So far in any of the fate series and games Lancelot is my favorite berserker, a proud knight turned mad by his obsession. And even with the berserkers mad enhancement he still retains his skills of a knight

I have to admit of all the Fate Series out there the darkest has to be Zero. The series was just a mix of tragedy, horror and death.

And you must take other factors on account, Gil would (under normal circumstances) be unable to reach the time temple and would die to AAS like everyone else, the only reason that servants reached it in canon is that their Heroic Spirits used Akasha as a gateway to reach the temple using their link with Ritsuka as a catalyst

In the light novel it said that if he opened sixteen more gates he would've overwhelmed Lancelot/berserker for reference Gilgamesh can open hundreds
@@jimmy89758 yes that true but even when he brings a lot of gates it don't means he wins remember how the fight with Shiro went and how Hercule break unbreakable chains gilgamesh biggest weakness is his pride and God complex but glad you comment on this about the novel because it seems to me that less and less people read the novels any more so thank you 😊

He's not bad for him. Like everyone else. He just do what he think good for him that's all ^^
I think it has something to do with him being a villain in the beginning of his original myth. Only after befriending Enkidu does he start to become a good King.

Mythologically I cannot argue against either Demi gods…they are both of the flesh of men, i more enjoy Gil’s approach of saying fuck the Gods than Hercules playing kiss ass…but I can’t choose a favorite in a fight, both earned their titles (arguable that Gil is more legendary since he is closer in Hercules than we are)
