Eu queria saber quem fez a Direção de Arte desse clipe do Metallica. Nesse do Draconian a fotógrafa Natalia Drepina fez tudo. Ela trabalhou toda a parte visual do álbum.

Yeah dude, these guys are doing some Epic shit, not just in their genre, but In General! Usually the stuff I like has a bit of a following, and I was so excited to see that these guys- unlike a lot of great acts- are actually getting the respect they deserve. (Though, we may argue, at least 100M more people should be aware of them, and then we may rest).

@@Neamow I believe Sophia is mother of Saklas/the Demiurge, the God of the Old Testament in Gnosticism (whom Eve calls a demon in the song). But I agree they both represent similar themes of wisdom and femininity.
@@GuyN1ce Sophia is actually both Eve and Lilith - they are faces of the same force. Both of them are different archtypes of the same feminine energy - whereas Lilith is the dark archtype that defies the flow of creation, Eve is the light one.

Sethians were one of the main Gnostic groups (along with Valentinians and Basilidians). Their main theology principles were: 1. They atrributed gnosis to the Seth, third son of the Adam and Eve. 2. Norea (Sophia after the fall from grace) was next notable figure and thought to be the wife of Noah 3. Christ never got a physical body, his presence was rather spiritual projection. They believed Seth and Jesus to be the one figure actually. 4. God of Old Testament/Jahwe was a malevolent demiurge spawned by accident when Sophia tried to emmanate power without the knowledge of others aeons. 5. Snake in the garden was actually a symbol of liberation from Saklas rule. "Abject patriarch of insolence"- Gnostics contested church order "My knees won't bend My hands won't fold"- pretty much self-explanatiory- act of expostulation against demiurge.
Love Gnosticism, but don't take every doctrine much seriously.

This is becoming one of my favorite tracks, so so good.
I feel Natalia Drepina is amazingly embodiying the gnostic eon Sophia in this serie of Draconian videos (previously in "Sorrow of Sophia").Moreover, the music video "Sleepwalkers" is the most beautiful one I´ve ever watched. I think the album "Under a Godless Veil" and Drepina´s art match perfectly. Hopefully the band and the artist continue with their collaboration.

I was explaining this at length in a thread about a it higher up. The user would have wanted to see us band members participating in the video, but reading your comment you seem to resonate with us. Natalia is all over this album... almost all visual representations apart from two lyric videos. It needs to bge consistent and especially with this last video for the album.
And like yourself I am very thrilled by the Sleepwalkers video. That was all her. I just okayed the script and talking with her it already seemed magnificent so I had no doubt really.

Heike's vocal run beginning around 5:40 is the purest example of vocal greatness! Control, power, and emotion. She is one best vocalists of any genre on this earth. Anders and Johan masters of their craft!! A North American tour someday?, I can only hope.

They were altered to fit a certain narrative, so then Christianity got politicised as a tool for social control. The Christos was first introduced as "Seth" in the story. So Jesus, Seth... even Hermes, Thoth and Lucifer (yes!) was also manifestations, or well, the latter, at least representations of his power and intent.

not enough can be said for how crafted the songs are ---when the guitar solo weaves into view it delivers on all accounts my attraction to Heike goes beyond normal into long daydreams of alternate reality and possibility ..every musician here on top of their game it really is the components of a masterpiece down to even how to tune your guitar to this and get that feel ... brutal real sad evoking fragile timeless alot of words come to mind Draconian high art ...
