Did not try to be disrespectful and/ or bringing down any other performances, even activities, where extreme work, and practice is required . All respect to them! I was simply pointing out ( maybe not expressing properly) that ballet is a very intensive process, extremely hard, takes years/ decades of commitment and dedication, and the result are not always guaranteed. There are other ways to dance. Use a cane as your partner. I had so much fun doing that very thing! I have an injury that has been a lifetine struggle. Injured at 29. I still suffer at 63. However, in many ways my body functions better now. Or I'm just used to it?

I was finally going achieve my own dream of purity and grace on pointed slippers on a stage... but then we were restricted, quarantined, and my dream was forever lost in the past. My inner little girl still reaching to her posters of ballerinas on point saying to herself "someday... I'm gonna be like you!" As she danced in her room to soft melodies and forever stuck in the daydream of twinkling lights tutus and an audience... it's been 7 years only now, I'm so so sorry little me... it was beautiful while it lasted💜
@LaceyLenoraDarling, you don't have to stop dancing. On some of the other ballet channels I watch, like photography by evanys, there is a woman who's 26 who is just now learning. If being a ballerina is your dream, pursuit it.
Her rotation on her back leg as she stands at the bar? Stretching and perfecting her lines and the SUPERHUMAN over rotations? Her gorgeous back and arm muscles? Her body is AMAZING!!! And they move with practiced fluid grace- like it's NOTHING? But it's EVERYTHING!!!🙏🏼🤍🤯😍
