Campershell lift for my shop FINALLY

The parts I bought to be able to do all of this cost about 150 bucks. This is a very easy way to remove and reinstall your truck shell. Makes it safe and easy as long as you halfway know what you're doing.

The only problem I see is when you put it back on the truck. But if your not worried about a new foam seal then it looks pretty good to me.

I usually stick a new foam seal on it whenever I put it back on. It’s not real expensive and when you keep the campershell on for months at a time, the old one compresses down really skinny.

counter bore the nut side 1/2" or so that wasy they don't ding up yer truck. speaking for a friend.

If only I had that advice before this video lol. When it picked up it definitely tapped into the side of the bed but it was right next to where the campershell rubbed through the paint into the aluminum anyway so I wasn’t too beat up about it. That’s great advice though.
