Yup but Waaay more expensive. But for this one just take the code and google it, U will find a good explanation for the error code and what u need to do or fix in the car.

Just use it in conjunction with info from the internet. I simply enter the data into my tablets browser whilst scanning. I got mine at just over half the Amazon price from an eBay seller for £19.99. That is really good value for a scanner of this quality. It works flawlessly.

To check a fault in my Renault Clio 2003 do i have to have the engine fault lamp lighted

Nope some codes are "pending" before a check engine light is turned on. There can be a fault code with no light
