Susie老師,你真的比大多數的外師好很多,你可以用很準確的中文來解釋英語,就憑藉這一點,你就很優秀,因為你有花大量的時間打好中文基礎,同時也發揮你母語的優勢,很棒! 真的。 Teacher Susie, you are really much better than most foreign teachers. You can use very accurate Chinese to explain English. With this, you are very good, because you have spent a lot of time laying a good Chinese foundation, and at the same time Taking advantage of your native language is great! Really.
These are certainly fancy words to express one's feelings. I have never used the phrase eclectic mix in my career so that is a riveting reminder for me.
Thank you for your riverting lecture, which is an eclectic mix of the definition of words and examples, and it is quite conducive for my English learning overtly and covertly.
Very well presented and very informative. “Eclectic mix” is probably British English-it is rarely used in America. The word “astute” does not have a congruent (for lack of a better word) equivalent in Chinese, but it indicates 機靈 or 機敏。Thank you, Susie.
Thank you so much for this video, please do more!🙏 Even we know these vocabularies, we can’t use them correctly in daily life. Your sentences are very helpful!
I accidentally run into your channel but feel some vague familiarity. It’s like I met you in China and you were very memorable, or maybe I don’t have good memories. I'm truly happy about your next journey pursuing your master's at Oxford. I've also been doing my PhD in the US. I guess in a way we both may miss the times in China from a few years ago. A message after another full day working/study.
great video! I feel like I learnt a lot, and meanwhile, not a lot, since I need to re-watch this one over and over and over in order to memorize them! 😂
Alright, I saw these similar advanced vocabularies from this video, in news articles and newspapers. 📰 Thank you for the lesson, Miss Susie, they are useful for writing.👍🏻
You are so beautiful ❤️ watched all of your videos already and I really your channel , Can’t believe u love Asian cultures and buddhism so much 👍 your mandarin is so fluent, hope u have more and more videos per week :)
There are tons of words like this episode confuse me. Please make more of this kind. Thank you! Very helpful, especially for those English explanation.
There is a decoration style called "eclectic",means you put top-class furnitures together, they will fit each other automatically. I learnt it from Dr.Frasier.😃
1. Conducive of/to/for
2. Ramification Financial ramifications
3. Verbatim
4. Eclectic
5. To deviate
6. Overt / covert
7. Astute
8. To err on the side of
9. Riveting
10. Conspicuously
Now you are very smart 😆😆🤣🤣🤣
These words? lol I knew them when I was 18 😂
Overtly it is not really hard to utilise them in daily life.
Conspicuously mastering 10 words doesn’t change any fact of being unclever. 🤔

the most beautiful English teacher in youtube. I like to learn sophisticated words
這類題目很好,希望可以再拍多幾集!謝謝!
學到了😁,但比起單字,那種由簡單的字詞拼起來的片語感覺更困難
像是之前聽到 "You have to put your foot down" 意思是 "to act firmly",沒學過的話會一頭霧水

老实说,关注你的频道最初不是因为内容,而是因为颜值。看过之后发现,内容和颜值同样精彩。
This video is conducive to higher level learners. Nine out of the ten words are new to me, I must study more.
This is definitely a riveting episode 💯 I am going to try to use them. Thank you!
🙄 is it making you flabbergasted?
Haha you might need to use 'riveting' for things that are more exciting than a vocab lesson 😂 But thanks for the compliment! 加油!

This is really conducive to my learning. Thank you so much! I hope I can see more this kind of videos! And you speak Chinese so awesome
Susie, your teaching is so classy and to the point! You will be sooooooo famous and .......rich!
Thanks for this kind of video.
I've immigrated to NZ for years and I only applied 6 of them.
Thank you that was very helpful❤ give me the way to exactly express the situation!❤
A riveting video, and conducive for learning English.😀
每一个词的解释和例句都太精彩了!谢谢!
好厉害,这样的英语教学是最实用的
This series is really great and practical!! Hopefully there'll be more videos about complex vocabulary 🔥
Thank you very much. I learn a lot from your RUclips.
謝謝你的深入教學
很喜歡這種有文化背景的英語教學,謝謝

Rivetingly I knew these words when I was 18 🙄 huh uh well and Eclectic mix is definitely BRITISH ENGLISH, not probably.
I think that in Cantonese 識執生 or 隨機應變 is very similar to the word "astute".
@@zhangpaul5927 Haha! Hong Kong Cantonese
You look so gorgeous speaking English, which is conducive for us to learn English!
Thank you so much for this video, please do more!🙏

剛巧來到這個影片,特別吸引我的地方是,你會為每個詞彙同時副加例子,常連到的片語或者用法。讚!
Beautiful, the teacher and the class!
Yes, Mrs. Woo.
Your Mandarin is absolutely superb and much better than many Chinese Southerners.
謝謝,太好了
好有用!
这期太棒了!
It will be a riveting experience to have a side by side English teacher like you and then I will overtly become an astute English speaker.

Hi Beautiful, Thanks so much for your time. Very useful "conspicuously"
Alright, I saw these similar advanced vocabularies from this video, in news articles and newspapers. 📰
Thank you for the lesson, Miss Susie, they are useful for writing.👍🏻
Are you sure about that? these words are mostly classified with middle-school level or post-college level literally.
You was a good teacher.
Nice! I will use them next Month visit exhibition in London. 👍🏻
good job Susie !!! u r in right speaking speed . BTW isn't it fast speaking is normal
It is definitely conducive to my business writing. Thank you for sharing.
Very useful and practical, just to mention not all the people understand well, even for those whose native language is English

riveting在工藝領域的時候是一種冷接的鉚釘技法!
In the artifact or handcraft term, it is.

There is a decoration style called "eclectic",means you put top-class furnitures together, they will fit each other automatically. I learnt it from Dr.Frasier.😃
Honestly, I've never used a single of these words after living in north America for almost a decade. They are very helpful. Thank you!
Very helpful. You explain every point clearly , it is instructive and fun to listen to your interpretation.
好棒!學超多的~~
Your tutorial is very conducive to add my daily vocabulary; thank you.
精彩,必記英單詞。
Love this video. Very useful indeed. This is how learned people speak.
好高端啊,我在新西兰生活快20年了,我才见到几个词而已。学到了,谢谢。
妳的教學好棒!很特別的地方是妳會特別提醒某個單字其實經常與另外一個字合起來用,這樣可以避免亂搭配反而聽起來unnatural
Thank you! this session is super helpful!
thanks, Susie, this is really helpful for me. I am waiting for the new one.
Love your this episode! Thanks so much. Learning new words this way seems easier to digest... need to practice, practice 😀
Thanks for your effort. I found them very useful in our daily lives. I also found the examples are very easy to remember. Thanks again.

My daughter is in London, UK. Everything about UK is riveting to me.
我已经听了10遍,还要继续听,直到每一个字都听懂,用法都记住为止。非常好!期待下一集同类视频出来。
