Thoudah A I got ABC. I’m a bit disappointed with the C as I worked very hard but I’m still fairly happy overall. But I sent it for a remark so it might go up to a B.

I will never understand how people get straight A's in A Levels! It was so hard for me and I worked really hard and truly felt like I knew enough to even get an A but I could never pass a C in my mocks and that's what I ended up with in the end! Forever gutted but I will stay positive and continue to strive for my career goals.

I understand cause thats what happened to me in AS. I was really disappointed in myself and so I’m hoping to get much better grades in A-Levels
You have to understand, unless there is some really good motivation for studying, you cannot be like, ok today I studied only 30 minutes and tomorrow I will study 12 hours non stop.It is a gradual process.These people are getting good grades from class 5 or so, so their endurance have already been developed to a point, that now they do not even stress over studying it's just muscle memory.For example I stopped studying hard at probably class 7 or 8 and after that it's just been my habit to not study.Recently I have been able to improve my endurance and now I can study around 4-6 hours easily a day.So even if it's very hard for you, appreciate the effort you put in because you are a beginner compared to straight A students and you are still doing so good.

OMG congrats! I am doing the same exact subjects and going into year 13, I would HIGHLY appreciate a detailed video about how you revised for all 3 subjects, like how you made your flashcards, which books you used and ways of remembering everything.
who knew biology was such a scientific subject
Shmalfie i think she means that for science subjects the marking is very unambiguous so it’s less likely her mark would change unlike something like english where it can depend on the examiner in some cases
She means it's unlikely to change as there are merely set answers, whereas subjects like English can really depend on the marker.

M Hussain na it’s just questions that I kinda knew how to do I just choked it in the exam and could do it straight after. Literally left a 12 mark differential equation blank.

What are you studying now
I am in year 11 now and I am considering chem for alevel along with bio and eng lit, but I don't completely love the subject. Do you think I should push myself through the alevel or is it too difficult. xx
Would you recommend doing an EPQ? Does it help you in any way with ucas and everything and can you say you got A*A*AA because of the epq or not?
Also would you recommend a hopeful medic to do an EPq or a fourth a level
i wouldn't really say that i got a*a*aa as an epq is equivalent to half an a level really and i would say it can be worth it as some universities give you a lower offer of grades if you do epq e.g. my liverpool offer was ABB or ABC if i got an A in epq. I think its worthwhile for some courses and some not but even if it doesn't lower the grade requirements it is still a good qualification and its taught/completed with a lot more independent work an an a level which i think looks impressive x
im not sure all i know is four a levels is a lot of extra work! ask you school :)
I would recommend an epq for sure but you dont really need it to stand out, all medical/dental schools want are ur 3 a levels and thats it
