Awesome version of a great song, and I really love the photo of the girls rocking out on stage. Can't wait to see them in New York in ten days, I'm flying over from England just for that gig.
Thank you Volan! Bass guitar was my first instrument, I learned a bunch of Maiden and Sabbath. The songs I had in my head at the time of writing was “the evil that men do” by maiden, crazy train by ozzy (Dami’s part) HIM‘s “right here in my arms” for the simple start to the verse.
@@makeatune Appreciate you talking about influences. NWOBHM definitely played a role here and I really love that era. I repeat, the result was awesome.
Thanks for checking it out! I’ve literally just put up a breakdown of how I put it together, it’s kinda nerdy but might be might be something you’re into. Or maybe not, thanks for listening tho! 🤘🏻
Yeah? ❤️ I didn’t rush like I did with Maison and listened to the mix on different headphones and speakers. I try to keep these things fun, learning as I go, but mixing is by the far the least fun thing! 😅
@@makeatune I was born in '80, and exactly what you mentioned, that gallop, I can hear it clearly, it just takes me back in time. Previously, you had made my number 1 metal/rock cover of my fav SH b-side Whistle, and now, this. Starlight is my fav Apocalypse b-side. All the DC songs are great as they are, but you give them "that" touch my heart can resonate with, too. It feels great knowing that there are people, who have the same heart/feelings towards the songs I choose as my favourites. Thank you.
@@akira18181 yessir! Over primavera I met a crazy diverse group of fans. At one point we had a really interesting discussion when sharing our stories of how we discovered DC. Most of them were KPop fans in general, but they all said it was the music that stood out with them. I made the point that being and idol group almost does them a disservice; the music is so good but I think many people who have their (mostly valid) opinions about KPop have not given them a chance yet.
@@makeatune dear Sir, my opinion, it is not up to any of kpop fans, basically, that they can decide on giving Dreamcatcher a whatever "chance", or not. Instead, it IS Dreamcatcher giving a chance to anybody listening to their rich flavored music to evolve, but many people just luck in the life progression, degrading living their lives. If you'd ask me, I could tell you that I had never been a kpop listener or a kpop fan before, I had that really fatefull chance to hear just one song of DC. Just one song, to be exact, just like the first 20 seconds of the song of theirs made me believe that for THIS I have been living and waiting to hear exactly this for 30+ years of my life. I am not a native English speaker, please forgive me for any mistakes. P.S. I am very envious of you who could attend Primavera, and at the same time I am happy for you!
Lol, my hair doesn’t work like that, it doesn’t move! my head would be like a giant microphone in the front row Mi cabello no funciona así, no se mueve! mi cabeza seria como un microfono gigante en primera fila 🎤🤣 (Google translate)

Bravo. Leez & Ollounder are taking notes.

You won’t be disappointed, they nailed it at Primavera. Enjoy!
Yeah! We need on spotify
Hey Dreamcatcher Company: if you want it, it’s yours!
Or if they took the riffs for a special live version, I’d love that too!
Te quedo bien, super.
Broo!! masterpiece!!🤌
Truly amazing. Really Respect you
This sounds like 80s European Power Metal, fine work!

Amazing version,
1:56 section is fire!
Very much iron maiden inspired! Somewhere between “Fear of the Dark” and “The Evil that men do” 🤘🏻❤️
Yaaaaaas I've been waiting for this 🔥🔥 i love it so much!
I’m glad you like it! ❤️
Sheesh dude this is clean👌💯

This audio is pretty clean it doesn’t even feel like a cover :0

It sounds like a Sonata Artica and Dreamcatcher collab. Great job!
Thanks for watching, I don’t know who they are, I was channelling iron maiden and black sabbath for this remix. I’ll check them out though!
No way have they been around since the mid 90s! To be fair my only access to Scandinavian music back then was through demo discs and magazines.
Thank you, dear sir! Amazing!
My pleasure! (Apart from the fingers hurting doing retakes of that Iron Maiden style Galloping bassline 🤣)
