Wow, what a review! First thing: the image quality and viewing angle, which allowed me to appreciate the real proportions of this Clawful Cartoon, but also of the mini Orko, which I had been wondering for quite some time if it was adapted to Cartoon scale. Answer yes, and it will do the job while Mattel publishes the little magician in the Cartoon line. I agree with you regarding The Sorceress... I think it won't be too long before we hear about her since this is the second time she's been Teased. You know what I think, I bet a Zoar / The Sorceress two-pack 😁 Coming back to Clawful, I also don't own the Club Grayskull version, but from what I see in this video it's not a big deal since the Cartoon version is very successful🤟. The colors are flashier here, it's true, but it remains more in line with the 80's cartoon, especially since the face is very successful. Finally, like you I'm hoping for a huge Castle Grayskull (in which case RIP Wallet 😂), because it would indeed be a scene to reproduce... Especially since if it's you who takes care of it, we can be sure of the result given the care you take with the image. Your shot on the villains, at the end of the video, gives an excellent idea of what the Cartoon range is becoming (i.e. an essential 😁). I digress for a moment to tell you that I, who am French, take enormous pleasure in watching your videos because your pronunciation is perfect, the rhythm cool and everything very exhaustive. So I hope that your channel will gain the success it deserves because, sincerely, you present something very professional and very accomplished each time. Thank you for this superb presentation work, Douglas, it exudes passion and enthusiasm, and it obviously makes you want to discover your next reviews with this Cartoon range 🤟
Using the Eternia Minis Orko to recreate that stock image was brilliant. 🔥 You are correct, Orko is not usually that small. As much as I love Filmation, I think that scene with Clawful was an inconsistency in Orko's actual scale simply to portray his capture, and, to highlight Clawful's "grip of evil." Yes, the Origins Orko is way too large of a scale, as the 1984 figure was. I have him posed with my Club Grayskull figures on my shelf, and have only photographed him with Club Grayskull figures. In my Origins collection, I have the Loyal Subjects Orko displayed. If Orko is scaled too large, it just looks off. Though I understand why it is so. He's an important character and deserves his own sku. Though, scaling him down properly would not give you the bang for your buck, so they make him larger. Personally, I would prefer to always see Orko included in a 2-pack, like the Classics line, so his smaller, proper scale would not be an issue. Sorry to go on and on about Orko as this is a Clawful review. In think Clawful looks great! I dig the colors on this guy. Interesting that he doesn't have the spikes continuing down his upper back like in the series and on his Club Grayskull counterpart, thought I honestly don't think it detracts from the overall aesthetic at all. Looking forward to finding him on the pegs - or his delivery from BBTS - whichever comes first! 😂😂😂
I hope BBTS get Spikor & Clawful in stock soon. I already have to wait 2-3 weeks to get them shipped to Australia. I haven't heard that The Sorceress is coming to the CC line, but she's gotta right? She's a main. Same as we need a CC Kobra Khan. If Mattel make a Filmation scale Orko, they should do a 2 or 3 pack with some other Trollans. And yes there was a Club Grayskull Clawful apparently, I just looked it up. Great review as always.
