Traded in a 2010 Dodge Challenger RT for a 2012 V-6 Mustang Convertable. Mustang hands down. Its light and fast. Just love it.

Good review! I rented one of these baby's a while ago before I got my hands on my 2008 Mustang Bullitt. I remember loving how fast it felt when a few of my friends took it out on an empty parking lot. I remember looking at the gauge fly to 60 like it was ready to race and feeling this adrenaline rush, but the car rental company limited the v6 Mustang I rented to only 80MPH. :D I'd do it again!
One of the great things about convertibles that reviewers seldom mention is convenient storage. With the top down on a convertible, it's a cinch to stash bulky items in the rear seat compartment from the side of the car.
Two door coupes, on the other hand, unless they have a hatchback, leave the space behind the front seats almost inaccessible.
One must open the door, tilt the seats forward, then "tunnel" headfirst into rear seat compartment while holding the stuff to be stashed.

I used to have a two seater Alfa Romeo Spider.
It was surprisingly convenient despite its small size. The convertible top was a big factor. With the top down, I could drop several grocery bags behind the seats whild standing by the side of the car.
I never saw your video reviews before. Just stumbled across them. I like your "just an ordinary guy talking common sense" approach.

I test drove a mustang 2012 premium convertible in saint john new brunswick, canada and believe it or not I had to stop for a mother duck and at least eight baby ones following her across the road. I thought it was a sign of good things to come, I bought the car and love it. The colour is kona blue mettalic.

I agree too, finally, but they gotta do something with the Impala, I seen spyshots, nice, but they take too long to change anything for the better except the Malibu.

the premium comes with all the lighting and the shaker stereo. There is a HUGE difference between the regular stereo and the shaker so unless you're planning on fucking with your car to install an ugly aftermarket stereo the shaker alone almost gives you enough reason to get the premium.
I have a 07 premium convertible and it makes my friend's 06 base v6 look stripped down.
love the car - kind of scary in snow since it's rear drive and pretty light.

Also, I read that Ford is going to start over with a clean sheet of paper in 2015.
It's going to make the Mustang smaller and lighter, enabling it to get about the same performance with less fuel consumption.
Sounds good to me! I've always liked the Mazda Miata. But I've also wanted just a shade more raw horsepower.
The Mustang, like the Camaro, is a 2+2. If Ford can get the weight down to just over 3000 lbs, that would be near ideal.
Have you heard any more of the details about that?

Id choose the Mustang or the Camaro.
Mustangs don't make you feel claustrophobic, they have that clean simple dash ( i like!), and they have the wow factor without overdoing it. I have always wanted a Mustang and would choose it bc the Camaro was never updated enough, what 2 times in 20 years.
I do like Camaros from the 80's and 70's, I just wish Chevy would have done more for their cars during the 90's Like Ford tried to, even thought the Taurus looked the same for years there alot still.
