There are foods that remain tantalizingly out of reach, not because they’re impossible to find, but because they’ve been outlawed in our country. So, what’s off the menu?

In the 70s, my wife's favorite May wine was pulled and banned because it contained woodruff, which contained Coucarin, an ingredient toxic to rats and mice. I have sassafras trees on my property and have made many a cup of tea with the roots.
The FDA lets things that should not be consumed pass and good things they'll stop it. Sassafras tea is the best hot drink in the wintertime. I used to dig the root of the tree, clean it, boil it, and drink it with sugar. It was a beautiful, clear red color.
"Equine" is outlawed! Horse, donkey, mule meat. Its used in salami and sausage! It's available all over the world!
Some also have camel, kangaroo, and i can even get duck, goose or sheep ribs or shanks!! Im in Florida!
You have been able to buy Absinthe in the USA since 2007. I've bought it myself here in Wisconsin, perfectly legal.
It's good if you like black licorice
@@user-pd8mi7ng7sLOVE BLACK LICORICE ❤️
I would love to try real haggis some day
It tastes a lot like pâté. Not surprising, since it's organ meat
In the States, you have to market to "the lowest common denominator" - if there is some idiot that can hurt themself you have to ban it.
I have been collecting Kinder Suprise toys in Canada since the early90’s, have over 5,000 toys and have traded with people all over the world. I even sell complete sets or the unassembled individual toys.
In the butcher shop that red dye was called " dynamite " !!
It made meat real red and people think it's real fresh!!
I thought it was called “pink slime “ 🤔
kinder surprise eggs. Shocking European death tally
There are no recorded deaths due to kinder surprise eggs, but one child in the UK in 2000 and one in France in 2016 both chocked on the toy. They had to have opened the egg to get to the toy
Both tragedies for the families involved. All small objects pose a chocking hazard, including a toy that is put in a separate half of an egg
Maggot filled cheese? No thanks... Haggis? No way... Fugu? No chance... Beluga Caviar? No money... Sea Turtle? No No...
Haggis would be my choice. I have always wanted to try it.
The temperance movement AKA The dirty trick.
Give me the FDA, any day, and twice on Sunday. I take long life over a taste of "Russian roulette" any day.
I had a kinder egg last night. From: A 62 year old in Canada!
I lived in Canada for several years & an Easter didn't go by that I didn't have at least one Kinder Egg. And a Rabbie Burns Day didn't go by without a real traditional haggis.
Obviously i have I'm from the UK and currently live in Canada 🇨🇦
my friend had absinth. I think it was from overseas. we'd burn the cube and all. one day you could take two three shots no problem. a different night and you were asking people what happened last night.
Why we don't have pasteurized chicken eggs??
A Not some, ALL OF THEM!!
Absinthe has NEVER been banned in UK
How about Gooie-duck, they aren't ducks they are a giant type of clam !!
ZOMBE'S ARE FROM THAT FISH!!
I would legalize equine meat. We can raise them on ranches and donkey doesn't take much care at all. We can't even get goat meat!! Or Sheep meat- (muttin) and where are the fish farms?? Keep that price down!!
I've had something called "horse tripe" at dim sum luncheons. (Didn't know what it was or I wouldn't have eaten it). Could it be that that's not what it was?
I'm so sick and tired of eating chicken and hamburger, it's time for a change. Maybe Trump and Musk can change things! I sure hope so??
Oh they’ll make a change all right- you won’t be able to afford meat or chicken soon……
