I'm about to start flight training in a few months, this is one of the better flight channels I've found on RUclips. Thanks for answering all the questions!
"Nice food I've prepared myself or my lovely wife has prepared for me." Awww. This takes away that perception of pilots are meticulous human-droids and shows us the true caring and loving yet very skilled person behind the yoke of an aircraft. Have a lovely day, Captain!
Thanks for this video on what is a top priority for daily life, and what I have taken from a fictional literature and film hero: Jack Reacher. His words are: Eat while you can. It's a planning and execution exercise for daily life that can influences one as you stated. And when dealing with a stressful situation in the office, traffic, home, engine out, broken control cable or even a gear up landing. Have a chocolate/ cereal bar to eat and then deal with the issue. Super video on such an important topic. Regards, D
Hi Mentour, thanks for some great contents here. Keep on doing that, because you are doing a good job:) Maybe you can do a separate podcast about preparation for the type rating. What to do before you start the ground school? Use commercial publication like b737 tech guide or official manuals? As I will start my Type rating in about one month it will be valuable to know opinion of a boeing instructor.
+Mentour Pilot I would like to know what are the limits of the expenses under which you will be paid back by your employer when you arrive at destination for the hotel cost food cost and other costs. How is the hotel at your destination, the food quality, how many days you get to stay there and what are the activities you're allowed to do over there.
Do you do long haul? Would be good to see the pilots sleeping cabins. Good tip about drinking water too. I like your channel because you give us the flip side to flying. As a passenger, we never know the full story.
Hey! You are really doing a great job with these channel. Can you recommend some flight schools? The pros and cons of each school. For instance some schools gives you a college degree with their program.
Are you able to pack any food? For example in Australia, you aren't able to bring milk and I think bread on board, they take it away during baggage X-Ray. I might be wrong about this but this was what happened to me as a passenger 2 years ago.
I know this video is old, I just found your channel and it's entertaining. You mentioned drinking a lot and staying hydrated. Do pilots have their own bathroom?
Thank you so much for providing such great, detailed videos! I was wondering if being a pilot is stressful? And do you take home any work? And if it is better to take your pilot training through a flight school a little at a time or if it is better to go into an aviation college? Thank you so much!
The is a nice vid about Lufthansa Cargo and the MD11 around the globe in 66 hours and they mention exactly the same. Tthere are two different meals for safey. In one of the shifts the poor F.O. ask Captain what dish he prefeer and the F.O. will eat the other one ... Well, at least FO got something to eat. Its a nice vid really, focused in a very special lifestyle and a magnificent plane and workhorse like the MD11
Hi, I am a Sri Lankan, 26years old doing my final year of MBBS. But my passion for piloting has ever been growing so strong now I don’t even mind switching my career to be a commercial pilot. Given my age, am I too late?
With talk of a 17 hour flight being announced between the US and Singapore I wondered if you could cast some light on how such a flight would be handled crew wise.
Does the aviation community have an internal journal /newsletter keeping you up to date on events, news etc within aviation When I worked in the legal profession we had a monthly "law digest" sent round with news, important events and CPD info
Love the channel, just subscribed. What do pilots eat for dinner in between shifts during a trip? I would imagine it would get very expensive to go out everytime you have a night away from home.
So what do you do when you eat and suddenly you get a nice cabin altitude warning. do you just toss the food over your shoulder? also what about the other part of eating? when and where do you get the result of it out? So when you crumble your cookies all over the seat and console, who does clean it up?
Great Video again Sir as usual . Can u make a Video on " Pilot Log book" How the hours are counted per flight? who enter then and how to keep record the hours you fly? etc Regards
+Kris Dedsec who said you have to look like pilot material to even have an interest in it, thank good you don't have the last say on that for anyone..i don't think Mentor encourages hate comment such as your own.
+Kris Dedsec your comment is not appreciated..i love aviation regardless of what my picuter shows, inappropriate comment...."Frequency Change Approved...Good day"
Given that security is the same for crew as for passengers, does it follow that you can only drnk water from onboard supplies? What if you have a favourite energy drink that your employer doesn't sell?
Hello mentour, this was actualy a question that i never realised i had and and it was there all the time so thanks for making a video about it.Now another question.Do pilots get to exercise in their everyday life?If yes being muscular or being a little bit bigger than a normal guy does this affect your career as a pilot(and finding a job as well)?
+Dinos gianno I wonder if they do a test on steroids/stimulants, too.... but, really, I've never seen an overly muscular pilot. Pilots doing cardio is luckily quite common (avoiding diabetes, maintaining a good cardiovascular system, weight management etc.).But heavy-lifting pilots are really rare (Yes! One would see that!-Sorry i have a good eye for that as I'm female haha). Maybe, if you're a longhaul pilot with more days off then a (natural) muscular body could be pretty manageable (I'm into natural Bodybuilding and heavy lifting myself). Of course there are many 'buff dudes' holding a PPL.Having regular medicals might also be a good reason why there are no ready-for-stage-bodybuilders on the flightdeck (at least for wannabe-juicers, just take a look at the sideaffects of steroids: high blood pressure, mood swings etc.- it could easily cost your job) Gaining and maintaing muscles takes time and effort, so in a busy flight schedule your priorities are definitely not in getting the best gym but in getting the next best bed to sleep.... (Please correct me if I'm mistaken, I'm just a -hopefully- future pilot!)offtopic:For those who lift heavy: imagine yourself after leg day on a flight- you'll probably need the mobility service to push your wheelchair to the plane because you cant walk ;)What I wonder: has somebody ever pushed a plane manually back? I mean, really pushing it with their body without reverse thrust. I've seen a strongman pulling an empty A380... hmm,,, maybe I should try a "lightweight" Gulfstream first ;P
Thanks for your effort on writting such an answer!I think i got what i wanted out of it.The thing is that i am 188cm and by nature i look big and i also like lifting which makes me look a little bit bigger,so thats why i am afraid.
When you mention bringing your own homemade food, it makes me think Do pilots have to deal with baggage weight restrictions ? And what about liquids ? I know pilots do have to go through airport security like passengers but please answer my 2 questions. Thank's !
Thank you for the information, very useful! I have question: why there aren't any cameras in and out of airplane monitoring all decks, from cargo right way up till business class and fuselage, so that Captain could see in case something happens
Great informative videos as always thumbs up. I have a question can u do a video on eye sight of a pilot meaning if I have a weak eye sight or hv undergone a laser surgery can I become a pilot.. Thanks
i have problems with maths and my dad said i should go to art department but i want to go to science because i love piloting and everything about it can u help and advice me and if i go to art class i will not have any experience of physics but i will still have for maths
Sir I have a question sometimes when I am flying through aircraft I have observed that aircraft shaking and it's fearful actually what is it cloud interfering to engine or what?
Generally speaking, how many fligths works a pilot on a short-medium haul? I mean, you are based in Gerona, you take off in the morning and go say to Rome (I am Italian, so I take that as a reference, sorry), then I don't know.. from Rome would you go back to Gerona and then back out, or from Rome you would go somewhere else, and back or somewhere else again and back? I am just curious as to how your schedule, or a schedule of a pilot like you could be.
Georg Steinhauser nope your not allowed to bring liquids through security. They will ask you to throw them away before you go to the security department.
I LOVE you MAN , I LIKE WATCHING YOUR CONTENT , U ARE MY Ideal ..... one question , how to pick a good flight school in Europe , how to know that the package is good enough , any idea about flyby school in spain , any detailed advises related to this topic thanks in advance
Great video again i was just wondering say you were hoing on holiday with you family and you went on that airline that you work for do you get a discount and fly in first class? Also i got one more question say on of the pilot said to the other pilot i am tired i cant fly the plane while doing a long hall flight at night what would happen many thanks 👌
IM NOT AN EXPERT BUT ILL ATTEMPT TO ANSWER UR Q: IF U WORK FOR THE SAME AIRLINE AND U GO ON HOLIDAY WITH UR RELATIVES THERE WILL BE A DISCOUNT BUT I DONT THINK THIS IS FOR ALL AIRLINES BUT I THINK THE MOST POPULAR AND FAMOUS AIRLINES IN THE WORLD WILL GIVE U A DISCOUNT SUCH AS: QATAR AIRWAYS AND EMIRATES AIRWAYS. THEN U MIGHT UPGRADE AND BOOK FOR BUSINESS OR FIRST BUT THIS ALSO DEPENDS ON TIME OF YEAR THAT U BOOK UR FLIGHT. THE DISCOUNT MIGHT NOT BE A HUGE FIGUR. ON MY PERSONAL EXPERIANCE I THINK THE DISCOUNY VARIES FROM AIRLINE TO OTHER AS I MENTIONED EARLIER. MAYBE 15% TO 50% I THINK. THATS ALL FROM ME AND SORRY IF I GOT TO REPETITIVE THERE. TAKE CARE!!!
Can you tell me about circadian rhythms. I understand that some time ago certain airlines used to chart them for pilots and they would not be allowed to fly if they were having a triple low - emotional - physicogal - physical. is this still done?
it is logical to assume they would be allowed to get up during flight not only is it dangerous to stay seated for 7-8+ hours continuously but also because well... when you gotta go you gotta go
Redoxiz it depends on the length of the trip and circumstances. if one receives a call from Mother Nature and we're safely at altitude, a bathroom break is permitted.
Redoxiz normally we don't just walk through the plane unless we're using the bathroom. there are occasions when we do have to travel into the cabin but that's a while other post😉
Hi guys I am in flight training right now and m starting to loose interest the reason being is coz I get sick very quickly even on smooth flights at the moment I don’t eat anything 3 hours before the flight any tips on what I can change because I love this and I don’t want to push my self away from my dreams
Can I just state something, and I am very sorry if I destroy any hopes for you guys if you wanted to be an airline pilot. Isn't fly (piloting) aircrafts a very dangerous and risky job, because in the past couple of years there has been alot of aviation accidents involving commercial aircrafts and the loss of lives such as: Malaysian Airlines flight MH370 that vanished and Germanwing. What is the likely chance of you being involved in an incident? (as crew member OR a passenger)
If the crew prepared their own food, won't it increase the risk of being incapacitated as compared to the foods cooked and packed by the catering service?
is there time for gym bro ? and what do pilots do after arriving at airports? please answer my questions it's important to me. great videos by the way and it really helps and answered many questions in my mind Advanced thanks
Mentour Pilot can i get video on the requirement of airlines in a pilot (i mean i have heard all airlines need 1500 hrs to join as pilot ) if u can answer there ??
Recording is fine, as long as the device doesn't get in your way or distract you during key points of flying (aka takeoff and landing), so your allowed to hit record and do what ever, as long as you don't fuss about it
Hey again! Sorry to ask (yet another) question. I've been researching the Aviation field, in general, these past few months, and some of the 'research' I found has seemed to put me off becoming a pilot whatsoever. Of which, the primary put-off for me, was the apparent fact that training to become a pilot is ridiculously expensive ever since most airlines figured out that some 'better-off' (financially) pilots were willing to pay for their own training if need be. I am not from a 'financially-advantaged' background, and therefore repaying student loans going up to £80,000, even after time, is unfortunately for me not a economically viable option. I try and achieve the grades needed, and I have no problem with that side of things, however since I am as of a month 15 years old, I feel like I should really find a career aspiration and stick with it, therefore I would really appreciate your own experience with pilot training and some of your advice to help me in this situation. :)
+Mentour Pilot Hi, thanks for the information. And, I have two further questions (if you don't mind). One of them is regarding the 'Cadet' schemes, what is the minimum age requirement. Secondly, will those state-sponsored training schemes even accept a UK citizen? And if so, will they require you to speak their respective languages?
Hey Mentour :D, firstly i would like to thank you, for your always great Videos and because of that youve got a new suscriber :) but I also have a question, which quite interests me, I dont know your channel for such a long period of time. Thats also why I didnt figured out if you mentioned the airline you are currently flying for, if you did, i am sorry, because then I didnt watched the Video you said that in, but I can imagine which airline it is. I dreamed of being a pilot since I was 6 or 7 years of age, and I always motivated myself with my dream, so that i am now about to make my "Abitur" (German) in roughly one year, and my marks are quite good. But one thing makes me worry if I can archive my goal, it is my overweight, im not extremely heavy, but I have "visually noticeable overweight", and of course I do my best to lose weight, because I am aware of the fact, that it is better to be thin than "thick" and I also understand that. But I wondered, how much does overweight affect your chances at an airline? I also heard that there are some airline which doesnt worry about the weight that much, but I also heard that there are also some airlines as the Swiss which are careing about your weight pretty much. And if I may ask that, if you have colleagues which also have overweight, and what are the standards in your airline and the branch? I know thats a long and partly private question, but I would be really happy, if you would answer me. Thanks you and always three greens ;)
THIS IS AN IMPORTANT Q & I HOPE IT GETS ANSWERED ASAP: WHAT PLANE DO U FLY AND IF I WAS A PILOT DO I GET TO CHOOSE WHAT PLANE DO I FLY, OR DO THEY JUST FIVE U ONE AND U HAVE TO GET ON WITH IT.
+Sallah AL Houssawi You start as a new-hire on the smallest airplane they have. As you build seniority over time (3 to 10 years) you can move up eventually to captain and then after some more years you can move up to First Officer on a bigger airplane, and then after some years upgrade to captain on that airplane and on and on.
You choose the airplane during your training but with some airlines you have no choice during your training after that you will be working on that plane either Airbus 320/321 or Boeing 737, after few years you might train on other aircrafts before you can fly them. Simulator training that is.
KALPAK KANNAUJIA no, even though the plane is set up in the cruise, we always have things to do. monitoring the autopilot. as advanced as they are, we never leave them to their own devices..I have seen them do some startling things. checking our progress against the flight plan, fuel usage, XM weather, engine parameters, listening to atc and staying alert, you get the idea. in turbine powered aircraft, things happen quickly. the mindset is, you need to be at least 25 minutes "ahead" in the flight, otherwise you are behind the airplane. always something to do.
Hey! I'm 13 years old guy from Lithuania. i got interested into aviation and pilot profession since i was 7. started gliding with kid gliders , and im starting my real gliding studies this year. wanted to ask you a few questions: Do you know Baltic Aviation Academy? if you do , what do you think about it? and id like to know , what tests do you take to pass for EASA 1ST Class Medical Certificate? I wanted to contact you trough email , but couldnt find it anywhere. Please share your email! :) Thanks for amazing videos , keep it up! you are keeping me on the way to become a pilot!
sir , i'm 15years old and aviation is my dream which i will never leave and i want to ask you what should i do in my free time to increse from chances of being pilot and makes college studiees easier now i'm working on languges and i've got 6 but i dont know what to do now . also i want to ask if there is way to messege you not in comments on whatsapp or facebook or even twiter . thanks !!
+Mentour Pilot Thankyou, just wanted to say you are doing an amazing job and your videos motivate me everyday to become a commercial pilot. Thanks for what you're doing and keep doing amazing videos. You have without a doubt inspired many people and im one of them. ✈️😊
I love this channel because you answer all questions about being an airline pilot besides flying. Keep it up!
I'm about to start flight training in a few months, this is one of the better flight channels I've found on RUclips. Thanks for answering all the questions!
"Nice food I've prepared myself or my lovely wife has prepared for me."
Awww. This takes away that perception of pilots are meticulous human-droids and shows us the true caring and loving yet very skilled person behind the yoke of an aircraft. Have a lovely day, Captain!
".... Hey my wife made these lovely cookies, try one". "Sorry I can't, she might poison both of us" lol
LMAO, best comment ever. TY, you made my day :)))
It’s all about food poisoning.
Can you show us a video when you're finished your flight and you're at a hotel?
+Mentour Pilot I would like to know what are the limits of the expenses under which you will be paid back by your employer when you arrive at destination for the hotel cost food cost and other costs. How is the hotel at your destination, the food quality, how many days you get to stay there and what are the activities you're allowed to do over there.
The food question made me think of Leslie Nielsen and the film, "Airplane", and half the other airliner movies that have been made over the years
I had the lasagne...
This channel is funtastic. Very informative. Thanks a lot for your job done!
Great Videos. I love the insight you give into a pilots life and what goes on!
Do you do long haul? Would be good to see the pilots sleeping cabins. Good tip about drinking water too. I like your channel because you give us the flip side to flying. As a passenger, we never know the full story.
You got a new subscriber
Great channel, awesome information about being a pilot! Thanks a lot!
My favorite RUclipsr , best Channel!
The food you eat is different,
Wow, every thing about aviation is very well thought
+Praise Fiatepe Yes, there are procedures for almost everything and they are normally there for a good reason.
Mentour Pilot mm, thanks for the reply.
Hey! You are really doing a great job with these channel. Can you recommend some flight schools? The pros and cons of each school. For instance some schools gives you a college degree with their program.
So the story of different food between the Captain and the FO is real... Good to know, thanks!
You are amazing you answered an answer I did not think about
Are you able to pack any food? For example in Australia, you aren't able to bring milk and I think bread on board, they take it away during baggage X-Ray. I might be wrong about this but this was what happened to me as a passenger 2 years ago.
I know this video is old, I just found your channel and it's entertaining.
You mentioned drinking a lot and staying hydrated. Do pilots have their own bathroom?
how pilots are treated in any airport ?
Excellent advice, thank you for sharing your thoughts..
Great video
Ah but what about your general diet? Do you have to have a strict - athlete like diet? Can you have a tin of lager on your days off etc?
Thank you so much for providing such great, detailed videos! I was wondering if being a pilot is stressful? And do you take home any work? And if it is better to take your pilot training through a flight school a little at a time or if it is better to go into an aviation college? Thank you so much!
+Mentour Pilot thank you!!!

Yasith Rodrigo I’m thinking the same ugh flight school over med school
No, you are never too late to start. 26 is actually pretty young. 3-5 years can do the job of completing training.
With talk of a 17 hour flight being announced between the US and Singapore I wondered if you could cast some light on how such a flight would be handled crew wise.
hey mentour, plzz make video on pilot license and all ex-atpl,mpl,ppl and all
What types of planes have you flown.....whats your favorite and why
Love the quasi-Irish accent.....we get that in my own company too.
Does the aviation community have an internal journal /newsletter keeping you up to date on events, news etc within aviation

really good stuff on this video
man you dont look pilot materiel "DAWG!!!"
+Kris Dedsec who said you have to look like pilot material to even have an interest in it, thank good you don't have the last say on that for anyone..i don't think Mentor encourages hate comment such as your own.
who said anything about hate here??? we're all brothers here. take it cool man.
I was just joking.
I'm sorry if I hurt yout feelings :)
+Kris Dedsec your comment is not appreciated..i love aviation regardless of what my picuter shows, inappropriate comment...."Frequency Change Approved...Good day"

Some good advice!

You've got a new subscriber.
Please can you tell me where do I get more info on how to be a airline pilot?
When you mention bringing your own homemade food, it makes me think Do pilots have to deal with baggage weight restrictions ? And what about liquids ? I know pilots do have to go through airport security like passengers but please answer my 2 questions.
Thank's !
Please reply my question
@@psirvent8 it seems the author does not read comments.
i love your videos
did you ever have an accident in the plane or come close to one?. great vid mate 👍
+Mentour Pilot thanks for replying. good to hear
Thank you for the information, very useful! I have question: why there aren't any cameras in and out of airplane monitoring all decks, from cargo right way up till business class and fuselage, so that Captain could see in case something happens
Its not nessesary to get visual monitoring the situation. Data indicator is enought. Sorry for my English=)
your doing a really great job with these videos thanks for posting :) I'm glad I'm came across you channel and pateron
Great informative videos as always thumbs up. I have a question can u do a video on eye sight of a pilot meaning if I have a weak eye sight or hv undergone a laser surgery can I become a pilot.. Thanks
EK,EY, QR & TY all give their pilots business class meals, anyways nice your wife makes you a meal it has the ingredient "Love" :)
i have problems with maths and my dad said i should go to art department but i want to go to science because i love piloting and everything about it can u help and advice me and if i go to art class i will not have any experience of physics but i will still have for maths
thank you for your video we appreciate. my question is does a pilot need a visas to enter in each country is flying
Can you make a video about the turn around?
Sir I have a question sometimes when I am flying through aircraft I have observed that aircraft shaking and it's fearful actually what is it cloud interfering to engine or what?
Generally speaking, how many fligths works a pilot on a short-medium haul? How about liquid foods (soups, sauces, etc.)? Are you allowed to bring liquids through security?
Georg Steinhauser nope your not allowed to bring liquids through security. They will ask you to throw them away before you go to the security department.
I LOVE you
MAN , I LIKE WATCHING YOUR CONTENT , U ARE MY Ideal .....
one question , how to pick a good flight school in Europe , how to know that the package is good enough , any idea about flyby school in spain , any detailed advises related to this topic
thanks in advance
Hallo! Just wondering what is a typical prepared meal you eat? What is inside those aluminum containers your wife prepares? Danke!
thanks a lot
Was the different meal system implemented because of the movie Airplane!?
Thanks for this channel, some planes have rest rooms on top of the cabin with beds, do pilots sleep when they are flying?
Okay thanks
Great video again i was just wondering say you were hoing on holiday with you family and you went on that airline that you work for do you get a discount and fly in first class?

How often are you tired in flight and how do you deal with it?
Very true.
Can you tell me about circadian rhythms. I understand that some time ago certain airlines used to chart them for pilots and they would not be allowed to fly if they were having a triple low - emotional - physicogal - physical. is this still done?
Great short video ^_^
my mouth is watering :)
Question: are pilots allowed to leave their seat and walk throug the plane or something?
you cant stay in your seat for over 8 houres.
I will not manage to get up anymore ;-)
it is logical to assume they would be allowed to get up during flight not only is it dangerous to stay seated for 7-8+ hours continuously
but also because well... when you gotta go you gotta go
Redoxiz it depends on the length of the trip and circumstances. if one receives a call from Mother Nature and we're safely at altitude, a bathroom break is permitted.
Redoxiz if the auto pilot is on and the captain or copilot is there then it should be fine.
Redoxiz normally we don't just walk through the plane unless we're using the bathroom. there are occasions when we do have to travel into the cabin but that's a while other post😉

Advanced thanks
Thanks so much for responding my questions captain :)
Mentour Pilot can i get video on the requirement of airlines in a pilot (i mean i have heard all airlines need 1500 hrs to join as pilot ) if u can answer there ??
how many hours in month do you fly?
you've probably answered this a million times but what are the rules and restrictions on filming in the cockpit
Recording is fine, as long as the device doesn't get in your way or distract you during key points of flying (aka takeoff and landing), so your allowed to hit record and do what ever, as long as you don't fuss about it
+Rapture Actual cool, thanks
+Mentour Pilot
Hi, thanks for the information. And, I have two further questions (if you don't mind). One of them is regarding the 'Cadet' schemes, what is the minimum age requirement. Secondly, will those state-sponsored training schemes even accept a UK citizen? And if so, will they require you to speak their respective languages?
+Mentour Pilot
Thanks a lot. :)
Are you guys allowed to atleast have coffee, tea, or coke on board or do you have to bring your own as well?
Safe flying!
***** ahhh. Ok makes sense!
Can I go to the galley area? See the flight crew bed or somewhere else?
+Mentour Pilot don't like sharing there beds hmmm
There was a movie with Leslie Nielsen where there was something wrong with food ;) captain ate fish ;)
+Mariusz Kozłowski Yeah, I had the lasagna. ;)
So did you have the steak or the fish?
How fit do you have to be to be a pilot?
love these videos
Hi, i really love this video, can I share it on social media?
do what you do before the flight
What happens if a pilot or passenger has a kidney stone on a flight or even a heart attack?
what does the ap1 and ap2 do in a plane.
Are pilots allowed to bring own beverages or are they subject to exactly the same security as passengers?
super late but hello Montour
Do cabin crew get basic flight training in case of a accident?
Special Mango no but it has been proven that even a passenger can fly a plane in a basic manner as proved on myth busters
the atc guides them in
Just reading the checklists for operating pilot.
And no
Pax/ cc will not land a plane unless he has some knowledge..
+Mentour Pilot Thank you very much for your answer :)
@@AIRBUS319BY319 Mentour is too busy to answer your questions.
THIS IS AN IMPORTANT Q & I HOPE IT GETS ANSWERED ASAP: WHAT PLANE DO U FLY AND IF I WAS A PILOT DO I GET TO CHOOSE WHAT PLANE DO I FLY, OR DO THEY JUST FIVE U ONE AND U HAVE TO GET ON WITH IT.
I believe he flies the Boeing 737.The plane you fly depends on your rating, for example 737 and a 777 have different type ratings
+Saumya Shah Ok, thanks alot
+Sallah AL Houssawi You start as a new-hire on the smallest airplane they have. As you build seniority over time (3 to 10 years) you can move up eventually to captain and then after some more years you can move up to First Officer on a bigger airplane, and then after some years upgrade to captain on that airplane and on and on.
You choose the airplane during your training but with some airlines you have no choice during your training after that you will be working on that plane either Airbus 320/321 or Boeing 737, after few years you might train on other aircrafts before you can fly them. Simulator training that is.
Sir .is became pilot is a tough job
ok thnks
Can we play games in the cockpit when we are bored?
😂😂😂😂😂what yeah they have a 80inch tv and play stations
KALPAK KANNAUJIA no, even though the plane is set up in the cruise, we always have things to do. monitoring the autopilot. as advanced as they are, we never leave them to their own devices..I have seen them do some startling things. checking our progress against the flight plan, fuel usage, XM weather, engine parameters, listening to atc and staying alert, you get the idea. in turbine powered aircraft, things happen quickly. the mindset is, you need to be at least 25 minutes "ahead" in the flight, otherwise you are behind the airplane. always something to do.
KALPAK KANNAUJIA When i fly on vatsim for long haul flights I just watch youtube or request too step away and sleep for abit :P
ThatVillager17 lool I do that aswell 😂😂😂
See "ThatVillager17" reply :) i would appreciate an answer
are you allowed fizzy drinks in the cockpit?
+Sam Cranch Yes but you have to be very careful not to spill.
