It’s cool that their Home album was recorded in my home state of Massachusetts. One of my favorite bands, and Lajon is a cool dude. I hope to see them live someday
This interview was great. It reminds of talking to my white co-worker brothers about classic Music. No matter our different backgrounds we can always vibe over great music. Respect to you Scott
I sing “this life “ to my daughter who is almost two every night before she go to sleep. I introduces to Sevendust at Hammerstein ballroom in NJ on the animosity tour through a really good family friend Jeff S. , my favorite band ever since I was probably like 14/15 and now I’m 30 best band in the world best bad live to see and I’ve seen so many bands live. they prob. get this all the time music changes people‘s lives helps people’s lives and Sevendust has been through my whole journey Sevendust has arrived and just saw them this month in Kentucky and they still got it
Best interviews ever! I love that you ask questions from each album, there is so much information that I never knew about. You have my respect! Thank you
Best band... Been fan for decades man! By far the most underrated band, but they don't create hype over themselves...they just make EXCELLENT MUSIC! Wish them all of the best! Kind regards from Slovenia.
I’ve known LJ for 10+ years, not to mention the rest of the band and I consider them Family as you do when your a 7D OldHead like myself, it was on the All I See is Was Tour here in Lincoln NE 2018, I didn’t have $ to do the meet n greet but I was wearing my Home Shirt that I got from that Tour & my beanie that my uncle gave me from the Hope & Sorrow tour, I was walking around the back of the venue because I smoking a nice Blunt haha and as I’m putting it out on the ground I look up & See Morg, John, & Vin walking directly towards me & it was like a family reunion, we all hugged & Morg said hey man you smell good bro, I about lost it! Then Uncle Vin asked me “how come your not inside for soundcheck? I said “man I can’t afford that shit! John says “hold on” then walks inside the venue while Morg is giving me shit for my Home shirt being so old haha I feel a tap on my shoulder & its The Man LJ says what’s up brother? Why aren’t you inside for soundcheck, again I said I don’t have $ for that. He also says “hold on” I tell the guys hey enjoy soundcheck look forward to the show, next thing I know Our local Radio DJ Animal from 104.1 The Blaze comes outside and says “Your Jeff right? I said Yes, next thing I know I’m watching the boys soundcheck & LJ says “where’s my man Jeff at? I put my hands up & he said alright “let’s go” hands down one of my all time favorite memories from a 7D show aside from being at The Gothic when they filmed the acoustic show.. I’m glad to see that Morgans better, Vin the boss has his project The CEO, Clints got Godbless The renegades, the new 7D record will be out sometime in the summer. Once this whole Thing blows over I’m sure these boys are gonna kill it as they always do!!!
Man what a down-to-earth guy.....He seemed to be kind of surprised about seeing his own work on the back of each album and just being so grateful for all of it.
LJ, Luv ya brotha! Met you and Vinny a few years ago in Northampton Mass at a lil bar after your show. Had some shots and drinks and just hung out goofin off for for a while. Great people, Great band!! Still my fav out there. Glad to see you guys still goin strong!!
This is probably my favorite interview with LJ. He's always so real, but he seems even more so in this one. Very cool. So much love and respect for the 7D dudes.
Got to see Sevendust at Buzz bakesale 2004 with Korn and got to see Sevendust again in Orlando a year ago for an acoustic show. They’ll always be one of my favorite bands! ♥️
LJ, Morgan, plz, never stop writing songs. been a fan for 2+ decades and you guys remain powerful and true!! 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘 and thanks for this interview, Good Company peeps! this is juicy!
LJ is always so down to earth & kind. He’s obviously very spiritual. I only wish I could be as positive as him. He’s a great idol to have if you idolize someone.
Its crazy watching this and knowing that he just finished his vocals the day before for All is See is War. He said he sang 14 songs, wonder if we will get to hear the 2 additional songs that didn't make the album. Also one of the best interviews with Lajon, great job Scott!
Blast to hang with- total Gent. These guys r the real deal. God Bless U Lajon. I look forward to another all night burn Brother. Gonna have to do a Headflood Tune with me at some point- PLEASE?
I hear what you're saying about "we have a lot of heavy, but we want to also write songs people can relate to," and I love all of your stuff, especially now after growing up with your music. But I just really love the heavy!
Sevendust!!!! My favorite band!!! I love your interviews Scott! You ask the best questions!! The questions we all as fans wanna know!! And you know your shit!! Thank you for all you do!!!
@@Goodcompanywithbowling Meeting Sevendust for the second time this Saturday in Indianapolis😳 by the way your interviews are fantastic, fuck get me on the show😂
Wow this insight into the albums were so good! I mean wow! I especially noticed that about the Kill The Flaw album cover how it reminded me of Ed Hardy shirts and that vivid stuff
Scott, this interview was so in depth, it is unreal. As a fan of 7D since 2001, you knew so much about the band, and their lesser known songs and history, it's amazing. You had every detail about the bands history and origin of songs. I was impressed!!!. I will be subscribing to your channel. You are not just one of those interviewers that ask the same questions over again, you're much better!!!. Salute from LA, looking forward to future episodes!
these are always fantastic interviews, loved the one with Clint. The only thing is the audio always seems to have some bad phasing issues and is very distracting at times. The content and interviews are solid though. Thank you for doing these
One of the best and one of the most underrated metal singers of all time, Scott you should talk with the Novelists guys in the futre really underrated band and they are insanely talented
the Song he sings is Number one the ballad which was on the Japanese release of Seasons, Rain has as different chorus, it goes like "I wanna be the who's loved, No.1 goes like "Down to my last stand, try n take my hand" both great B sides, very underrated tracks.. Cant wait to see the boys In October here in Lincoln
Scott Bowling I thought i was the only 7D old head who knew those songs haha the Cover Of Inner city blues is amzing also.. I agree 100$ with your comments on the Seasons album, Separate would be killer to hear live!!
He's so humble. Y-Y he's one of the reasons why i loved the band since i was a kid :D Are you able to interview Kevin Palmer from trust Company in the future? :D
Hi I'm a lovely African American FEMALE😳😳😳just saying hi to you...hope to meet you one day..ive always have listened to your 🎶 you're a cool dude.😘😎😎😎.🎸🎸🎸👄👄👄
I know Dave Grohl has a reputation for being the nicest guy in rock and all, but I think Lajon holds that title. Stand up guy right there.

Dude is a great singer.
Awesome!
IMO, the best in the genre. That soulful tone in a rock song is so unique and awesome. Such an underappreciated band.
