As a Kenyan i think you've put a bit too much sugar on the praises of kenya. Our drivers are not as good as you say especially the matatu drivers. If you mess around they will even create 4 lanes in a two way road and block all the cars coming from the opposite direction. Traffic is orderly in Nairobi and Kenya as a whole partly bcos of the humble personality of the people but also because of NTSA. NTSA is National Transport and Safety Authority, they are very strict. If you are found with a traffic offence and taken to court you will pay a very huge fine.

I'm a Nigerian and I agree with everything in this video. I had lived most of my life outside of Nigeria, 3 decades to be exact. However, I return to a country with the above description. It was a shock to know that there's a country on planet earth that's being run so disorderly, without basic etiquette, lawlesly, and without respect for neighbor's right to dwell peacefully. Abuja roads are definitely the most dangerous in Nigeria. However, you probably didn't drive on some really dangerous major freeways and minor ways in Abuja where motorists and motorcyclists drive on the wrong direction of traffic flow and this is not only common in Abuja but all across Nigeria. Unfortunately, it's implicitly legal by Nigeria's standards of road safety. It's indeed a very tearful condition for me and it's making me reconsider my plan to settle here. In a nutshell, Nigeria is a completely disorderly society and a failed state and it's run like there's no leadership. Would like to know 2 things.
1. The experience you had with common man.
(In Kenya, common man is 'mwananchi', owner of the land but we have the 'false land owners' the plunderers of our wealth! We call them 'wenye nchi' both words are similar 'owners of the land' but the thiefs in there corruption dictate the terms here albeit the fact that the latter were asleep but now awake!

2. Your take on nightlife in Nairobi? The hype, the hvpe, man the hype

I lived in both cities and I think you are not comparing rather you are giving bad publicity about Nigeria. Try put some other factors in place while feeding us here with biased information. Your complacency is the reason Nigeria is a completely disorderly, lawless, poorly run and disorganized society. I'm glad there's someone out there who's reasoning with me. Nairobi has over 3 million cars on the road & has the second largest traffic in Africa after Lagos.
