Thank you soooo much for introducing the Park in such a detail! We are going to do tent camping this weekend and your posting gave me great comfort. Thanks again!
Thanks for sharing the information about the blue crabs. I’ll definitely go back and give it a try! Glad you enjoyed the update and I appreciate you watching! 👍😎
Very informative video. I've stayed on a electric/water site there earlier this year, but have been wondering about the primitive sites. They look peaceful and isolated.
Wow!! Amazing what they've done there! I'm in San Antonio so I don't make it to that part of the coast much but that park would definitely be worth it. Keep up the great videos and I'm looking forward to the Brazos Bend coverage!
I appreciate it! It’s absolutely worth the drive! Everything feels new and refreshed. Galveston SP is not far from the seawall, which has lots of restaurants and things to do.👍😎
Hey there Chris. I really enjoy your reviews. I don’t know why you don’t have more views. You do a great job. It is like being there. What I would really like is a ranking based on your personal experience of Texas state parks. What are your top 5? My preference is of course the natural aspect but also when I go, I want all of it but at the same time as the view of beatification I need internet access. I have the weboost rv and need to work while travel. So dude, how about a top 5 and take All aspects into consideration. If you you did one of those it might help your channel. Thanks for what you are doing here. For me I like it a lot.
Thanks for watching! I appreciate your suggestions and will see what I can do to put together a top 5 park list for connectivity. Texas State Parks have free Wi-Fi, but the trick is staying in a campsite close enough to boost it. For example, we were at Kickapoo Cavern SP and had no cellular. Luckily, we were close enough to the restroom to pull in Wi-Fi. I have the WE Boost Destination to boost cellular and there are some parks like Davis Mountains that rendered it useless. Great comment and I appreciate you watching! 👍😎
I love both parks but they are very different. Mustang Island has a drive on beach, the sites are small and you must share campsite space with other campers. Galveston Island has bigger sites, but, you can’t drive on the beach. Personally, I prefer Mustang island because I just find it beautiful. Thanks for watching!👍😎
Unfortunately, you cannot run even a quiet generator during the hours of 10pm-6am. I’ve had it happen only once at Kickapoo Cavern SP after a major storm knocked out the power. Great question! I appreciate you watching! 👍😎
Thanks for the question! They are designed for one large tent but if you have a couple of smaller tents you can possibly fit them on the tent pad. Thanks for watching!👍😎
Great question! No, they typically don’t allow motorized ATVs and golf carts. It’s also a safety issue. Although, They do allow electric bikes. I appreciate you watching!👍😎
@@campingtexan7721 man they were the best for creeping coons and critters out of the food 🤣 and away from the Texas mosquitoes 🦟 and flies. Great video. I want to fish there just once. Been watching videos and ran across you
That’s a great question! No, but I have been throwing around an idea of visiting Louisiana State Parks. I would like to find one close to New Orleans so I can check out the French Quarter! Thanks for the lead on Toledo SP, I’ll add it to my list! 👍😎
Great question! The park doesn’t have a name for these primitive campsites. They are sites 71-85, located on the west end of the park, just beyond the main rv camping area.👍😎
Thanks for sharing 👍🏿
I appreciate you watching!👍😎
Dear sir thank you for your detailed and thorough video! Love it! ❤
You’re very welcome! I appreciate you watching the videos!👍😎

You’re welcome! I hope you enjoy your trip to Galveston Island SP! I appreciate you watching! 👍😎
Finally a review of the newly reopened portion. Thank you so much for this
You’re welcome! I appreciate you watching! 👍😎
Underneath that wooden bridge are big blue crabs. Great crabbing area. Loving the new update since I was there in May.
Thanks for sharing the information about the blue crabs. I’ll definitely go back and give it a try! Glad you enjoyed the update and I appreciate you watching! 👍😎
Thanks for the tour, like all the new facilities on the beach side 👍
You’re welcome! I’m really happy for Galveston SP. Its nice to have the beachside back up and running! Thanks for watching! 👍😎
Love the reviews Chris, we run a 20fbs and your insight is spot on for us. Thank you for doing these.
I love the floor plan on the 20fbs! Do you have the walk around bed? I appreciate your support and thanks for watching! 👍😎
Very informative video. I've stayed on a electric/water site there earlier this year, but have been wondering about the primitive sites. They look peaceful and isolated.
Thank you! I was very impressed with the primitive area and how quiet it was! It would be worth a try to get some separation from the crowds. 👍😎

how many tents can fit on the platforms?
Thanks for the question! They are designed for one large tent but if you have a couple of smaller tents you can possibly fit them on the tent pad. Thanks for watching!👍😎
I kn ow this is old. We normally go to Crystal Beach but can you drive golf carts where the SP is ?
Great question! No, they typically don’t allow motorized ATVs and golf carts. It’s also a safety issue. Although, They do allow electric bikes. I appreciate you watching!👍😎
Do they still have screen enclosures?
Great question! They do not.

Question have you ever gone to South Or North Toledo State park in Louisiana
That’s a great question! No, but I have been throwing around an idea of visiting Louisiana State Parks. I would like to find one close to New Orleans so I can check out the French Quarter! Thanks for the lead on Toledo SP, I’ll add it to my list! 👍😎
