    If the base with the three tabs are removable you can put the LED through the rubber boot then put the base back on. Might be hard to put the retaining arm in position but once done you can cover the opening with the boot.

      @@jamesbrennan5457 yep. 😐 I learned that late and should have read the instructions. 😔 I'm running different LEDs now and that's how I did it.

    hey. you do not need to modify the boot. the headlight bulbs have that removable retaining clip the seats inside the headlight housing. just twist an pull. I bought a set of H6 6000k LED lights that are the same style as one with heat sink + fan and they are white. Note: remove the light retaining clip first when installing, place the 3 tab clip inside the headlight assembly and secure it with the aluminum fastener. then install the rubber boot followed by the LED light. push it in and twist. i hope this information help you for future plans. enjoy 💯

    I have found out that Morimoto and GTR lighting makes some of the best LED headlight bulbs IMO. Morimoto makes a kit that produces a pure white LED light at around 5700K, while most of your typical LED kits produce 6000K-6500K. To me personally, I like the 5000K-5700K range. I'm not a big fan of the bluish white that the 6000K produces. That's just me. Thanks for informative video sir.

    Appreciate this video. My leds were installed and the right headlight aggressively points high and to the left causing a lot of angry highbeams at me. Definitely gonna take some time to adjust them tomorrow 🍻

    Just got some LEDs for my headlights and to be honest they dont do much. Probably better off with a set of HIDs with 55 watt ballasts because 35 watt ballasts arent great either. But they are better than LEDs. HIDs are the way to go if you want visibility. Just be sure to get 6000k which is a bright white color. Blue lights only relfect well but isnt good for visibility. I learned that the hard way.

    I think you can try to 3d print the booth with TPU materials :)

    Hi. Cool video. By the way, where did you get the body stripe? Is it an oem sticker?

    • @MaqsVids
      @MaqsVids  2 года назад

      Thanks! It's an OEM stripe. When/If I get it painted, it will probably be gone.
