Adult Gilgamesh (usually) only uses Ea against an opponent that he *both* A. respects, AND B. is actually a threat (ie Alexander the Great Rider). Angelica qualifies as neither. She is the lowest form of faker whose very existence Gil would find insulting, and cannot possibly hurt him with his own Noble Phantasm.
Ohh well universe won't exist since he's universal and not to mention EA isn't his strongest weapon
It's after seeing Fate/Grand Order Babylon, that you realize why Gil gets so mad at Angelica when using his chains, or more like, he is mad because she's using Enkidu's chains.
Well the chains are literally part of his being, so in this case she literally was using the body of his only friend against him. Had this been either of the later adolescence/adult forms of Gil... The entire castle would have been wiped off the face of the Earth in rage
You cannot separate enkidu and the chain, Enkidu is the chain itself.

Angelica could probably never realize just how lucky she was that it was the child version of Gilgamesh that she tried to use Enkidu against. Had it been his older version, the end result would not have been pretty.

In lore its outright stated that Gilgamesh can only remember himself as a child as getting a second hand retelling by someone else. Perhaps Caster Gil and Ko Gil would be somewhat close but even then it's stated that the disconnect is jarring.

after watching Babylonia, I'm seriously Gilgamesh's life choices.
like, he has every noble phantasm and he can use them. (we've seen him use a few of them as more than just projectiles in fate/stay night 2004), he has sha naqba imuru so he can therefore see the future and any parallel worlds, has EA and we've seen how powerful EA can be in Babylonia, and he can actually fight hand to hand combat.
In 2004 fate/stay night, he was able to match saber in sword to sword combat and in Babylonia, he can be seen fighting two combat servants alone and was able to easily hold his own. He was still able to fight against enkidu even though he's not in his prime anymore.
We've seen how his charisma can affect people in Babylonia. He was able to give hope to his people and to mash and fujimaru when they needed it. We've seen him inspire loyalty to his people and he probably could've made the right alliances to finish the war even faster without even having to dirty his own hands.
Gate of Babylonia is just a bunch of hacks. if Gil needs anything, he can just whip it out and his ego is too big to be contained by the grail. That's why he was converted to mana instead of being corrupted by the grail like saber.
If this man wasn't such a condescending douchebag, the holy grail war would have been good as finished.
And I believe that Gilgamesh does care for his people. When he was a kid he was shown that he does care about them. But he was still a inconsiderate tyrant before enkidu came along but after enkidu came along, we were shown in Babylonia that although his people could never truly understand him, his goal was to still preserve humanity and make them independent. In fate/strange fake, he was shown to care a little bit for tine chelc when he gave her a potion of immortality and told her to act like a kid while she still can.

I think it's funny how in the anime Gil bails on the situation due to interference from a Thor class card (A god whose Divinity rank would be EX) despite literally holding Enkidu the chains whose strength scales on Divinity.

He has and always will look after his own interests. He had very little to gain from fighting it out with a divine being at that moment. Despite being known as the King of Heroes his legendary heroics are usually only second hand results of doing what he pleases. Being heroic as we understand it was not a part of his nature.
Kyle Pessell maybe so, but not only does he hate the gods, but the entire reason he came was to retrieve his class card which means fighting the two wielders would be in his best interests.
I don't know a ton of the context to this scene so perhaps I shouldn't have analyzed it too much. All I know about Gilgamesh is that he is a high-class jerk with an ego only matched by his self-confidence and pride. However, it doesn't seem out of character for him to bail on a fight that isn't going in his favor. He has done so in the past.
Gilgamesh child has nothing to do with his adult version. Do not analyze his behavior in Kaleid as if you were facing the normal Gilgamesh of FZ or FSN :)
In Kaleid he is heavily nerfed for Plot reasons. If he were not, he would end the story alone.

If you would read about gils story, you would know that he is a much better person than he comes off as. Also remember that this version of gil is only this evil because he formed a contract with angra mainyu. And yeah the plot armour exists because the writers made it so that he would be so egotistic that he wouldn't draw ea until the last moment.

The first time I saw Angelica I genuinely thought he was an alternative version of Gilgamesh. To be fair, it was a clip from her fight with Prisma Emiya where she seems to be using Gilgamesh's arsenal.

Gil is the King among all heroes, the Grand Servants are also heroes. What makes Salomon broken is the fact that he summoned himself, Gil most likely could as well, but it's too boring for him.

Despite Fate/Kaleid being mostly known as the cunny yuri anime (let's be fair some of us watched the show because of that) it actually have some amazingly animated fight scenes. Sadly, the manga updates really slowly even though we're finally at the climax. I think the updates even stopped, it's been months but there's no new chapter yet.

I watched it for Illya because I wanted to see Illya happy. What happened to her in zero and ubw was very sad.
I watch it because I like the cute girls doing cute things and cute girls doing dangerous things genre. But I have to say that of all the animes of this type that I watched, Fate Kaleid and Railgun were the ones I liked the most. The story accompanied by good fights and the fact that the cast of characters has one or two boys even though it's a show focused on girls, are one of the coolest aspects of both for me. Not announcing a Fate Kaleid film? I'm still waiting .
