Like if you have hobbies like sports and wish to put that in to show how "busy you are in a way" then make sure you link it back to why it contributes to Ur passion for the course. Cos that's what they want, students who desire and have a passion for their courses.
Congrats! It's crazy that we did the exact same subjects and got very similar grades! I also got A*AB but I got A* in DT, A in economics and B in maths. Glad you made it to bath x

Beth Hood Heyy! As far as the application process goes it's the same with all unis- make sure you don't leave it until the last minute and everything will be fine! I wouldn't stress too much about personal statement either. Just make sure it's comprehensive and contains relevant topics, but don't mention the book 'freakinomics'- everyone does and they get tired of it! Basically, if you have decent predicted grades and your personal statement is good you'll most likely get an offer! :))) x
i got into bath uni too !!! it was my insurance, kings college was my firm, but eventually decided over the summer i wanna move out of london, plus researched bath and my course there, turns out its a much better uni and the course is more tailored to my preferences than @kings. really scared about moving out tho, never even left london before (except 4 hols) so shitting bricks, but should be alright i guess. again, amazing grades!

D&T is so messed up this year because of the new spec. Wouldn't worry! My coursework was marked at 106/120, then it went through moderation and went to 87/120.. which is a massive drop. Was super upset, but I think the exam boards haven't been very clear on what they want.
Ahh that’s so annoying :( but yeah that makes sense cuz everyone I have spoken to has been surprised with their DT grade. The exam board didn’t give enough information or guidance!
Only thing you can do is have a back up plan. Write down all the numbers you can call for clearing and try for every uni you’d be happy to go to. Or plan a gap year / exam retakes 💗

I personally didn’t find economics very difficult at A level, it’s quite straight forward once you’ve learned the main theories, I know it will be harder at uni though. I found maths hard, but this was unrelated to economics so I don’t think it’s too hard doing both the subjects together. I’ve heard business is quite straight forward too. Advice would be for economics to make sure you know the basics from first year really well and off by heart because you need it to understand the harder stuff x

Do you mean Bath uni? No! It only offers science/maths/sports/social sciences there are no arts at the Uni of Bath so you can’t do English, journalism, drama, art they are not offered here! Look up the top unis for journalism there will be a ranking online! 💗

@@dazmillons1998 ahhhh that makes more sense, in Northern Ireland our academic year is 1st September to 31st of June, anyone born after the 1st of July is in the year below if that makes sense. And although England have more months than us, we have more years as it is standard in NI to go from Year One in primary school to year 7 and then in highschool from year 8 to year 14

@@miaalicex I applied for a course called Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, and Events Management with Modern Foreign Languages (quite a mouthful I know haha). It was very difficult to find and although I had the grades required I honestly think the reason I didn't get in was due to my WBQ qualification. I haven't watched many of your videos so I don't know if you're familiar with it but it's a compulsory A Level in Wales. Sadly many Unis don't recognise it. So after dropping maths after my first year (I was shit I has a D lol) that only left me with my two languages. And most Unis ask for 3... You did amazing as well! I could never have done those subjects haha, and opening those on your birthday too 😊 x

M H yeah the teachers set mixed exercise questions as homework’s throughout the year so I just did the homework’s and then they gave us past papers like a month before exams so I just did some of them over 4 weeks whenever x
