      Still love the classic paint of the SP unit with tribute to the steam engine it's profiled after.
      And that DD40AX is a beast of an engine(s).

    Great shots Mike! The Keddie Wye is on my list for the next trip to the US , when ever that will be ! Iv'e never seen a train stopped on the bridge before but this was perfect timing.

    I was standing next to yo at Portola and at the keddie. As I watched this I pulled my pictures out and yep they are the same, great fun that day.

    crazy how large it is. You wouldnt think so by just looking at it alone but sitting next to a SD70 at 20:00 you clearly see that its maybe 30% larger

      @@trainlover123trainsrock yup. It’s still unfortunate UP doesn’t want them anymore but at least they’re going to someone UP knows will do well with the equipment.

    This sure must’ve been a unique train to catch, seeing how there’s only a handful of Museum that often take their equipment off their property for use.

    what was the route set, I want to recreate this in train simulator, so I need depart point and arrival point

    This same train hit a truck in 2000 or 2006 and it did not look good

      Yeap and they were going to scrap it but the public dictated otherwise. People didn't want to see it go. So they repaired it, made some safety modifications and put it back out. But since 2017 I don't think it's moved out of the round house. But at least it's safe from the elements.

      ​@@jordanalexander615It has been moved this year. Being donated to a museum along with the challanger and another steamer. The streamers will be restored to operational use, hopefully she will be to.
