After the Green Knight I was like, “When I’m I gon’ see my guy Dev again?!” Then, 3 years later my guy comes back in a feature of Wes Anderson’s “The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar”, and now a complete 180 into the action genre reminiscent of Oldboy, Man from Nowhere, The Equalizer and John Wick! Monkey Man is beautiful, tragic, brutal, introspective and yea..CINEMA!!🙌🏿

Honestly, it’s my favorite film of the year thus far.

I agree to an extent.. the 1st act was a lot of fun.. second act slowed way down and was getting worried as the lore and flash backs were making a mess of things.. but that final act was unbelievable and totally made it for me.. his camera work was much better during the third which was good because all that shaky camera was annoying

Literally just saw this. Unlike the last 3 John Wick films, this has blazing action AS WELL as heart & soul. Makes for a much more satisfying watch than just 3 hours of gun porn.

Does anyone know the song that plays at the very end as the credits are going?

Wow what a film, start to finish good acting, the set-pieces were stunning, and the choreography was great. 10/10 for a Dev Patel directorial debut and glad that Jordan Peele suggested a theatrical release and not a streaming platform as I can't stop thinking about this film and want to see it again

“Perfect amount of shaky cam”. Come on! It’s one of the few but most consistent critiques of the movie. Shaky cam is supposed to be immersive but its a thin line between immersive and distracting. And this movie goes way beyond the comfort line.

Wasn’t bad. No comparison to John Wick. Wick is much more streamlined land the fight scenes are off the chain.. This wasn’t bad but, but in no way equal to J WICK.

Just seen it a few hours ago. It's boring and not really good. Action scenes with lots of shaky camera got really annoying.

I just saw it myself. Thought is to long and wasn’t really clear about many points.
