Both are CBU but the Lexus is cheaper by an Axia X and with more features. The Lexus is on par in terms of active safety feature compared to Volvo which is a lot more than the GLC and X3.
Not all are not good for Volvo XC60 and X3. There are also some advantages for X3 and XC60 than the GLC in terms of performance and handling and reliability for X3 while safety for XC60 while both X3 and XC60 have better design compare to GLC.
Good review on the 2023 GLC model. For this high price of RM430K, it's not worth it with too low hybrid power system, no cruise control, sunroof or rear seat control. The way forward is full electric and this petrol driven Merc seems like a dinosaur in no time soon !

Mate, all the things you said weren’t available E.g. sunroof, rear vent controls, rear charging are all options that are available, this specific car you have just doesn’t come with those options, doesn’t mean Mercedes has taken them out
For the Malaysian market, our car specs are all fixed and decided beforehand by their distributors, in this case Mercedes-Benz Malaysia. We can only get a GLC in this exact specs, hence my comments.
With that price. I would go for Porsche Macan
NX or X3 or XC60 better and good quality than this

rm430k for such spec sheet are ridiculous expensive! should have an panoramic glassroof, rear single zone climate ctrl aircond, ventilated front seats instead of heated and Nappa leather interior

Mercedes design is boring. They hardly changed especially the front fascia. No innovation in their design. They put too much attention in their dashboard putting full digitalisation. As usual no car reviewers would not criticised it's design. Don't understand why? Most probably majority of them is biased towards the three pointed star. Or mercedes has some influence on these reviewers.

Cheap quality car, bad aftersales and poor durability even results also tells that mercedes is already downhill for reliability.
Yeah a lot of people still has the old thinking that Merc is more reliable but no more. With their crazy push to full digitalisation on their design things can go wrong quicker than you think and repair can be very expensive. As it is now most buyers are already complaining of expensive repair bills.

X4 is actually comparing with GLC Coupe, not this GLC. X4 is big brother of X3 while GLC Coupe is big brother of GLC

Never buy mercedes at all cost. Spare parts for Mercedes will take even longer to replace spoilt parts, unlike other brands including proton that will take lesser time compare to mercedes. Mercedes is real headache to purchase than any other brands
