This is so oddly nostalgic, it was sooo amazing back then having a portable Tales game. In a way I liked it more than Eternia because of the graphics. I thought that was pretty impressive.

It tells hard concepts and themes(one of the first missions is to save people of bring sold or sacrificed, but we already made something like that before and worse actually, and it doesnt go furrher, its kinda sad) but nothing very mind blowinh fantasy wise, RM1 wins that by a LOOONG shot.
Bandai Namco is doing a remaster of the tales of series from 2000 on up to I think 2009 so you may be in luck we all may be this may be the year where older tales of games make their glorious return than we all can give widdershin that beat down he deserves.

Love this series, had fun playing. Sad 2 and 3 never got an en version.
