Here after hearing what Crae said about this song on the newest episode of his podcast. Krit's verse is incredible, open and vulnerable. Christians should be encouraging more of these types of songs, not condemning them. Respect to Lecrae and Krit.

I love that line "when I hear Krit confessin I respect him, cause most of us be lyin like our lives don't need perfectin"... that's real! If we don't get to a point of brokenness and repentance, we will never understand that we ALL need Christ!

Not very often you see a secular artist come on a song with a renowned Christian artist, AND talk about God...already loved Krit, but much respect for this song. I always come back to this song. Also gained respect for Lecrae to collab with him, not that he wasn't already a respected artist.

Krit is coming from a standpoint in this song that so many people are in. The point of this music is to touch those who are stumbling and shaky in their faith. Chances are introducing faith in a way not many people have heard it. Lecrae is reaching out to people who need to hear the gospel.

+PowerForTheGamers No no Deonta is right. Lecrae was at the top of the iTunes, but many people don't wanna listen to his music. Is it because it's too "real" for them and they are stuck listening to fakes like Drake, Rae Sraemmund, and the Rich Gang? Probably. Lecrae is one of the best rappers in the game right now, along with KRIT, Kendrick, JCole, and Joey Bada$$, as well as Andy Mineo (who is one of the most unique rappers in the game).

Who are we to determine who's a saint or a sinner. No man is perfect. If you have ever heard any of K.R.I.T. songs then you know he is strong in faith because he was raised by a praying grand mother. God sent us here for a purpose and for his people to judge one another isn't apart of that mission. Great song definitely going on my phone along with any other music that I think is worthy even if it's with "secular artist".

  • @squiddy9270

Who did Jesus minister to? Was it the "righteous, religious" Pharisees? Did Jesus come to heal the healthy people? Did he come to the rich? Jesus' disciples were fishermen, tax collectors, etc.. Jesus healed the sick, came to the poor. If no one is going to be shining light in the secular industry then who will? Does Lecrae talk about sex, drugs, or partying? He talks about real life issues and how walking with God will overcome that. I see so many people claiming to be so righteous that they know every one of Lecrae's sins. Man look at outward appearance but God looks at the heart. If we don't approach those who are not saved then how are they suppose to become saved? Ever thought about how everyone of you was not saved at one point?

You guys should make a demo for the next James Bond movie. This song with her singing reminds you of the soundtrack.. Wouldn't that be moving, to have a Christian injection in a James Bond soundtrack? We could all pass it around and petition. Please make more music like this. We need it.

apparently a lot of ppl on this post have forgotten what it's like to be unsaved, lost, backslidden, or otherwise living a lifestyle contrary to how Christ wants us to live - saved or not. How easy it is for us to become Pharisees. God has a way of reminding us of our imperfections. Keep it up, and you too will be the BIG KRIT of your own criticism. Humble yourselves and recognize when Jesus is reaching those outside of the very Kingdom which you were SO fortunate to be called into.

Its awesome how Lecrae isn't closed off to the secular world, he sticks to his views and stays with his faith, but he doesn't treat people with other views like freaks. And it was really cool with KRIT confessing and talking about stuff that a lot of people would be uncomfortable speaking about. Krit's part really makes this a powerful song.

Some people are visiting this video (along with so many more Christian videos) to make negative comments and spew hate toward God. All I can say is.... yay.... at least they are visiting Christian videos... I believe out of curiosity and there is a part of them that knows God is real. My prayer is I hope they see the truth while spending their time surfing Christian videos to make hateful comments. God is and always will be on the throne! Bravo Lacrae for spreading the TRUTH!

Just saying, it's not about "doing business" with people, it's solely about the message of the song which is about going up for prayer. The gospel is indeed for ALL people not to mention there is more power in hearing a story of someone who is turning away from violent, sinful backgrounds to pursue God rather than the familiar "grew up in a Christian household". Even Jesus said "It's not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick."

    • @Iffmeister

+Justin Acosta Technically, there is nothing like a Christian rapper. Music can't have a faith. Only a person. KRIT and Kendrick are the same in this regard. They are in the main rap game, not in CHH, and they are Christians too, just not every Christian is at the same place in their walk. I think Jcole is too, though I'm not sure

God gave man free will. And the world as we know it would not exist without balancing forces...without evil, we would not know good. Without pain, we would not know joy. Without tragedy, we would not know miracles. It is a terrible thing to happen, but it was caused by man.

He's still a secular rapper. He's like Tupac, Eminem, and Hopsin, he believes in God but still raps to bring glory to himself.

Jesus is talking to us thru these two dudes. I've been a fan of Lecrae for some years. KRIT as well, and if you a person who really believe in God. You have to know he's real to have two cats who can use this music to touch people. Bc all of what they're saying we all deal with. Real is real. I appreciate this blessing. Always gon be a fan of these dudes.

Truly folks! As long as you get the message... Honestly does it matter if he collaborated with a circular artist? God's Word is what any person should be getting as they listen to this song, and the people that God uses to get his message across is the only thing that matters_ to be SO honest. To do anything more amongst each other it's certainly empty, to let the words, the lyrics speak for itself. I know that once or twice I've felt a lot of Lecrae and K.R.I.T both were saying in their verses~ "Mayday!!!!!!!!" For so many times I've said; " Lord! I'm so tired of simply playing with you, you EVER just been fed up "playing" with the very likes of God? I leave this in the Lord's hands- I'm tired of crying. Ain't nobody been broken? 💔 lost a family member?, lost a child? Beat your Wife? Stole anything? Put down, or talked about someone behind their back? Lied?, Cheated?, Knew someone that was on drug's, or even struggled with the habit/addiction of drugs yourself? Heroin, Meth, Acid, Angel-Dust, Come On Somebody- God can use anybody, if you can't get to the gangster, what we call hoodlums, monster's as declared by those in the World. "Suffered for my crimes, so I wouldn't." Some one explain to me, how someone paid my way? That's what I'm saying Jesus did it SO that we wouldn't have to do it.
