These actors are worldwide treasures. Each time I hear Cynthia sing "I'm Here," I feel incredibly blessed to be alive at a time I can hear it. Oh, and if you haven't seen it yet, she plays Harriet Tubman in the 2019 film Harriet. Sings a bit in it, too. Might be worth your time if you like history.

You HAVE to react to just Cy this Erico singing “I’m Here” the entire song. You will be in tears for sure. It’s such an emotional song and act this sings it like no one ever has or ever will, I truly believe that. And yes you have to see the movie it’s amazing. Opera is in the movie btw. It’s not a musical, but it’s such a staple movie in the black community and just a great movie all around. But please react to Cynthia Erivo “I’m Here” the best version is from the play but her singing it on one of the kate shows is great as well, just missing some of the verse due to time.

There’s a movie for you to watch. It’s one of those movies you only need to see once. So many dark subjects in one film.
Definitely Watch the movie directed by Steven Spielberg and starring Whoopi Goldberg
Its a movie literally explaining generational trauma. Hard to watch but so relevant today. Im glad theyre doing the musical version. In my opinion it was Whoopie at her finest. Her and Oprah both, to be able to sink into those characters whoo.
