Nicely done. When you need to repair plastics, take a look at the Hot Staple Gun and also, some have plastic welding tips or a separate chisel tipped handle. you can also use a wide chisel bit soldering tip tool to smooth the plastic after inserting the staples. I fixed my lazy Susan bottom shelf that had split from the edge towards the center using the hot staple gun. There are many videos showing how to repair plastics. I suggest to everyone to take a look at how this tool works and next time you need to repair plastics, stop, don't just use glues, get this tool and a bag of staples in various shapes, flat, wave, inside corner and outside corner in 0.6mm and 0.8mm thickness. You won't be sorry. I fixed a long crack down the center of the hood of my John Deere Garden tractor using the wave staples, about twenty-five of them, it was a really long crack and now it just looks like a barely noticeable scratch down the hood. You will find yourself looking for more plastic parts that you can fix, it's that easy and inexpensive to make solid, stronger repairs that add structural support to prevent the crack from expanding. Tip: a good repair is 99% preparation and 1% finish. Make the seam tight using either clamps, tape, making a mold from clay for curved plastics or a combo of what works for that job. I even use a super glue gel or liquid to temporarily hold small pieces together before I put them on a flat surface prior to inserting the hot staples. Always work on the side that won't be visible. When you're heating the staple, cycle the power on and off with the finger trigger to control the heat and not melt the plastic too quickly. You don't want to apply heavy pressure either, you'll push the staple right through and out the opposite side of the plastic piece. Be careful clipping the wire ends off. Use protective eye wear, grip the wire tightly with needle nose or pliers that hold the fine wire tightly before snipping as close to the work surface as possible. Don't let those tiny wire pieces hit the ground or floor, they will end up in someone or a pet's paw. A lot of energy is released when you clip the wire ends, if you hold it with your fingers, when you clip it off it will shoot right into your fingers. I know, first time I did that I had to pull the wire out of my index finger with the pliers so grip them tightly with pliers that have a gripping inner side. I like to drop the clippings into a magnetic parts bowl. These parts bowls are handy, inexpensive and can get them at nearby tool shops like H freight. Finish up with a rotary tool and a sanding drum or stone tip to grind those sharp spikes that are left after clipping the wires off so you or someone else don't get a puncture or cut. Grind down the metal stub not the plastic.
Just thats what I. Have exactly. I. Didn,t know they put one in I. Don,t like it, 2 of them, its hard to clean underneath the one on the bottom, WONDERFUL TUTORIAL. GREAT JOB.
My 1969 houses Kraftmaid cabinets lazy susan is upside down to this. Really wondering who did this house because in the week we have been here so much was done wrong. House stunk of cat urine and mouse droppings but we didn’t know because they ozoned it before which is legal but unethical. Now we are stuck with rehabbing more than planned and on a strict budget. Removing all cabinets and drawer faces to sand and paint due to the odor. Same for the pull-out drawers. Trying to remove the lazy susan and all this while hubby is at work but got stuck trying to remove it. Hoping it works like your video but it is upside down. Not broken…just dirty and under it needs to be cleaned and painted for odor till we can do a full kitchen remodel. Thanks!
Could you prolong a fairly simple operation any longer? The video was helpful but very time consuming. I was ready to go in there with my Sawzall, cut the shaft and be done with it.
Probably going to have a go at ours at some point - who ever thought these were a good idea?????? It’s such an unwieldy solution that makes so much of the cupboard unusable!
Thanks for your video! Were you able to turn the new Lazy Susan a full 365 inside? I'm learning new things so I was wondering because the original one was 27 -inches and the new one is -28 ? Bare with me, I'm learning 😊
do you have a video on installing the new lazy susan? The one you purchased is identical to the one I have purchased and I have not found any other videos with similar kits

I have one from the 1920s and I think this is where I'm headed. There are no more screws to unscrew but it won't collapse like I see in most videos.
