  • Watch the 2021 Partial Lunar Eclipse with Lowell Observatory in Flagstaff, Arizona! Starting at 12:15 am on November 19, we'll be showing you live views of the eclipse through our 14" PlaneWave and the portable Vixen refractor. Educators will also discuss the science of eclipses, the best ways to view them, Lowell's history with the Moon, and much more!

    Beautiful lunar eclipse in Woodbridge Virginia...the clouds and temperatures made it a pleasure to witness this historic event. Pure magic! I was even blessed to see a shooting star ☄ I simply love this🌕🌓🌚

    It was too cloudy here in upstate NY to see the lunar eclipse, so thank you for filming this, I HAD been really bummed that I couldn't see it myself!

    Thanks so much for doing this. I was in Folly Beach a month ago and watched the moon clearly over the ocean all night long. Much colder at home now and the view not as clear so again, my thanks to you for doing this for all of us.

    Just wondering...my boyfriend who lives an hour behind me in Iowa seems to be observing the same thing at the same time as me in Virginia. How is this explained? Also, how is lunar observatin different with the time change alongside sunrise? Very curious
