- Today, I shared a fun background technique using Washi Tape! This is a great way to use up some of the Washi Tape that's hiding in your drawer and it creates a beautiful backdrop for any card project. You can also cut strips of Masking Magic masking paper to do the same thing if you don't have any washi tape.

Hello how you doing
Beautiful card. Had to buy the set 💕
I think I heard somewhere if you pull the washi tape back on itself as flat as possible to the paper it's less likely to tear...not sure if that's a thing (hope that makes sense) 🤷🏻♀️😁🥰
Love this washi back round and butterfly
What a cool technique for a background!

Hello Narcy how you doing
Grateful you posted this on a community page with link Gina because I did not get notification.
Hi Gina and Tom, I enjoy every thing you do. Gina do ever use your brown paper you use on the bottom of the cardstock. You have beautiful background on the craft paper(brown paper). Have ever use it on some of your cards. Please try it sometime. You do magic all the time with your cards. Great backgrounds for masculine cards. Thank you for the 15% off.
Looks so pretty
Always such fun techniques!
great techniques, love the card!

Hello Rebecca how you doing
Your card is absolutely beautiful! Do you know if I could put masking magic through the printer to make stickers?
You probably can however they won’t be very sticky.
Re watch. So beautiful
Another pretty card (also check out the one she made 2 weeks ago with the other butterfly, very similar)
Hello Lynne how you doing

Hello how you doing
Hard to make the wed nooner. But love the replay
It’s so incredible. Love the design that background became.
Sorry I’m watching late
What’s the name of the “brown paper” you use? Using wash I tape to do the lattice is great; I have to retry that.
It's called "Kraft". There's also a lighter tan beige called "Sandy Beach" 🥰
Just a piece of Kraft card stock. :)
Nice VIDEO
Hi Gina, do have or know where one could obtain a menorah stencil.
I’m so sorry, I don’t! 💙
Is there a code/coupon for the 15% sale price? Thank you.
It’s LABOR15
@@GinaKDesigns-StampTV Thank you!!! I have placed my order, so excited!
Hey Gina and Tom😁
Awww, I just put in an order prior to hearing about the sale! 😢
😢So sad. Everything on my wish list is also on the waitlist. I will have to catch a sale another time.😭
Me too!😢
I placed an order and forgot to use the code. I send an email.
Have you had any experience with masking fluid?… I just received some, as a gift…it came in a kit with different size pen bibs and a pen holder…for some reason, new products scare me a bit, 🧐and I end up, just staring at them awhile, before I get my nerve up, to try them!🥴
I do not want to waste them, by using them wrong.
(For Heavens Sake!🙄….
…It is not like, I do not have lots of waste scrap pieces of all kinds of paper!🤨…. and it probably is not wasting a few drops of a product to figure out how to use it…so I guess that excuse holds no water at all!🤣)…
…Anyway, I seem to be that way about all Arts and crafts supplies… journals etc.
…I hope I am not turning into an eccentric, old lady, craft supply
Hoarder!😳
( Full disclosure, when I asked my friend,if I was… She stated:
“ Well, I would not say your turning into one….Because, you turned that corner… a long time ago!”🤣…. (Nothing like a best friend, to take you down to reality, whether you need it or not😆)…
Anyway, I loved this video, Thank you❤️
P.S…. I had the same Washi tape
“Monkey on my back”.
Then I figured what better way to use up old stash, than to make cylindrical paper beads with all my grand nieces and nephew!
You just back the first inch or so, with tissue paper, so it does not stick to your roller, roll it up.
Seal it, with matte or glossy finish, and there you go!
…We all love stringing our beautiful beads!..
….If your washi tape does not seem to want to I peel….
…Pam from the paper outpost suggests, sticking it in the microwave for several seconds.
( probably depends on your microwave, and how old your washi tape is?)
My washi is a few years old.
