What a fantastic day spent in the sun by🌞 as a day walker I usually try to avoid going out in the sun, but they tempted me with horses and I’m so glad that I made it out to this beautiful private island! @blueapplebeach is a private beach club on Tierra Bomba island near Cartagena Colombia 🇨🇴 from what I was told the island is completely eco-friendly and everything is self sustained on the island. When they tell you, the food is fresh .. they mean it 😅 all of the herbs and vegetables are grown on the island and the main courses are caught locally 👀 I cannot brag enough about this island 😅

The day started with a boat ride to the island 🏝️ Then I unloaded my baggage in the private cabana and took off for the horseback tour I had been promised🙌🏻 holy moly was that the best experience! I was taken on a two hour tour around the island all kinds of different landscape, including beaches, which is something I’ve always wanted to do☺️ now I can mark that off my bucket list!
The horse that I picked for my tour ended up being a fantastic partner on my trip and I can’t say enough how happy I was with the condition of the horses on this island.🫶🏻 there are a lot of places that use horses for tours and they are not very well-maintained and I will refuse to ride them.. these horses were in great shape and a pleasure to ride 🏇

After the ride, I got to sit by the pool and cool down while eating fresh red snapper from the ocean and drinking my favorite lemonade beverage ☺️ The rest of the day was filled with relaxation 👌🏻 except for the dancing by the pool 😅 that caught me offguard, but it was very fun! I had no idea what to expect from this trip because it was planned by a friend, but they guaranteed I would have a good time and they definitely delivered🙌🏻☺️ I look forward to coming back and trying it out again🤞🏻
