    The facts in this video are so important. I’m so glad I stopped drinking soda and indulging in super unhealthy eating habits in my forties. I ballooned up to 215 lbs. and was emotionally eating around the clock, having sadly lost my husband. I admit to having refined sugar once in a blue moon now, due to my channel’s content - but I’m now 67 going on 68 and feel like I’m 35. It wasn’t easy - but now I don’t even desire sugary-sweet processed foods. There are so many delicious, healthier alternatives. Thank you for this great, informative video.👏🏼👏🏼🥰🍏🍇

    Twenty months now eating carnivore. Completely reversed my T2 diabetes, arthritis, high blood pressure, brain fog and on and on. Before I was a clean-eating vegetarian and frequent vegan for 35 years. My health is now excellent -- no diagnoses, no meds. I'm 75 and will never go back to eating sugar, carbohydrates, seed oils, and even vegetables with their high oxalate, lectin, and other toxins. Yes, fruit is sugar, and we do not need fiber. I'm thriving eating this way. Meat, animal fat, eggs, and some butter. I love it! Edit: Oh, and BTW, one by one, numerous skin tags dried up and fell off.

      If you have the money you can do this I suppose. But if you only have money fro your daily bread you are toast. Who can afford olive oil, meat, special veggies ,etc?

    • @panamafred1
      @panamafred1 6 месяцев назад +10

      @@hendrikdebruin4012 I agree. Food is expensive. I live on a modest social security. I eat two satisfying meals a day. I eat a pound of the cheapest, highest fat ground beef for my first meal of the day. My second meal is a pound, pound-and-a-half of beef, not steak. This diet is not exciting, but I eat for health and energy. Vegetables and carbohydrates are unnecessary and damaging to health. This way of eating is very inexpensive compared to everything else. It takes a big change in mindset, but it is 100% worth it to me.

      @@panamafred1 In South Africa the old age grant is R2000 per month. That is $107. That is all you get to cover accommodation, utilities, medicine, clothing and food. Two meals of the cheapest meat still costs more than R100 here. People just cannot afford to live in the rest of the world. We know people in the USA who as family receives $5000 disability grant in the USA. That is a paygrade for the top 1 to maybe 2% of earners in South Africa.

      @@hendrikdebruin4012 It is the same here in Panama. The very poor retires on the social security program get $100 to $200 a month depending on the person's former salary. My wife and I do what we can to help one family -- he is our gardener and she is our one day a week housekeeper. Jobs for the working class, especially construction, are very few and far between. And public education is not free; books, supplies, uniforms and always something else. I don't know how they do it.

      I love when you said, "I eat for health." Many people - if not most - eat as a kind of entertainment or pastime; for many, it's the main thing they look forward to, and of course, many are very addicted to carbs.
      If I may ask, were you someone who once ate much differently? And did you find it took some time for cravings to disappear? I know a few people who do carnivore, and honestly? One of the main things I think that deters most people is their addiction to/reliance on/affection for alcohol. I even see carnivore "experts" explaining how to work it into this way of eating. Even though alcohol tends to be high in carbs, and is clearly a toxin.

      You do need vegetables as they’re antioxidants. There are certain vitamins and minerals you cannot get eating only meat. And humans are not carnivores like dogs and cats or lions. Their digestive systems are made for carnivorous diet (are able to fully function vibrantly without consuming plant materials). But humans do need vegetables and a tiny bit of complex carbs to thrive. What type of vegetables you eat matters. Water soluble fibers (apples, cabbages, broccoli and pectins) are great for your digestive health. You want to clear up skin? Eat dark and bright colored vegetables in semi-cooked form or fresh herbs. That will clear up your skin. Eating potatoes without skin or refined white wheat (the worst of all refined carbs as it’s GMO in America), refined pasta, fried potatoes (it’s oxidizing for your body, ages your cells), refined rice are not great in excess. But a small portion of complex carbohydrates (brown rice, whole grain bread) are actually great for your body. And as far as for your skin seasonal fruits in small amount are great as it has fibers and lots of vitamins and minerals.
      You felt great because you had very unhealthy diet previously. But you do need vegetables to thrive. You want to feel greater? Add seafood to your diet if you have access to fresh unfrozen seafood.

      Type 2 is a lifestyle disease, it doesn’t have to do with genetics. The only thing you “inherit” is the food choices of your parents. So if they have diabetes type 2, it means they’ve been having a crappy lifestyle and chances are you’ll follow their example.

    • @susangrande8142

      Yeah, no; T1 maybe. T2 I don’t think so. Many people, probably thousands by now, have cured, yes CURED their T2D by eating a carnivore diet, which means eating no carbs/plant matter. I’ve been eating 96% carnivore for 6 months now. I’ve seen many, many comments on carnivore youtube channels from people who have cured their T2D, normalized their weight, dropped skin tags and other diabetic symptoms, improved their mental health, gained muscle, etc. Humans are built to thrive on meat. Carbs mess up our metabolism and cause disease in humans. Please, seriously, watch some videos by Dr. Ken Berry MD, if you want some solid information about this. 🙏 Don’t believe the party line (lie) from Big Pharma that T2D isn’t curable! 🙏

    • @Cloud_Seeker
      @Cloud_Seeker 6 месяцев назад +2

      @@leykimayri To say types 2 is completely discontented from your genetics is incorrect. Some people can very much be predisposed to get type-2 at some point in their lives than other people. Also just so you know. Your lifestyle is only a risk factor in type 2. It isn't a 100% causal connection. You can have two people eating the same things in the same amount and living the same way only for one to get type 2 while the other do not.
      Fact is human biology and genetics is extremely diverse. You can not say something is 100% true as there will always be examples that prove you wrong. Humans do not have tails and do not have fur. Yet humans are sometimes born with tails and fur.
      The most likely cause that you have type 2 is because of bad lifestyle choices. But there very might be a inherent genetic trait that makes some people more vulnerable to poor lifestyle choices than others are. So it can literally "run in the family".

    • @leykimayri
      @leykimayri 6 месяцев назад

      @@Cloud_Seeker No, you are wrong, if both people eat garbage the only difference between them is WHEN they will get diabetes. This is the only "genetic" difference, how much of a strong pancreas you have, but eventually your metabolic health will be destroyed if you continue the shitty lifestyle.

      Diabetes doesn’t just happen one day. You’ve been insulin resistant for decades, but your pancreas was working full overtime and was managing to keep the glucose levels normal. When you destroyed it from too much overtime, it stopped producing those huge amounts of insulin, thus the glucose levels got higher and you were diagnosed with diabetes. However, insulin resistance is the prediabetic stage and it is basically the same thing with only difference the good functioning pancreas. A damage is still being done to the body though with all those glucose and insulin spikes and ups and downs for decades, hence your fungi

      You are free to buy land and grow your own food if you hate what the "capitalists" give you. The Amish do that all the time and so can you. But I have a feeling you will not start to grow your own food as that requires a lot of hard work without the conveniences of a modern lifestyle. So in the end it isn't the "capitalists" that force you to eat anything. You are the one that demand that food is served to you without having to do the labor for it. So the capitalists give you what you are willing to pay for, and you will pay for that food you claim you hate.

    Funny. I got diabetes and I had zero of these signs when I got it. In my case it was type-1 however and it was most likely triggered by the stress the pandemic caused in 2021.

      The stress of the pandemic eh? What a cop out!

      @@gaywizard2000 Yes. Unlike some people, my country never had a lockdown. I worked through the whole thing as I were important enough to that we might have gone under if I got sick.
      I had to try and deliver new computers to several municipalities while getting no new computers from the factories. You know. When the factory workers do not work, they can ship newly built stuff.
      However the lack of supplies does not actually mean things like leasing contracts stop. And all of the municipalities lease ALL of their computer equipment. And if there is something municipalities do not want to do, it is to pay money for stuff that is bad, old or broken.
      So my job was not only to try and find computers that did not exist.
      I was also supposed to handle that all the leased computers were sent back to the bank on scheduled, which was impossible.
      I had to managed the priorities of who got supplies. Maybe it is more important that nurses gets their new equipment rather than the cafeteria workers. In other words. It was full triage while my bosses did not even understand the issues I were dealing with. They will have sent the stuff to the cafeteria worker simply because they waited the longest.
      I had to handle the physical labor with delivery and installation of the equipment.
      I had to managed the delivery scheduled and make sure it worked with the personal during the pandemic restrictions. Which was also almost impossible as everyone took the opportunity to not be available at ANY POINT.
      I had to be in constant meetings with the leasing bank to inform them what has been returned and what has not been returned. They had lost control over the situation a long long time ago.
      I had to be in constant meetings with the customer to informed them what has been done and what has not been done. They had lost control over the situation a long time ago as well.
      At many points, vital information that cost millions existed only in my head as it was to complex to inform someone else what was going on. I tried, but they all failed to understand, and took the opportunity to become busy with something else so they can avoid dealing with that.
      I also had to be in constant talks with the end user and explain to them exactly why the delivery scheduled is to be expected to be within the next 12 months or so.
      I had to remember what a delivery should be for about 12 months. And that becomes extensive as they all start to order new equipment for what they need next year.
      I also had to rework our whole internal structure and routines of how to do our jobs while doing EVERYTHING that was said above. And it was required to be done yesterday. Apparently no one made systems to work under a complete system collapse. And not getting hardware for a year, in a business that revolves around delivering hardware is pretty much as close you get to complete systems collapse.
      We are not supposed to take 9-12 months to handle a project. We are supposed to do it in 4-5 weeks.
      Yes. Stress is not a cop out. Some of us actually had to keep the ship from sinking during that time. I am pretty sure I burnt out during that time but continued to work on regardless as every single day with me not working will only add to the problem. And it was a year of more worth of issues. It was only a few months ago we have actually managed to resolve all the issues that was started in 2020. It took 3 years to resolve. And I still deal with issues from it, but they are not that bad.

      I find it highly unlikely you developed Type 1 diabetes from stress.

    • @Cloud_Seeker
      @Cloud_Seeker 6 месяцев назад

      @@AngusT.McCraken Oh. So you know what causes it do you? Please tell the medical community then because what ACTUALLY causes type-1 is not known by anyone. We have no idea why someone develops it and why some do not. It is not something that is known to modern medical science.
      Oh btw. I got my type-1 when I was 31. I bet you are going to tell me that it also can't happen as it is very rare. Even if medical science say that you can develop type-1 at literally ANY point in your life. It is only the most common during childhood and early teens.
      What I most likely had is the underlying genetics for it. It just had never triggered. What set it off was the extreme stress I had to deal with for two years. I only actually got the symptoms around December of 2021, and I got put into the ICU in the start of February. I was actually in the ICU when the pandemic restrictions were officially released.
      This means I had to deal with this situation all of 2020, as the supply shortage had actually started before the world went into lockdown. 2020 were only mild because everyone was just buying up any supply of anyone else in the world.
      It was in 2021 things went really south as it was then all of the shortages really started to take effect as there was no one else to buy from.
      This is 2 years of never ending stress and being pressured to achieve in unsolvable situations.
      I have certain stress signals. One of the biggest is that my hair starts to fall off. When I get stressed, the muscles on my head is unable to support the weight of the hair strand (I have medium long hair for a man). So when I get really stressed I starts to shed a lot of hair. towards the end of 2021. I had been shedding hair in insane amounts. It even clogged up the shower drain several times a year. I had a screw driver inside the shower to be able to deal with the issue as I was showering.
      You might not believe it. It is the most likely situation. I think you need to go and look at the research if you think otherwise as your grasp on what type-1 is seems to be lacking.
      Type-1 is a autoimmune disease. In other words, when the body decide it has to attack itself.
      This immune response was triggered because of two years of constant stress, high levels of mental and physical exhaustion. To have the immune system going wack because of genetic reasons is likely.

Again, the “genetic” factors have to do with following the lifestyle of your parents. And yea, type 2 is REVERSIBLE when you COMPLETELY CHANGE LIFESTYLE and lose weight.
