Back in 95, living in Los Angeles as a young boy and young Railfan, my parents took me to portola to take part in the rent-a-locomotive program.... also drove the 921. Fast forward to 2021. I'm 32 year old now, live in Germany, and am a hazardous materials freight train manager for Cargo portion of the germam railway, Deutsch Bahn 🇺🇸🇩🇪😎🤙🏻💪🏻🤙🏻💪🏻 awesome video!!!!

@@babyhars93 Same to you, my man! (By the way, I don't know if Bruce Cooper rings a bell to you, but he was the head of the Rent-a-locomotive progragram at the FRRM back in the day. He and his wife Sue, were really good family friends of ours)😎😊😊

Wow #921 is still in operation to this day. It must be one of the oldest locomotives in the collection. I knew it made an appearance in the Pentrex film Great American Train Rides and I always wondered what happened to it after that
