I've been sober for 97 days!! All praise to my Lord and Savior for taking that addiction away from me!!!
God bless you and continue to give you strength!!! 🙏🙏🙏
Yup I went hard from 14-39, + weed, cocaine you name it. Said to myself, time to retire this life, quit cold turkey. Now 46 I only 7 years went from a one bedroom apartment with zero in the bank, to a house, 4 year old and a +30K portfolios and have read 40+ books on mind and finances 👍🏼🇨🇦. Including his 2 books.
Best book, you recommend?
One of the best decisions of my life was to quit drinking!!
Me too
Amen!! Me too! 6.3 years so far
Same here quit at 39, now turning 47.
Wow same here quit when I was 39 years old now 44. Best decision ever! Congrats!

Alcohol addiction made me lose my wife... I am better now and have been sober for a year, but she wouldn't give me a second chance. I have battled depression since my wife left me. I have tried all I can to make her see that I love her with everything I am made of but she has insisted on leaving. This has made me so empty, and I do not know what to do. I can barely function properly at work. I am frustrated and miserable. I really miss her.
Better Bachelor.
With all due respect.

Could you advise me on how I can meet the spiritual guide you've mentioned?
Thank you so much. I appreciate this piece of information
I believe God can deliver you from this ugly spirit of depression and that He can fill that empty void so you can carry on stronger than ever! I pray for your healing!
I've had 1 alcoholic drink since April 2023. I've never had a problem, it just started as a way to be healthier & to save myself money & keep my mind clear & focused. The thing I alway love is people acting like I'm a crazy person when I tell them I don't drink alcohol.
Wow. Really.
As a former Bartender.
There are GREAT non alcoholic beverages created in the bar.
Any bartender who sees otherwise is ignorant.
Friends on the other hand are not your friends.
I’m only two weeks in it’s a struggle especially with no real help from I thought were close ones. But I can’t give up 👍🏾
I believe you can do it. Amen!
focus on work and a hobbie, and stay away from drinking freinds, they will suck you back in.
Focus on your benefits of not drinking in health and then remind yourself that the drinking pleasure is false dopamine, it is not real it pulls you actually down, numbs you, I do not like to be pulled down! Make it your mantra and it goes a lot easier.
It was never meant to be easy on the road of living with clarity & living a genuine life you deserve and will earn with your daily actions. It's in you to be great. You have to dig deep within your mind and create small activities to stack victories for yourself day in and day out. I believe you in you more than you know it. Believe in yourself! 🙏🏼
You know, truthfully alcoholism is all in the mind. For years I’d assumed I was a functioning alcoholic and had people talking about my drinking although they’ve never seen me drunk as I only drank until I felt tipsy and I was a happy drunk. However, on the 5th December 2022 all of a sudden I just stopped drinking, thinking at the time maybe I was under the weather and not feeling it and that was really it. Since then I probably had about 5 drinks but nothing more. Having an addictive personality is a mindset that can be broken. I’ve had depressions all my life but things can only affect you if you let it. It all depends if a person is of a strong mind
Since my kundalini and tapping in I have given up the alcohol bc it makes me feel dehydrated instantly.
When you begin to make changes, those changes, change you.
Boy...did I need to hear this today...is it a coincidence? I don't believe so at all.
I stopped drinking (as of today) 244 days ago. I dont miss it at all!
quit on my 40th birthday in 97, sister 2 years younger has never stopped and looks 20 years older and is miserable and hopeless at 65
Awesome Thanks for the emotional support and education.
Almost two years sober. Highly recommend it.
Way ahead of you
I just drank two Asahi big bois for lunch with pizza. Im quite happy with my life as it is. My happiness is my time, my mental health is exercise, still splurge buy but not so much.
We admitted we were powerless over alcohol-that our lives had become unmanageable.
I dont drink, haven't for years. But there is a difference between a glass a wine person and a black out drunk like me. The oldest people I know drink wine and are healthy at 90!!!! The ones who don't drink at all or excessive, stroke out at 50.
You stopped drinking so that's means you are going 2die at 50 🤔
@@goingsolo324 nah I use the Mary Jane now. Eat, sleep and no stress. It is what it is. 💜
Me too❤
At the start alcohol is your best friend
Then it becomes your only friend
Then it becomes your worst enemy
A bit like people!!!
I quit drinking in 2019 and never looked back. I have to say quitting alcohol is the most powerful asset to my success today.
It goes from wanting a drink every day, to quitting cold turkey, to feeling ‘meh’ for two weeks, to forgetting why you picked up a bottle of liquor in the first place months later.
Now, 5 years later there’s ZERO temptation to go back or even have a sip. I’ve been around alcohol numerous times in these 5 years and I’m at the point where I can clearly see how it’s poison to the mind and body.
If you’re still struggling, just stop! Either you stop, or you don’t WANT to stop and you can continue to destroy your life.
We don’t care, you have to care. Good luck.
That's some REAL TALK. EDUCATION.
NO TYPE OF IN HOUSE rehab will make you stop.

???
I drink occasionally so I’m not addicted. I can take it or leave it. Definitely better when I have zero so I’m drinking less and less. Once every few months. I was drinking a bottle of red wine a day at least 15 years ago so you can beat this with your mind.
1 year sober
