Hiking in Dartmoor National Park - Secret Waterfalls & Stunning Views!

Apologies for the gap in uploads! I’ve been having internet issues for the past week, but I’m pleased to say that I’m back!
In today’s video, I’m in the Hexworthy/Holne Moor area, parked up by Venford Reservoir. I head out on a walk along the overgrown banks of Venford Brook in search of the secret Twin Falls of Venford, a pair of waterfalls which don’t appear on the map! 🤫
Then I hike to the top of the ridge to take in the the stunning Bench Tor, and take a look at the stunning views of the surrounding tors and valleys!
Stay tuned for a herd of sunbathing cows, a flock of sheep who think they own the road, one farmer and his dog, and a lone duck!

Love Bench Tor it is one of our favs easy parking and we being OAPs walk the easy way up ( the way you walked back) sat and enjoyed many a pasty cuppa coffee and the views from the top never been to the falls and seeing the walk down to them dont think we will ever do that so thanks for doing it us 😍

The view from Bell Tor is my personal favourite view looking over widdecombe-in-the-moor. Nice video mate, always nice to see Dartmoor

Brilliant vid mate. I think the tor that is hard to get to is called Luckey Tor which is on os map. 👍

I can confirm that Luckey Tor is a tricky one to get to…depending which way you go. Aish Tor has good views as well. Nice video btw👍🏻

Word of warning when you decide to visit Haytor, it's very touristy! Park up by Saddle Tor and walk up 🤙🏼 Great video as usual mate!

Walked it today ! OMG hot and humid by the river and the climb up is a killer, I Suggest doing it anti clock wise, great video and was inspired to take the walk Thanks.
