The Jamaican Rastafarians were the only people in the western world, consistently and unrelenting promoting the dream of a unity Africa . The Jamaican Rasta' s were constantly talking about how great Africa ,was when it was not popular to do. Back Then there was no social media but the Jamaican Rasta made thousands of songs about their love for the continent. They sang songs calling for the liberation of Africa during the anti apartheid struggles and Africa independence movements.
I would love to travel to Africa to see my Roots as a African American my Ancestors was taking from West Africa during The Trans Atlantic Slave Trade, their identity was taking also their names, religion and culture I always represent Africa because it's home even though I wasn't born in Africa but I have that African Blood running through my veins, like Malcolm X said (we are Africans that was born in America)

Your always welcome Bro it's your Ancestral home and let your other AA brothers and sistas know not to believe that nonsense being pushed about how Africans don like you.
@Yola Peters Because a lot of Nigerians don't know how good they have it in Nigeria and how blessed Nigeria is. A lot believe the grass is greener on the other side, but once they travel for a "better life" in Europe or in the US/Canada they see that they have more stress, less time for themselves, a lot of bills, debt, no family, they become poorer than they were in Nigeria, discrimination etc. These are all things they never faced in Nigeria. That's why a lot of them are going back to Nigeria. Watch videos on RUclips about Nigerians warning other Nigerians not to go abroad and to stay in Nigeria because it's a blessed country and abroad is not what it seems. A lot of Nigerians are beginning to realise this. My cousins don't want to go to Europe or the US because of the black discrimination they have been hearing about and about the countless amount of bills you'll have to pay, they'd rather build their business in Nigeria. Nigerians going abroad is starting to decline. My Nigerian parents are planning to reside and have their pension in Nigeria in the future, they don't want to stay in Europe (Belgium) forever, because for them Europe is stressful and lonely. Even tho I was born in Belgium and grew up here, I also want to one day move to Nigeria because I see so much more potential in Nigeria than anywhere in Europe or the US.

I'm from Brazil and I never, never expected Nigeria was so beautiful.
The international media always show the bad side of the African continent.
It's like if the international media only ever showed the favelas and all their associated problems EVERY time they talked about or showcased Brazil.
Exactly 💯% this is why we're telling our story.
Abuja is beautiful with a low population compared to Lagos.
Me and my Ghana first lady would be coming to abuja men d place look gud i never know abuja was dat lovely

@@blazinghot99 ok
No, my son was born in Ghana but couldn't get Ghanaian passport because we are Nigerians. He will have to apply for Nigerian passport as a foreigner.
@@melangeparis609 but in Nigeria that child has the right to get a Nigerian passport!

Abuja is truly breathtaking.
It looks better than London lol, the streets in London are usually dirty, in Abuja everything is super clean and orderly, Abuja looks just like Kigali in Rwanda I'm amazed, I never really thought it would look that good.
@@fixthings2473 Abuja is on a class of it's own.. You haven't seen anything yet.
This guy made me begin to love nigeria
Proud to be a Nigerian and African
The narrative of Africa is on the changing mode...all hail AFRICA
True that. It's time for us to tell our own story..:
More grace to ur elbow of showing Africa to the world
Yes abuja is indeed beautiful because it is the capital of nigeria! Nigerian people are also beautiful people inside and out like my previous boss. They are so kind, helpful and very influential people in your country and they are very down to earth, they treat their staffs with kindness and I wish to go back in their company soon but i’m taking care of my parents that’s why i choose to leave. I will never forget my nigerian colleagues who became my friends also and just watching this reminds me of you all and your delicious jollof rice.
Pr Incess Thanks dear
