I feel like the reason why they made Pam so quiet and shy at first was because she was with Roy. He was verbally abusive to her, never would let her speak her mind, made decisions for her, made her feel like she didn’t have a voice, etc. She didn’t stop being like that until they broke up and the episode “Beach Day” Pam confesses her feelings for Jim and confronts everyone for not going to her art show. That was the start of her character change/development where she finally realized she has a voice. I don’t see why Pam got hate for that, I think it’s really incredible the writers and Jenna decided that for Pam. In my opinion, I liked Pam better when she started being assertive and not shy.
Honestly I found her pretty annoying after she started dating Jim. But I also felt good when she broke up with Roy and started to become a little more smart as the seasons went by
I saw a video about a theory that said that turn point to Pam's assertive nature was the Art Show. Oscar and his boyfriend Gill talk of Pam as a person who's strong points are not honesty and confidence. From the next day on, you can see Pam trying to be honest with people. "If you want to be my boyfriend, you've to do boyfriend things" - stuff like these.
I honestly don’t think roy is that bad a person. They are just not a good couple and that can happen when you’re with someone only for time and not because you actually love them
i honestly dont know why pam/ jenna got hate, the transition of her being shy to more assertive just showed character development and i for one LOVED it :) it showed she got more comfortable with the people around her and tbh i never really liked her much when she was quiet lmfao,, but yeah pam changed for the better
I didn't like her when she was shy. She was shy and yet she was nasty to people behind their back. I don't know what men see in her...but her development was interesting. Even she dressed better as a saleswoman. Than she went back to this "shy" dresses again
Roy was always verbally abusive. Always telling her no, and doing what he wanted too, never paying attention to her. But jim.opened her up by caring for her and making her feel appreciated so I think that's what turned her around. Making her feel like she had a voice instead of being put down all the time
Creed should have his own show where every episodes is at a new office that he just walked into, started working, got people fired, stealing their shit and was as confused about his whereabouts as when he saw Dwight dangle on the high wire and he said "Not bad for a day of the life in a dog food company"
It would be better as a small little thing like "Creed Tales" where each episode is only like 5 minutes. Perhaps it would be similar to the office, but not exactly like it since it would be hard to get all the actors together.

You didn't mention how creed Bratton said in the one episode that he transfers his debt to William Charles Schneider which is his birth name. (Creed Bratton is his band name)
Compared to Rainn Wilson as Dwight, I agree, though that comparison would have been impossible with Rogan as Dwight. When you compare something to itself, it will appear perfect.
Ty! It was in San Diego, CA she was here for a couple weeks doing a play at one of our theaters here and one of those days I went and waited for her outside the theater after the play was done and she came out and took photos and stuff :D
this is one of those youtube gems you run into when you've exhausted all possible office videos. so glad i came across this - awesome job! the more i watch and learn about this show, the more i love it.
He wouldn't be bad if he diversified his characters rather than playing the same role in everything I have seen him in. I don't think he would have been able to articulate the Dwight character and just turned him into a man child who just lived for weed and screwing around.
For the life of me, I can't figure out why they wanted to do a spin-off with Dwight called "The Farm", when they could've done a spin-off with Creed called "The Many Misadventures of Creed Bratton". I would've watched the SHIT out a show centered on Creed's misdeeds.
It's only natural. In a long term relationship A strong man usually prefers a weaker woman AND a strong woman prefers a weaker man. It reduces the instances where the couples fight over unnecessary things and neither back down. Where as in the 2 types of couples mentioned above, the strong and weak partner are both happy. So I don't know why the guy thinks all men SHOULD like strong Pam? Obviously some will like it and some won't. Why does it bother the idiot
The OP is trynna point out Pam getting hate, after the mid Season 3 and so on, from there the character PAM, had gone strong and was more opened about her feelings and more communicative and talkative, so some people did not liked her that way much.
I never watched the show when it was on originally, I just found it this year in reruns. It is great ! Now I have it on all the time. Each show gets better and funnier the more you see it. you notice more😊😊
*while standing on the roof staring at Jim* In the end, the greatest snowball isn't a snowball at all. It's fear. Merry Christmas kids. -Dwight Schrute
10:12 I find it adorable how Dwight is singing Angela’s favorite song. They were meant to be together all along, it’s a shame they only ended up marrying at the end of Season 9, but I’m glad that it played out that way because it was very entertaining. Especially the senator scandal 😂
I appreciate you sticking up for Pam! She is my favorite character - she's so funny! I'm glad we got to see more of her goofy side as she became more confident in herself and more assertive.
I think in the past 5 years I've seen it about 20 times (I tend to skip season 9 though, I'm not a fan of the 2 new additions and the amount of feels it has).
22 is incorrect, Oscar was shown to be gay starting midway through season 2, including the episode where he takes a sick day to spend time with a boyfriend and when he awkwardly tries to pass off flowers he received on Valentine's day as being from his mother.
That's when he was shown to be gay on the show. The video is saying the character wasn't supposed to be gay but wardrobe gave him a pink shirt and the writers then wrote that as part of his arc...
"I've watched the entire series over 3 times" HAHA! Honest to God I've watched the whole series, every episode, at least 21 times in 4 years. Not hating, just saying. Respect to my fellow Office fans :)
I made another comment but thought maybe you could answer. I don't really get this one. So Michael delivers the first line of the series and Pam does the last. But is there some significance to it being those two? Because obviously someone has to do the 1st line and someone has to do the last line. What is special about it being those two? If there's nothing special about it being them it just seems kind of odd to put that on a list.
Pam and Jim were the only characters besides Dwight, that I actually was interested in the whole time. Their story was great and it honestly kind of made the show. Her character was great every season.
The Jim and Pam combo got really stale in the middle seasons. Then after the kids the writers had no clue what to do with them and they wasted away. Dwight was really the only interesting one from beginning to end.
Kevin actually talked with his normal voice for the entirety of season 1! They switched it up because they wanted him to be more quirky. Love the little facts like those.
Franchesca Pierre I was thinking that whole episode or 2 when his aunt died and Dwight inherited the farm that they were planning one bug it never happened. I was sad. Now to know they were makes me even more sad
Seeing as how MOST spin-offs are terrible, I'm glad they didn't tarnish The Office with one. It's quietly one of the top 5 sitcoms of all-time. Danny Thomas to Andy Griffith; Cheers pulled it off with Frasier, but even there, spin-offs are just distinctly worse than their parent show. No need to keep the character going just because we can't learn to let go. Some things overstay their welcome, and others are completely ruined when brought back (Arrested Development, Will and Grace...).
That was awesome, I was just watching the office today, and honestly, I think that it feels like one of the most real show there is. The amount of sadness you feel when Jim leaves, then comes back with Karen and finds out Pam is single and really wants to be with him is gut wrenching. I normally don't get too emotionally invested in TV shows at all, but the office, scrubs and to a lesser extent, parks and rec are 3 shows where the characters, as silly as it sounds, almost feel like friends, like you could walk up to Jim and he would be a goofy, friendly genuine guy. I think it works so well because they aren't playing a character, as much as they are just going to work at a paper company, which is actually filmed. Nothing feels forced, everything seems very plausible and realistic, and all the emotions feel genuine.
Pam's character progression didn't affect my feelings on the character. In fact, it was nice to see her progress from the timid wallflower as you put it, to the outgoing woman that blagged herself a promotion of sorts. Whilst the character started off as cute but quiet, she ended up with a lot of strong relationships with her co-workers because she became more outgoing. Oh and by the way, just putting it out there, Jenna Fischer is smoking hot. She could've just sat at the desk and said nothing for nine seasons and I still would've been invested in the character.
I think you are referring to fact #42. Fact #36 was John signing his own name on Meredith's cast. I'd like to know which episode #42 is talking about thought.

Yeah the problem is that The Office US aired way before Breaking Bad and so if he ended up being Micheal Scott then he couldn't have been Saul. Maybe there is a parallel universe where Steve Carrell is Saul Goodman lmao
Well before you were told to believe he's Satan he was actually a highly respected though comically eccentric billionaire. I mean he still is. He's just also the President of the United States.

on instagram, Angela shared a photo of how big she was when she was actually pregnant and it was insane that they concealed her belly so well! The only way I could tell she was pregnant was because her face looked a bit swollen
Laura Gilray Woahhh!! Got to rewartch it!
I think you mean season 4
Take a look at the bloopers of that season, you can notice easily in some instances
9:10 “large balls”😭😂

Finally someone said it I loved when Pam actually starts to get her voice but others hated it
I would watch the hell out of a Shrute Farms spinoff show.
You’ve seen the series 3 times...smh those are rookies numbers
False! I haven’t seen it once and know all of it by heart. Almost like I lived through it all!
Bamm Boozoled fr I’ve seen it so many times I’ve lost track it’s at LEAST 13
Dwight Schrute ok but like you did though lol
Who cares?
d r lots of people 3 is amateur numbers
You didn't mention how creed Bratton said in the one episode that he transfers his debt to William Charles Schneider which is his birth name. (Creed Bratton is his band name)
Or that the last person the cross him was Creed Bratton
I love Seth Rogan but that really would’ve sucked if he was Dwight
When they said Bob Odenkirk was considered, all I could think was him playing the part as Saul on Breaking Bad.
*seth rogan chuckle*
You wouldn’t have know any different
Compared to Rainn Wilson as Dwight, I agree, though that comparison would have been impossible with Rogan as Dwight. When you compare something to itself, it will appear perfect.
u dont need to mention that u love seth rogan just say that it would have sucked
The Office was the best thing to ever happen to me
THIS SHOW IS MY LIFE. I met Jenna Fisher like 2 months ago, I was wearing my Office shirt and she loved it (":
Youre so lucky omg
Awesome! Where at? Gotta hear the story now. Lol
Ty! It was in San Diego, CA she was here for a couple weeks doing a play at one of our theaters here and one of those days I went and waited for her outside the theater after the play was done and she came out and took photos and stuff :D
That is amazing. I bet she's a sweet person.
Slime Clouds Wow. Lucky you 😁
this is one of those youtube gems you run into when you've exhausted all possible office videos. so glad i came across this - awesome job! the more i watch and learn about this show, the more i love it.
“I’ve watched it over 3 times”
Me: *amateurs*
21, beat that.
Update, 33
32 you can’t beat that! Lol
yes, that's what I'm saying!! 3 is so soft!
55 times beat that yall are all amateurs in my book
I Am so glad seth rogan didn't role as dwight
Alexis Christine I don't like that guy
He wouldn't be bad if he diversified his characters rather than playing the same role in everything I have seen him in. I don't think he would have been able to articulate the Dwight character and just turned him into a man child who just lived for weed and screwing around.
*DUDE WEED LOL*
@@BIGBAD562 I like him but yeah he wouldn't be a good dwight.
He's not funny and plays the same character in everything he's in.
Seth Rogen was almost Dwight. Glad that fell through coz Dwight is Dwight.
OtaconAlonsus ye
Dwight is my bae. He is my favourite character ... if he was played by Seth I doubt, I'd feel the same way.
so true
He wasn't almost Dwight, he just auditioned.
"I've watched the show over 3 times"
Amateur
Yaminramen lol
Yeah. Filthy casual
Amateur hour! I’ve watched it 6 times and going on my 7th!!! I think I need a life
Exactly!
Yaminramen I came here to say the same thing lmao
False! I knew these all already.
how's life as a regional manager and AARM??
@@akshatgarg5511 no an assistant to the regional manager

Creed is my favorite character omfg
For the life of me, I can't figure out why they wanted to do a spin-off with Dwight called "The Farm", when they could've done a spin-off with Creed called "The Many Misadventures of Creed Bratton". I would've watched the SHIT out a show centered on Creed's misdeeds.
waltonsimons12
Sofia Magalhães he's so funny lmao
pittygold99 check his wallet to see if hes an organ donor
Creed: nope, already checked his wallet XD
I find creed too creepy, o well he's still hilarious
The little drummer boy song hint was crazy! Did the writers plan on Dwight and Angela ending up together the whole time?
he also does the same thing on their wedding day
identity theft isn't a joke Tom Keck
Well played.
Werent they already together when the show started
Fuck you and your fucking spoilers
People didn't like assertive pam? I loved Pam so much more when she was saying what she felt!
I think it's instinctive among men to dislike assertive women, as men prefer to appear strong in a relationship
"Pams, kind of a bitch." -Karen
That’s because your a good person
She was supposed to be assertive? She was annoying lol. Kelly is assertive!!

The title should be 50 Facts You Didn't Know About The Office Unless You're a Fan
Yass
💯 ALL facts!!! Didn't know each one, but definitely knew a good bit of em.
Okay no need to flex
Soooo true, I know all the stuff apart from the Newspaper highlighting thing
You’re saying you knew that about the late show connection!
Honestly say what you guys want but I loved Pam either way.
What’s wrong with Pam?
The OP is trynna point out Pam getting hate, after the mid Season 3 and so on, from there the character PAM, had gone strong and was more opened about her feelings and more communicative and talkative, so some people did not liked her that way much.
But that's just character development, isn't it? I think it makes the show more real and I like Pam that way. She's still the same Pam, right?
Guru Gal nothing
She was annoying in season 9
Who else has watched The Office more than 10 times? 😂
I never watched the show when it was on originally, I just found it this year in reruns. It is great ! Now I have it on all the time. Each show gets better and funnier the more you see it. you notice more😊😊

I find it adorable how Dwight is singing Angela’s favorite song.
"As I've watched the entire series over three times."
Oh boy, here we go.
Only three, hah NOT A TRUE FAN
No, he's a true fan. I guess.
Jawad Khan no, you get granted the rank of true fan when you have seen it 3 times.
Liamromanwilliams dang boy don't you have a job?
I think in the past 5 years I've seen it about 20 times (I tend to skip season 9 though, I'm not a fan of the 2 new additions and the amount of feels it has).
22 is incorrect, Oscar was shown to be gay starting midway through season 2, including the episode where he takes a sick day to spend time with a boyfriend and when he awkwardly tries to pass off flowers he received on Valentine's day as being from his mother.
TXcowb0y they gave a hint when Michael said something about showing his true colors
That's when he was shown to be gay on the show. The video is saying the character wasn't supposed to be gay but wardrobe gave him a pink shirt and the writers then wrote that as part of his arc...
throughout the series, i just feel bad for toby, he a good guy and michael tweets him like garbage
Maggie Lage is he a good guy, because it’s possible he’s the Scranton strangler
It's a tv show.....
no Toby sucks
Toby looks like a basset.
Maggie Lage or he was the scranton strangler... the world will never know

"I've watched the entire series over 3 times" HAHA! Honest to God I've watched the whole series, every episode, at least 21 times in 4 years. Not hating, just saying. Respect to my fellow Office fans :)

sam tensleu OOH. DROPPIN BOMBS!
Lol, not really tho
I like that this guy assumed we wouldn't know who delivered the first line of the show and who delivered the last line...
I don't think he thought we were too dumb to notice or anything. It's just a neat fact.
Brandon Henderson I have seen each episode many times and that was one of the first things I noticed
Like I said, it's just a neat fact. Nothing special, no extra meaning. Just neat.
i honestly wanna know how what stanley’s music video was called 😂😂
keira keira “2 be simple” that’s the name of the video
The Quotist thanks 😂
One more thing. Toby is the Scranton Strangler :D
0:59 that means Dwight trying to kiss oscar right after was also improvised :O
Pam and Jim were the only characters besides Dwight, that I actually was interested in the whole time. Their story was great and it honestly kind of made the show. Her character was great every season.
I would say the complete opposite.
it wouldn't be the same without all of those characters
No matter who you liked throughout the show, without the other characters you wouldn't enjoy it - Period.
The Jim and Pam combo got really stale in the middle seasons. Then after the kids the writers had no clue what to do with them and they wasted away. Dwight was really the only interesting one from beginning to end.
I can agree with that. Dwight was the one who kept me interested during seasons 4,5, and 6. I feel that's where it got stale the most.
Kevin actually talked with his normal voice for the entirety of season 1! They switched it up because they wanted him to be more quirky. Love the little facts like those.
i would love a schrute farms spinoff
I just want a series about the battle of schrute farms, honestly😂
Some things overstay their welcome, and others are completely ruined when brought back (Arrested Development, Will and Grace...).
thank u so much I'm a huge fan of the office
hugo nash same

lmaooo i just watched this today
Fact #36 I noticed that when I watched that episode!
Sure would've been nice if he'd played the clip for people who don't remember that voice
I think you are referring to fact #42. Fact #36 was John signing his own name on Meredith's cast. I'd like to know which episode #42 is talking about thought.

Elijah Gonzales stfu we all know you're a liar

I love Seth Rogen but he wouldn't have been fit for Dwight.
Eric LeBlanc if you really think about it he definitely could have been Dwight but he wouldn’t have been as good as Rainn
Toxo 27 I think he would bring a different flavor to Dwight.
"I've watched the entire series over 3 times"
Those are rookie numbers. No exaggeration, I've seen the entire series at LEAST 50 times.
Angela is nuts in that nurse costume
Holy shit
I can see Bob Odenkirk as Michael Scott and I'm pretty sure he would have been good, but Steve Carrel is the perfect Michael Scott. Odenkirk is the perfect Jimmy McGill a.k.a. Saul Goodman.
Yeah the problem is that The Office US aired way before Breaking Bad and so if he ended up being Micheal Scott then he couldn't have been Saul. Maybe there is a parallel universe where Steve Carrell is Saul Goodman lmao
A person like Michael Scott would absolutely own a Donald Trump book.
MITCHELL WIGGS Knew I’d find some hack making fun of Trump or his supporters after that last fact.
Well before you were told to believe he's Satan he was actually a highly respected though comically eccentric billionaire.
I mean he still is. He's just also the President of the United States.
Chuck Mangione Micheal Scott has a lot of parallels with trump.
I've watched all 9 seasons 45 times and I have loved every moment of it
LOLOL #45. I can only imagine it went something like: "Sorry, can't come in today, my balls are enlarged today. Give my best to the writers on strike!" Pretty ballzy move, eh? ;D
i literally had to stop the video to laugh hard at that one. Steve Carell is great.
Did anyone else cry during and after the final episode of the office 😭
Me...😒😒😒
I live near Scranton! I used to take pics at the sign all the time. until they too it all down. the steamtown mall even used to have an "Office" store too. I miss that place.
What happened to the The Office store?
It was acquired by Sabre.
Lonnie Stevens that's why o can never find the sign anymore I have seen the one at the steam town mall
If Rashida Jones wasn’t casted in both the Office and Parks and Rec they would’ve done the crossover
That was the only real reason stopping them
Even in the second half of season six and season 7 when Rashida Jones left the show with Rob Lowe
They still didn’t want to do it because the character of Anne Perkins was still around
