You should add a rear conveyor to the crusher! Maybe a detachable or permanently fixed. This way the small rocks can be conveyed into a trailer. By the way, love your videos keep up the good work and be safe!!
Donn was watching the build again .. I am not there too see the whole thing ,, watching it work I can see the chunks moving up and down before they break ,, on your wear plates you put rerod . could you add points like a saw blade on the rod every few inches ,,teeth ,, so that it will hold the concrete in place when the plate comes in and then it can drop when busted ,, small teeth like as tall as a head of a bolt seams like the concrete did a lot of up and down before it broke ,, I am not there it might be just fine just a thought ,, just wish there was not a big pond in the way I am in NY would like too use that unit for a week or 2 lol ..
Could watch that all day! It's ASMR - Automatic Smashing and Munching of Rocks! 😂 Would also love to see the conveyor belt feeding back into the back end of the dump trailer... rocks off the front, gravel into the back, then dropping it on the trail. ...then we'll look forward to the road roller build after that! 😂 Fabulous work! 👏👏👏
You should hard face the rebar before it wears down. We use a high impact, high wear welding rod stoody 35 is the wear rods we use it’s for mining cutters. The stoody 35 rod is sold by Airgas welding supply
Wow. Think of how many of us from all over the world are watching Donn crush concrete. I bet he can get us to watch paint drying, or watch his grass grow. 😏
That would be huge, not having to sit there and feed it piece by piece. Fill the hopper up and let er eat for a few hours, check on it every now and then..
Well built old home . Rock crusher did a good job on that old very hard concrete . You are a skilled fabricator your creations are fun to watch and see work. Thanks for sharing your projects.
This is oddly satisfying to watch. The muncher just keeps asking for more, and I'll bet the resulting aggregate works great on a driveway or path. Good job!
Sir, how insanely satisfying watching Mandy the muncher working her magic whilst you feed and film the action! Thankyou so much for that, it warms the cockles of the heart!
would mounting the axle on struts to the ground eliminate the recoil from the tires & allow more efficient crush?? looks great, always enjoy your videos!!
There is just something satisfying about watching that machine maliciously munching away on old chunks of concrete! I posted on one of your other videos about putting a bead of hard facing rod on your rebar but I'm afraid it would be too slick and not "grab" the material and pull it in. Maybe just spots of weld about 1/4 inch (6mm) apart so it had raised bumps. It does look like your rebar is losing some of its grip though. It still gets the job done though! Thanks for letting us watch! Cheers! Terry from South Carolina
Fantastic build , jaw crushers are designed to be choked just about non stop . The weight of the next rock helps the crushing action by pushing down on the rock that is being crushed . Great engineering and I could never build anything like this . 👍
Would it make sense to add a removeable chute to the jawcrusher, so you can load in more rocks simultaneously and don't have to babysit the jawcrusher so much?
Yep, all good. I'm just clearing up that same old foundation at the moment you see in the video. Took an "active vacation" from being a youtuber so-to-say. Finishing soon, then back to my steel working projects and producing videos.😉
Its great to see all of the wood and concrete was reused from this !! A lot of jackhammer work ! Also there was some big rocks behind that concrete . That crusher sure does work nice !!👍👍Such a fine way to reuse that concrete !!
While watching the video, a few questions arose for me. The crusher is working quite slowly and the engine does not seem to be working at full capacity. Do you have to increase the stroke of the crusher for a higher work pace? Or is the angle of the breaker plate not steep enough or even too steep. After the construction you mentioned that a high speed of the crusher does not improve the throughput because the material does not have enough time to slide down.
Its working like a charm Donn = ) Interested to see how the wear plates hold up over time, just out of curiosity. And if they need a little topping up then they're designed to be easily removed !
great video ..crusher works great ,, when you pulled the wall down with the jbc the big rocks that were stuck to the concrete .. I have them and a bit bigger ,,on my farm lots of rock at my place .. need a crusher that will fit your machine inside .. I think that there is enough rock too fill a semi trailer 2 times ?? I need the stone for my driveways and drain pipes .. just need to start building ,, Keep up the Great work you do DONN love the videos and ideas ,,
I did watch your building of the rock crusher. And I was wondering if you would have run the rebar horizontally for one plate if it would crush the rocks/concrete quicker... IDK, just wondering... Thumbs Up!
You don’t need a conveyor. Jack the crusher up and use a sheet of metal for a waste slide. Leave a space at one end of your trailer and let the waste rubble slide into the trailer as you feed the concrete into the crusher.
Glad you have a safe fun working project going on Donn, gives you a great opportunity to use some of your toys/tools that you’ve been building. Be careful and have a good time. Fred.🙏🏻🙏🏻👍🏻👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻✋🏻✋🏻👊🏻👊🏻
I just had a thought, I wonder how it would handle reinforced concrete? I think the rebar would fall through just fine, so long as it didn't get wedged in.
Good machine for a home gamer, but using it to crush some serious load would take ages. Thankfully your design is so simple that beefing it up wouldn't be much trouble.
You crushed it. 😉 Too bad you didn’t listen to all the people saying the rebar wouldn’t last………..because well…..it isn’t wearing out. 🤔 Do you have any problems starting it with the direct drive pulley instead of the centrifugal clutch?
How old was that house? It looked like it had seen some changes over it's life. People pay a lot of money for a structure like that here in USA. Good luck.

Next build or maybe the firewood conveyor
Now you need a small conveyor to move the product away from the machine. Another RUclips build perhaps!?!
what for it so slow going for each peace you need something to do well standing there waiting
I'm sitting here watching the crusher and all I can think is "NOM NOM NOM NOM NOM" the whole time! 🤣🤣
Awesome Don!

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
you're not wrong! (very satisfying)
You nailed it 👌😂😂😂
Yep crushingly good entertainment.
Or an Opel rot.
thanks for tearing down your house to provide us with a jaw crusher video
Nice video you should upgrade crusher and make some kind of a hopper 🤔
Hopper and conveyor
That would be huge, not having to sit there and feed it piece by piece. Fill the hopper up and let er eat for a few hours, check on it every now and then..
Boy, I think you should have built that crusher way bigger. Just one guys opinion. Thanks for the great video.
A hopper to feed it would work.
@@igoro2475 don't stick your fingers in there!😂😂😂
How long in realtime did it take in the end ??
Nice to see AFH on your channels too! Greetings from Finland

Can´t believe I just watched a machne crusing concrete for 10 minutes... And liked it... 😁
would mounting the axle on struts to the ground eliminate the recoil from the tires & allow more efficient crush?? looks great, always enjoy your videos!!
Brilliant crusher. Needs a feed box so it can be properly choke fed. Many thanks indeed for your videos.
It’s so satisfying watching the concrete being crushed 😌
Now just make it X10. And fed auto from above and evacuated from below. :-) Donn, you are one of my few absolute favorites!

This was one of my favorite builds! 👍
there is something oddly satisfying about watching you crush concrete chunks into little concrete chunks......
Nicely done. Thank you for sharing. BTW, You display disturbing levels of ambition and energy. There are treatments available. ;-)
Well done video not unlike watching grass grow but for all that it was just a calming video thank you

Something soothing about watching all that concrete getting smashed , and that 65mm pulley seems to be just right. Great video Donn. 👍
Great job! 🍻👍
Most any old foundations will have have the best materials for aggregate. Nothing synthetic. That fill is so pure.
Looks great. Just what I'll need to turn my 900sqft house & slab into driveway base.
That crusher works like a charm!
Very satisfying to watch, that machine is just nom nom nom nom nom nom nom MOAH! nom nom nom nom nom nom nom MOAH! 😁
Donn the gold hand man. Congratulations.
This crusher is ASMR for builders. So relaxing to watch...
How much would it cost /sell one in U.K.?

demolition of a wooden house👍👍👍
2:50 This is like one of those ASMR videos with a rabbit eating... only much much cooler. LOL
Hi did you build you wet chop saw? Is it better to just use the dry one?
Люблю смотреть на 3 вещи: как горит огонь, течёт вода и дробится камень 😂😂😂

only took him 3 weeks to crush that small load

Shrink your crusher pulley and add fluid damper twice as fast?
It's strangely satisfying to watch. Like a fire.
This is so satisfying. I could watch it all day long and not get bored.
Same
Are you satisfied with the yield vs. time?
There's something oddly satisfying about watching this...can't explain it.
I wonder if something like your firewood conveyor would fit under that? Then you could load the dump trailer as you crush.
Ролик видео ответ на многие вопросы по крепости и надёжности станка !?
That was exciting, is there a site for toenail clipping?
Why did you not use a 360 digger attachment jack hammer!
3:20 нужно сделать ленточный транспортер. чтобы камни сразу грузить в прицеп, а не лопатой кидать.
Есть у него транспортёр . Раньше сделал .

Brilliant 😎😎😎 ❤❤❤❤❤
Absolutely awesome, I would like to have one crusher like this. Did you try to crush some rocks with it, would it do?
That thing works so good, I watched 10 mins of rocks getting crashed.. again 😂
Higher or lower RPMs make very much difference?

How old is the house?
I 💚 this video. More please.
You should put your wood conveyor under it to move the stone to a different area/trailer!! 😉
Donn, you are doing everything right.
That piece of enginered steele is pure genius 😀
👌👌🤘 now u just need a conveyor that you can put under so it loads it rite into a trailer for ya 👍👍👍

Why is there no steel reinforcement inside concrete?
It works all right, but I wonder if the speed could not be enhanced by installing more aggressive teeth made of carbide e.g.
I love your videos, but I'm only going to watch so many of you crushing rocks!
Хороший советский бетон😊
Great work Donn !
Can i suggest to add something who blow a tinny water mist in the jaw to avoid the dust flying every where and save your lungs. ;)

How did you determine the stroke of the cam? You need to paint a monster face with teeth on this beast.
That was a very old house. You should use a metal detector around the property to find some treasures!
