    Looks like you could use one border collie or three kelpies to get the job done.

      Please!!, if BC was a better sheep dog in Australia everyone would be using them, but they don't they use kelpies, breed for our climate and conditions.
      Most expensive border collie ever sold as a farm dog was $39k, best kelpie sold for $49k back in 2022, works on a farm in Oberon🤷‍♂️

      We used a blue heeler and a BC cross kelpie, these 2 dogs worked 500 - 800 head with 3 horses consistently.

      Great team there.
      I have currently got a seven month old Kooli bitch who is too good for the work. I have here in the western districts Victoria. Can you make any introductions for a better placement for her something more like working with cattle like yours?

      @@shawsie5780 - go to the Dubbo region and you will find Bc short coats and long legs - bred for work in outback NSW - see Mick and Father Pip Hutson ( I like traditional but I am in Western Districts Victoria)
