Premium outlets downtown for some really good shopping. Chinatown, Aria or Palazzo for legit food and of course night strip views from the highest floor from whatever resort you stay at.
I love how casinos in Vegas smell; each resort has it's own smell and i always wondered if i could get that perfume for my house. I did some research and it turns out there is a single company that creates the specific smells for the casino resorts and you can get small bottles of parfume for your defuser at home and you can make your room smell like Bellagion, Linq, Mirage...etc. It's called Aroma Retail and they have a shop close to the strip. That is one of my fav places to go visit and get some stuff for home everytime i go to Vegas.
I love the smell of the Bellagio!!! I remember when my parents took me as a kid and it was the only one that I remembered and loved. Still smells amazing and I’m going to take the scent home when I go next
Wow! Great tid bit! Thank you for the comment! I recently stayed at Mandalay Bay in the lobby smells so delicious, had a light honeysuckle smell. I’ll be heading to the website to see if I can find the fragrance!!
Thanks for another great video. If you like nature, Vegas has world-class climbing and hiking in Red Rock. Coming from Chicago, Vegas is also the best staging point to reach national parks of the west. It is just a few hours away from Zion, Grand Canyon, Death Valley (lowest point of lower 48), Mt. Whitney (highest point of lower 48), King's Canyon, Yosemite, and Joshua Tree. And you can treat yourself with a 5-star hotel and great restaurants after a week of hark hike or climb!
Thank you. You are helping so many others enjoy their time there and not just leave broke and disappointed. I saw some other of your videos, they are very good and helpful. Way to go, walk each day,, you will see why.
For the Wynn Lake of Dreams Show, there is an outdoor place to watch the show next to the check-in desk. It has tables and a small bar, but you are not required to buy drinks. There are also heaters for cooler nights.

I’ve been to Vega 35 times. The recommendations are excellent and very good for a first timer or someone who has been only a few times to Vegas. You can only do so much and there are thousands of things to see and do. The one thing that I feel was left out of this quintessential list of must do’s is…….. go to the top of the Strat!!!! That is a must do and also a unforgettable dinner experience. Or, if you don’t do dinner there is a bar on level 108 just above the restaurant. Add this to the list. Again, this is a great list and you won’t go wrong. Cheers.
The Neon Museum is one of the coolest, most unique museums I have ever been to and I recommend it to anyone who goes to Vegas! I can't wait to go back!
Hello...a new fan of your videos here...and would love to give you a suggestion on an underratted activity that includes food and music. That would be having a meal at Bootlegger Bistro which is just past the LV sign.....great Italian food and not that tough on the pocket book. Now you need to go there strictly on Monday Nights because after your meal, at 7:30 in the Copa Room which is adjacent to the Bootlegger is a showroom that features Santa Fe and the Fat City Horns. This is 15 of the top musicians in Vegas who gather only on Monday nights to perform a 90 minute show. You can just do the Santa Fe show but if you dine at Bootlegger you can get reserved seating if you tell them that you are doing the show after your meal. We plan our Vegas trips around Monday nights. Trust me...after hearing this band you will to!! and sometimes you have top flight entertainers who frequent the Santa Fe shows. and many times they will perform with the band. I would love to hear your review of both the Bootlegger and Santa Fe band.
Grab that 1/2 yard at Fat Tuesday and sip it while you wait for/watch the Volcano show at the Mirage. Ruby forgot to mention that Fat Tuesday locations can be found all up and down the Strip.
I was in Vegas last year and I just can’t wait to go back someday next year. Thank you for this and definitely missed alot of opportunity. Def, gonna try all these! 😍💕
We like to go to Peppermill for breakfast. There is usually a wait so we get on the list then go into the Fireside Lounge and get a mimosa and sit in the firepit for awhile until they call us. Best breakfast in Vegas also!
We had fun driving out to Red Rock with a box of Crispy Cream donuts and exploring around. We saw Chumley at Pawn Stars. I flew a helicopter out of an airport North West of the strip area. There are a ton of things to do along side of the malls restaurants and casinos on the strip and Fremont Street. I'm glad you mentioned the birds at the Flamingo, we love that park. Love the Peppermill. We once walked there from The Jockey Club (By the Cosmopolitan) for brunch and bloody marys. That was a long walk. Love Vegas. We were swimming at Desert Club Resort on Thanksgiving Day one year. Thanks Ruby!
the few restaurants I have been to in Las Vegas, Bouchon in the Venetian has been my favorite(I've gone for dinner and brunch). I also have gone to the one in Yountville, Ca(across the street from the French Laundry)
At the end of Fremont Street down by Denny's there is a fantastic area that has a ton of old neon signs. Very cool stuff and just north about a mile is a neon museum..
@@johnnyboots481 Don't know. All I know is the Foundation Room is on the TOP floor of the Mandalay Bay affording what is arguably the BEST view of Las Vegas in town. Spectacular. Only Voodoo Lounge (at Rio) could rival it but that was a panoramic view. Hope that doesn't close down for good.
my sig-o and i just got back from vegas for the first time since 2016! thank you for your recs! we went to secret pizza, picasso, and peppermill! all great! a friend is headed there soon (for the first time!) and i am sending your videos to him as well :) you can show and articulate far better than i can in an email!!!
I thought for sure you would recommend the Golden Tiki. It’s a new must see for me for every visit. It’s just off the strip and worth the Uber ride. You can only get a reserved booth for two hours but again so worth it. We had a group of 7 and it was one of the funnest activities on our trip.
One of best attractions - is the Venetian Gondola Ride, as it is one (maybe the only one) where you can sit down and enjoy 15 minutes and rest your feet after all that walking. You also get a lullaby sung to you and a good view of either indoors on the canal - or outside on the pond, highly recommend the Gondolas at the Venetian.
Definitely liked your video it was to the point and very helpful. Another thing people should also see which is on Fremont is the container Park at night time they have a giant praying mantis that shoots fire out of its antennas. Also the Las Vegas museum is cheap has a lot of cool things in it and kids love it.
Lol...So cute about In n Out. I’m from So Cal and there is no novelty BUT if you are in Orange County and are over In N Out, go , RUN to a TK’s Burgers and get the ‘big bargain special’ and ask for the ‘sauce’ with your fries!!!!! Hands down the best burger AND fries you will ever have! There is my recommendation for you all 😀😀😀
I just ran into your videos today. You have helped me out a lot for my upcoming trip to Vegas. Taking my son and his friends to celebrate his 21st birthday. Do you have a video of maybe fun Clubs? Clubs on the strip. Thank you!!
Great List Ruby! I think this is perfect for those 1st timers heading to Vegas. Definitely need to try Lago! Also maybe do a part 2 and include some honourable mentions like Hell's Kitchen & The Miracle Mille shops at Planet Hollywood. Stay safe & Stay silly.
How about Tacos el Gordo, my friend and I went there in April 2019 and it was delicious, they serve authentic Mexican tacos, they do not put cheese on their tacos, and they serve any style of meat, pork, beef and lingua which is beef toungue
We went to the Pinball Hall of Fame. It brought back slot of childhood memories for my husband. Free to get in then you can play the machines. It does cost to play the machines.
The In-N-Out sauce (called spread) is on both the Animal Style Double-Double and the regular one. The Animal Style comes with pickles and diced grilled onions instead of sliced raw onions and the burgers are grilled in mustard. You can ask for extra packets of 'spread' and yellow peppers too! I never go to In-N-Out in Vegas because I have 2 near my house in California (+another off the freeway)
Do you have a Vegas fine dining video? Celebrating a special occasion there very soon. Considering SW, Mayfair, Jean Georges, Prime, Cut, Delmonico’s, Bavette.
thanks for all these videos jim attempting to plan our very first trip to las vegas for late celebration of my husbands 50th birthday. I have been to Reno when my brother lived there but stopping at vegas airport is the closest i got. Thanks for all the hotel and food reviews will help us a lot.
Ri Ra is our favorite place. Great food, drinks, ambiance and nightly free live Irish music… Oak & Ivy in container park (order a “trust fall”). Tapas brunch at Mandalay Bay. Walk through Encore and Venetian. Flights in miracle mile (cheap drink flights). Beer Park at Paris (overlooks fountain).
Excellent advice Ruby! You picked a very good selection of things to do in Vegas. I haven't been to Peppermill yet, so I'm going there for sure next time. If people follow your advice, they will have a great time in Las Vegas!
Have you done a Speakeasy video yet? Watching one from Jorge, and I think Norma had one too. They are really cool looking, would love your take on them if you can work it in some day.
Animal sauce is called spread. Animal style burger includes pickles and I believe grilled onions. Animal style fries include melted cheese, spread, and grilled onions. Personally I order my fries normal and ask for packs of spread on the side! Thanks for the recommendations!!

We always go see Love at the Mirage eat at the Hard Rock on the strip & senior frogs lol just nice to sit outside enjoy the view. Walk the strip watch all the interesting people we don’t look as out of place in Vegas as we do here in Buffalo New York lol. Great video.
This is my favorite channel🍿Ruby you should be on TV,📺🎤you are a star ⭐️ I think I am half way through watching all your videos 😀 I’d like to know if Ballys still offer their famous seafood 🦞 buffet?
My favorite thing to do isn't there anymore. It was Donn Arden's Jubilee! It ran Saturdays to Thursdays. I also enjoy gambling and eating White Castle sliders. Because I live in California there isn't any White Castle restaurants around. We just have IN N Outs McDonald's Burger Kings and Carl's Juniors. The only place you can find White Castle sliders is in the grocery store freezers
Thank you so much for your videos. If you had to advise, how much do you think would be a good daily budget for spending, food and entertainment (aside from the big shows)
Funny the first 4 things she said we did all those when we visited. She didn't mention Gondola rides at the Venetian though, or the Zip Line on Fremont St.

The outlet Mall at the state line is over half empty. I doubt it’s long for this world.

Tacos el pastor between fremont and the strip I've never eaten tacos like there in my 40 yrs of existence A MUST!

A little buzz?? lol yeah right, I was so drunk on Fat Tuesdays I thought a homeless man was Jesus
I can only drink half of the smallest cup, the one for $10. I have to throw the remaining 1/2 away as I'm already too tipsy just with half the cup.
