    I love that you and Warren take the time to properly teach your children how to hunt. Wonderful skill to learn. And love the special bathroom accommodations. Warren takes good care of his ladies and is funny too! 😂 Val C

    Growing up in a very big hunting family that lived and breathed all things wildlife hunting I was in absolute stitches over all the hunting prep. First, Warren already has a soft spot in my heart because he grows and harvests one of my favorite fruits but he elevated his place being so thoughtful about the facilities! God love a thoughtful helpmate!!! I must say though that Joe had me in stitches which he usually always does every time he makes an appearance but his dissatisfaction with the whole seating arrangement task was comic gold…for me. I’m not making fun of him, just reveling in his take on all things life related. My folks were great friends with a couple who also raised a Down’s syndrome child until she passed at the age of 40. She too had an extremely strong idea about life and was very much able to vocalize her opinions. Always as parents we are constantly guiding and teaching no matter age or skill level so Joe will be the better for the extra mentoring and guidance. I pray for all our families raising special needs children but I always have a few extra words offered up for Joe as well as both you and Warren for doing such a great job integrating Joe into the every day of your family. God is smiling down on your parenting skills of that I am certain. Hoping you have great success with the 2024 deer hunting season and hope you had the best Thanksgiving with your family. Looking forward to our next visit as we creep ever closer to Christmas and another turn of the calendar year. Just where did 2024 go I ask!!!:):):)

    Jennifer….i made your cranberry bars for Thanksgiving dessert this year. They were a big hit. I finely grated an entire orange peel into the batter and not only was it very delicious, it was so aromatic. Cranberry and orange go together so well. I hope you and your family had a wonderful Thanksgiving.

    Jennifer, a few years ago I made those cranberry bars. Those bars were one of the most delicious dessert bars I have ever eaten. Unfortunately, I have found out I was diabetic, which I have gotten controlled down to pre-diabetic . I still have to watch what I eat so I really miss them. They just are so, so good❤

    This was so much fun to watch. I was raised in a hunting family. I was best at squirrel hunting and cleaning. My brother was the deer hunter in our family. On the back of my dad's mud truck. He weild a flip toilet seat and you could put with clips a bag if needed. He said I take care of my ladies. My sister is funny , she using a device that she can stand and tickle. Didn't tell her to husband went over by tree and she didn't bend down. His face was so funny. You know hunters and we would live out at the hunting club. Lots of family and friends.
    Be safe. Prayers for all hunters. Bars looked good.

    OMG I could have used that the other day! Our sewer line to our septic blew out! We had a septic clean out plummer, and plummer found it. Water or washroom could not be used. My hubby being the man he us said " I bear I s#![ in woods" my other 2 boys basically said same thing. Yea, well, I'm not a bear! And there has been a Lynx spotted many times lately around our property, so NO I WAS NOT. HAhaha rented a hotel for 2 nights. Luckily, the great contractors around here had it dug up trees down and replaced the next day by noon. So hopefully, there will be no problems for the next 15 yrs!

    I hope you fill all your tags. What happens if you don't fill all your tags, do you have to turn them back in ?
    Also, do you have to buy the tags ?

      Hunting licenses are purchased as are doe tags for our unit. The unfilled tags are just that. We don't get reimbursed for them.

    Hi Jen! Honestly, I’ve waited before watching your hunting videos. I have no problem with you folks hunting. I know that you eat the Deer you hunt and I’m ok with that because you don’t kill just for sport. I don’t have the heart to kill - or the stomach. Here in Staten Island, we actually have quite a few deer and I have to swerve my car early In the morning (on my way to dialysis), to avoid hitting them. They tend to run across the road either running away from mating or looking for food in people’s garbage cans. We also have a huge amount of turkeys who just tend to hang out in the middle of the road. I need to stop my car and wait until they decide to cross the road. So I actually had to laugh when I see Peter go hunting for turkeys. Here, he could just bring a leash instead of a gun. At night, they sleep in the trees. Most recently, there have been a lot of red fox sightings. Staten Island is a suburb of New York City, mind you. Growing up in the seventies, we had none of these animals. I’m not sure how they have all gotten here, but they’re multiplying like crazy. When I see a bear in my yard, I’m moving. lol.

    • @acountrylife
      @acountrylife  Месяц назад +1

      Animals can easily adapt to suburban life. Keep your eye’s peeled for animals when you’re on the road.
